Wow big difference from the last time I went. Received the wrong order, then with the correct order, eggs were dry. Bummer meal.

I seriously can’t believe the poor reviews for iHop in Issaquah! Maybe it’s just people who expect a 5-star restaurant? My husband and I have been going to this joint since we moved here 2 years ago and we’ve always had a positive experience. We’re headed there right now in fact… though that might be a mistake on a Sunday at lunch time… It’s bound to be packed! Probably with some of these people writing bad reviews? They probably want to keep you away so they’ll find a seat! ;-) I used to take my service dog with me(sadly deceased last week) and the people there have always been great about accommodating her as much as us! They’d offer her water and take a menu request for her of some bacon etc. As for us, we’ve always enjoyed the food and the service, and we’ve been to a lot of iHop restaurants over the years, including in other States. We’ve also been to some ‘nicer’ restaurants here in Issaquah and surrounding areas and have frankly been disappointed and felt way over-charged, for the most part! Though there are some nice ones too… but this review is not about those. If you’re looking for a 24 hour joint with some nice food and service, unless you want McDonalds, this is the place to come in the wee hours of the morning! It’s also a good place any time of the day. However, as I pointed out already, watch out as peak meal times can find it packed. We give it ‘as good as it gets’ for a 24 hour joint here in Issaquah. You’d be lucky to find a better place to sit around chatting over a cup of coffee(or tea or soda) and some pancakes on the East side of Seattle at 3am! The country fried chicken is great too! Thumbs up from us!

Was here about 3 weeks ago on the way to Eastern Washington. Came here for breakfast because we knew there would be an entire section of the drive without ANY place to eat a hot meal, so we stopped here. The service was fantastic. I don’t recall the lady’s name but her service was excellent. She was cheery, welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t remotely as wonderful. The food was pretty lackluster. My eggs were actually WET. I don’t even know how that happens. I cut my over easy egg and water/liquid came out. Clear liquid and no it wasn’t egg whites. It was so strange. I’ve never seen that before! The only decent thing was my banana nutella crepes. But that’s not hard to mess up because nutella can cover up any mistakes. You could put nutella on a car dent and no one would care about the dent: D

Family and I have been going here for quite a few years, I want to estimate around 10 or so. For the first eight years, things have been great. I always got the International Passport combo, and then the menu changed, so now it’s just a Swedish Crêpe Combo. My daughter liked trying new things, she just loves breakfast foods. She experiments with various omelettes and pancakes, but my husband usually gets either the big sampler or the omelette that comes with the grilled Serrano pepper(chicken fajita omelette or something?) For the last two years, we’ve had the following experiences: — Coffee mugs with stains, lipsticks, cracks, etc. — Silverware with OBVIOUS stains. Like, crusty food and white liquid stains. — Waiting twenty minutes to order. — Waiting thirty minutes to order. — Waiting forty-five minutes to order.(We left.) — Rude waitresses. — Very impatient servers. They make you feel rushed and uncomfortable, and they’re almost snappy. — Lack of accommodation. My daughter likes turkey bacon, and for nine years, it’s never been an issue to substitute it. Three or four times in just the past year, they say, «we’re out.» It’s strange that a BREAKFAST place runs out of turkey bacon the three or four times that we go. — Terrible crepes. I’ve been eating those swedish crepes for eight flipping years, and everytime I’ve went in the past two years, I’ve been very disappointed. Crepes are supposed to be light and warm, not heavy, burnt, cold, and… I’m not sure what word to use. In our most recent experience, they were like, overly chewy and borderline crunchy. — Burnt eggs. My husband likes scrambled eggs, so he ordered them, and thirty minutes later, voila, a plate of dark brown scrambled something. I just don’t understand how a cook or server would feel comfortable serving that. — Cold coffee. — Servers«avoiding» our table? It took us over fifteen minutes to get cream for our coffee, and there were only two families in the restaurant. Server literally came back with two little things of cream in her hand. Overall, I keep on making the mistake of coming here and hoping that it’ll be back to normal. I’ve been disappointed every time. I’ve moved to the smaller diners that are scattered about Issaquah, because at least they care about their customers and the quality of food.

Such a low rating from people … I don’t get it. We came, two adults and a toddler. They were prompt and friendly with service, the table was clean, and they had many options to choose from. We did two combos to sample a bit of everything, and a kid combo for the toddler since it offered some fruit as well. We all liked everything and were able to enjoy a nice brunch that filled everyone.

