Stopped in here after planting trees at the park wit Mountains to Sound Greenway. I have not eaten the food yet but judging by the wait, I’m sure it’s good. The trouble is they have a huge container of silverware about 6 inches in front of me and are rolling silverware. I really do not want to participate in their side work and 2 of us have asked if they could do it somewhere else… we were told no. It’s the only place to do it. Made a potentially great meal unpleasant. I will update on the food. I was there around 1 I think

Good food, big portions, good service, no wait lines, plenty of parking, friendly staff, a lot of Mexican inspired breakfast entrees. No complaints. Good business.

5⁄5 for food(their biscuits and gravy was divine and I love the ability to substitute fresh fruit for hash browns,) but 2⁄5(borderline 1⁄5) for service. 11AM on a Friday. Tons of open tables and far from slammed. I had to directly ask for every single one of my water and coffee refills throughout my entire meal; not once did the waitress just notice my low cup of coffee and/or water and offer to take care of them and she passed by me multiple times and was taking orders around me the whole time. I even put the almost empty cups on the edge of my table, where they sat for a good four plus minutes before I finally flagged down another passing waitress for a refill out of desperation. And I had to repeat this process three times. She at least came by and asked me if the food was OK, thus the 2/5, but a very disappointing experience with the service overall. I totally would have understood this if they were jam packed, but they definitely were not.

3.5 stars. This is a very cute breakfast spot both inside and out. The interior was decorated with plants, dishes and other homey items that gave it a cozy look. I came here on a weekday with two others around 7:30 am. There were some customers already seated and a steady stream of people filed in during our breakfast. I ordered the single Belgian waffle(with hot syrup and butter). The waffle was huge(for me, as a lighter breakfast eater) and so fluffy with a hint of cinnamon. This alone was about $ 8 which I consider pretty pricey since it didn’t come with anything else. My two friends ordered an egg scramble, which was served with a side of fruit and choice of toast. The service was very good and quick. Servers came around a couple times asking if we wanted more coffee and they were genuinely friendly. However, as a party of three, since we each ordered our individual dish we asked to split the bill. To me, this should have meant each person pays for their own dish. However, the server totaled all the dishes together and then divided the cost by three… so I ended up paying more than I should have. We are partially at fault because we didn’t specifically point this out, but still. Although I’m not upset about the situation, I thought it was worth a mention.

I am a sucker for a good eggs benedict and this place knows how to make it. I work down the road and every time I stop in to pick up my order to go the service never lets me down. Also their fresh fruit is FRESH! If you’ve been meaning to stop in, don’t waste anymore time!

Once upon a time… oh really about 3 years ago my friend Danny and I went to a restaurant in West Seattle for breakfast and the food was horrible !!! So, the next time we were going to have breakfast he mentioned a place out in Issaquah that served good food. So off we went… when we arrived the parking lot was FULL(a good sign) and there was a line… oh I was really getting excited and knew it was going to be worth the drive and the wait. Well, folks if I remember correctly he had the Greek Omelet and Swedish Pancakes and sausage for me. It was DELICIOUS and the servings were worth more than the prices listed on the menu. We ALWAYS go for breakfast once a month because it ISTHATGOOD !!! The end.

Solid breakfast. Not overly fancy or fussy. I get the crab benedict. And it’s a GREAT place to bring kids. Family friendly, fast and yummy. The bear pancake is adorable.

I’ve been here once before and the food was decent, almost up to par with iHop, but today I had to leave a negative review. We sat up at the bar stools because the dining area was pretty crowded. not sure why based on the poor food quality today. I ordered the stack of 3 pancakes and they had to be the worst tasting I’ve ever had. like worse than McDonald’s breakfast pancakes. Super dry with no taste at all, like I felt like I was eating a dried out sponge with some syrup on top. I was so disappointed I actually asked to have them taken off the bill. The waitress was nice enough but some of the other workers seemed to be rude, like not wanting to fill up water or coffee cups and cutting off customers as the walked by to the door or the bathroom. If you’re looking for decent breakfast food you’re better off going to the iHop across the street.

It was ok, i got some pancakes hash browns eggs and sausage. The has Browns were a bit watery the pancakes a bit dry and well the eggs were eggs. The best part of the meal was the sausage which were juicy and plumpy. I hate there coffee cups, two sips and the coffee was gone in honestly think they will save time of they just provided bigger cups. And a bit pricey the stuff listed above came out to 20 bucks without tip.