I remember as a kid walking into the INTERNATIONAL House of Pancakes and having that distinct worldwide feel. I had trouble with the complex«international» menu as it appeared then. I would decide on something that Ihad no clue of what it was. My syrup steward helped me with the selection; I chose a pretty dry maple. It was busy, but never precocious… The waiter with a French accent would ask«would you like Ze Sausage or ze Bay-cone? Ach der leeber I’m feeling German. Let’s go with the Sausage For the first time in my life, dammit, I am alive. The Menu has changed a bit since then, but the service I had was reminiscent of when I was a kid Our waitress Brenda P. was very fast, attentive, efficient and kind. You can tell that she is the kind of person that loves her job– those people are so hard to find these days. Most waiters and waitresses seem to specialize in serving up a dish of attitude at other restaurants. Even though you may not get the Flap Jacks Dejour here, we will keep coming back because of the service.

It was either IHOP or a $ 17 brunch at a fancy place. Which one does my S.O. choose? IHOP. I mean why not? It has breakfast food and it’s not ridiculous in price. I’m not huge on the greasy breakfast foods, but I do like pancakes. I got a 2 buttermilk pancake stack with bananas on the top of it. I like how the server was okay with me asking for something not on the menu. When the server came with our food she gave me the pancake stack with an extra 2 stack of pancakes with the banana inside. She said that the cooks happened to mess up the order at first and gave us the pancakes for free. I dig it. Good server. Good enough food. Free pancakes. No complaints for this iHOP :)

I have to say, this was the worse breakfast I had at IHOP. My crapes were soggy, we had paper on our ham, and the eggs we raw. Not medium over easy. Will not be going back to this place.

Very friendly staff, good service and good food! After just a couple visits we’re being greeted by name and even my order was remembered. Very impressed!

This place was ok but the employees work ethic has died right along with the food quality. You want crisp bacon? You’ll get soggy bacon. You want a milk shake? You’ll get chocolate milk. You want coffee? Then enjoy it out of a lipstick stained mug. You want a clean mug? You’ll get a new one with a different lipstick stain and chunk of food on it just like your silverware and plate will have. Same exact routine every time I’ve made the mistake of having brakefast here over the past few years. Won’t be back again.

Why can’t I 0 star this? It doesn’t even deserve a 1 star! I came here after class with a friend before our next class. The waitress was very nice. Although she seemed a little impatient and we felt a bit rushed to order, she was very sweet about it… Not. After coming over to our table twice within a few minutes, she started avoiding us. More customers started coming in and every time she passed us, she didn’t even bother asking us if we had any questions or ready order. So eventually after 15 minutes, we finally got to order. This man came in when we ordered but got his food before we did. HOWDOESTHATWORK?! I came back to complete my review but because this place was so disappointing, I don’t even want to bother putting in any effort into saying anything about this place. I don’t even wanna think about it. Basically, you’re better off driving to the Bellevue/Redmond location or down to Renton. Save the trouble and save any drama you WILL urge to start. Trust me lollllll.

Food was OK, Service was slow because they were understaffed. I would think the bulk of their business comes from the Motel 6 next door. Would we return? Yes but there are better options for breakfast in Issaquah.

Very pleasantly surprised with IHOP. No it isn’t fine dining but its nice people that want to serve you a high calorie breakfast, if you don’t want that then don’t go in! THANKGOD they finally upgraded their coffee choice and its so much better! That alone got this another star. We came here on Christmas Morning and really enjoyed our waitress.

It’s not the best I-HOP I’ve ever been to but it’s not the worst either. I have been to IHOP’s in 8 or 9 states but I really miss the IHOPs in Texas. The waitresses seemed to be much more cheerful, and they’re bigger and the food seemed to be fresher. Over the years the prices have slowly crept up at IHOP and unless you go with the deal they equal some of the better restaurants. This one is situated next to a Motel 6 so these seem pretty busy usually. I have been here twice and the service was average and the food was average too. We had to ask three times before they remember to bring us the ketchup. 3 stars.

I wish I could give less than one star. The service here was so slowwwww. It took 20 minutes to get a drink and then after having been there an hour — finally got up and left because we still hadn’t received our food nor had the waitress ever come back. Watched other people come in a get their food and eat. Hope they enjoyed it — I wouldn’t know. I am also not sure how this place gets three stars because i read every review and the math doesn’t work. Unilocal — you need to be honest. I’m not going to write reviews if you are going to do fuzzy math.

The bad thing first and we will end with good. BAD: the booths here are way to tight for people to sit in and I’m not a big guy either. It makes it very uncomfortable to enjoy eating here. This place could use a remodel as it’s very outdated. GOOD: The cheese Sticks are the best around. Large and filling. The have Pepsi products here. I’m not a fan of coke. They have free wifi, password is kidseatfree. They have the calorie count along with rash menu item right there. I had excellent service with Walter and would say ask for him. I would give 5 stars but the booths sucked here. Tight and uncomfortable.