This review comes after much internal analysis of my experiences in the egg and U.S. booth And the flavor of the eggs I’ve been given. Brought my male friend into this establishment. Took his hand and I guided him into the world of flavor. waiter was very helpful I asked for strawberry daiquiri and I got what I wanted sometimes I wish I could go to this place but recent economic setbacks have forced me to only prepare food of my own of a far less quality caliber than this place has to offer thank you I love this place I love Unilocal

I have so many wonderful memories at this place and the service and food has always been great. Location: next to Gilman village in Issaquah by the nail salon and recycling store. Ample parking. Service: I’ve come here 10+ times and the service has ALWAYS been awesome, even when it’s busy. They never forget the little things you add on and things are never cold or late. Food: it’s pretty standard breakfast food, no twist or gourmet add-on. Yet it’s still a favorite of mine. The food is always cooked to perfection, and I have yet to eat something I didn’t like. They have hearty options and healthy options. Pretty vegetarian friendly, can’t say the same for vegans. Décor: standard tables and chairs and nothing too special. Think IHOP mixed with a farmhouse style diner. Lots of light and lots of seating. Could probably do 1−15+ people. Do not remember any booths. Price: not as expensive as IHOP but not cheap either. Most dishes run you about $ 10-$ 12. All in all, good food and good service can’t be beat. Hope they add more variety in their menu to come!

This restaurant makes me think of all of the things I would do if I had my own breakfast place, and not in an inspiring way. As I should have guessed from its name, absolutely every item on the menu is revolved around eggs and meat. There are practically no vegetarian/vegan options. The«vegetarian» sausage has egg in it I am sure(because of course) and I couldn’t even find oatmeal on the menu. Service was ok? And my coffee was never empty, so there’s that?

Just happened to pass through Issaquah and saw the restaurant… The name of it caught our eye and gurgles of our stomachs screamed out BREAKFAST!!! Great breakfast choices and variety! We ordered the Swedish pancake, eggs and choice of meat — bacon, sauage or ham steak. And the California Benedict. All was yummy! The benedict didn’t skimp on the avocado, big chunks, at least a whole avocado. Huge portions, so come over hungry. The restaurant is quite big, homey feeling.

I love these sort of places. There’s something about it that just feels special when you come in, but it’s nothing fancy. It’s just a nice breakfast place that is great for a Sunday morning brunch. If you’re looking for a great place to stop for a quick bite or if you want something that’s going to make you feel obese for the next 6 hours, here’s the place to come. TL;DR: Just a great, traditional breakfast diner.

Portions are huge so come hungry. Dishes are $ 10+ and they have several scrambles and Mexican-inspired dishes on the menu. I had the champion scramble, which came with spinach, diced tomatoes, green onions, avocado & bacon topped w/sour cream, pico de gallo, and mozzarella cheese. It was so big I barely made my way through ½ of it. I wish I asked for my hash browns crispy. They were a little too squishy for my preference and not seasoned so I had to go in an salt ‘em like crazy. We came back a couple days later to wait for traffic to die down on our last day in town. I had the eggs benedict, which I really enjoyed. Same issue with the hash browns — not crispy enough and under seasoned. It wasn’t a 100% win because the sides didn’t match up in flavor with the main. And is it crazy to say the portions were too big? There was no way I would have come close to finishing 75% of that dish and I left feeling like I wasted food since I wasn’t able to take it to go(plus breakfast food reheated is weird to me). Anyway, offering half portions would be a dream for the dainty like me. But if you’re headed out for a major hike, this is a good place to fill up. Service was good and coffee was consistently refilled; smiles and friendliness abound. The space is big and we were seated only after about a five minute wait after putting our name on a list.

Got their salmon eggs Benedict. Fire. Need to come back here to try out more stuff. Went here after a long night hang out and it didn’t let me down to cure my hunger. But I’d have to get going and make it before it closes.

Good food, good service. My favorite part of the meal was definitely the pomegranate mimosas. It’s a cute little restaurant that has a cozy feel to it. Our waitress was really sweet and prompt. I don’t really have any complaints and would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a simple breakfast. :)

I’ve read a lot of great reviews and saw all the delicious pictures so I suggested this place for a friend’s bday brunch. This place is great for large parties but the wait could be long since they don’t take reservations. I ordered the egg and steak and wanted my steak medium well. A friend of mine ordered medium rare… anyway when both came out they were both well done!!! Of course with well done the meat was dry. There wasn’t any flavor on our steak either. If I ever go back, I might try the egg benedict because that’s the only thing that looks good.

Came here for a late brunch on a very warm summer afternoon. I sat outside and it was so perfect. I definitely would come again for a nice breakfast since I live so close! I ordered waffles and my friend ordered one of the omelettes and we shared the side of bacon. Bacon was huge and deliciously fried. And both of our dishes were tasty, no complaints really. Waffles were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and the fruit that came with it were cool and fresh. It’s a pretty basic breakfast diner, nothing that really sets them apart! Nothing stood out or blew me away. But it’s a cute and semi hidden spot and conveniently located for me– I’ll be back on another sunny afternoon!
