Well, I went there on a week night to meet a friend. It’s supposed to be my first experience at that wine bar and it turned out to be a bad one! That evening that I went in, there were staff talking to each other, ignored me and didn’t say anything when I went inside and seated myself at one of the tables. After one and a half minutes of waiting, a staff came to me and told me that they’re having an event and the bar is closed to the public for the night. Seriously? Firstly, if you’re closed for an event, you should put a sign on so the public will know. Secondly, why would you let people come in and wait until they seat themselves before you tell them you have an event? I am not going back to that place ever again!

Great local wine bar. There was a local band there this weekend and everyone was up and dancing. We all had a great time! We had the sautéed prawns for an appetizer and the halibut special which was delicious. Will be back.

I know it is busy, but 15 minutes of being ignored by the staff? Very low end place. Noisy with a local bar band doing covers. Will not be back. Will not recommend. In fact, would recommend avoiding.

I came in here with my mom on a week night and enjoyed it. Pros: –Good wine selection –Good ambiance –Good lighting Cons: –Not the greatest music playing in the background –Bread was a little tough(should have been heated) –Front of the place had no seating or tables — looks odd –Cold inside –Waitress was so sweet and a pleasure to talk to but she didn’t know anything about wine I would like to try this place again. Maybe it was an off night.

Terrific, warm, entertaining. Friendly staff and the owner treats you as family even when is your first time in. Very accommodating with my request and the entertaining is no short of those in Vegas! Nice to find a cozy place when one is new in town

Food tastes great, but really lacks in presentation. The special’s plating was very sloppy. I also expected the service that their price level would normally deliver. We waited and had to ask for multiple items(knives, water, napkins, etc.). I’ll end on two positives. The martinis were great, and I’m pretty positive we won’t be back.

If you want to have a fun night out this is a great place! We went on a Friday and the live band is fun and LOUD so expect to be hoarse the next day. People get up and dance and it’s great people watching. The wine is good and they have a fair offering of beer. The scallops were good! Small portion of only 3 but it was perfect for what we wanted. Will definitely be back!

Went to Vino Bella on a Saturday night(8:30pm «ish») in April with some really good friends. As we walked in the door Claude immediately introduced himself to me(my friends already knew him). The place was packed and the live music was pumping! LOVEDIT! More of our friends showed up and we all danced, talked(loudly), and had a Great time! Very small place but cozy and cute! Loved my Cosmo served in the little chilled bowl! We closed the place down around Midnight. I never imagined Issaquah as being the«place to go»!I hope to be back next time I’m up in the NorthWest. Ciao Bella!

It’s really nothing special at all. I felt like the food all seemed store bought and highly over priced. For a wine bar, they didn’t even use proper wine glasses and their beer glasses are the same ones I got for my house from target!!! So unfortunate!!! My husband and I were both disappointed overall with our experience.

The owner is very nice. We came here for comedy night. The food is pretty good. Prices are a little on the high side, in my opinion but this is Issaquah. I ordered the pasta bolognese and also tried the pesto gnocchi, spaghetti and meatballs, and the halibut special. The pasta was all ok, I thought. The spaghetti, the bolognese, and another pasta dish of my friend’s all had spaghetti noodles. When the prices are $ 14 – 23 for a dish of pasta I think the noodles should be a little more special, maybe even homemade. The appetizers were fine. All of the food was pretty good. Tiramisu was okay. I would return when in the area but it’s really a neighborhood Italian spot– not a destination.

We came here for dinner before seeing Mary Poppins at Village Theatre. It’s really more of a wine bar than a restaurant. We enjoyed the caprese. The presentation was beautiful and the taste was fresh and flavorful. My husband had the lasagne which was nothing special. My fettuccine Alfredo was really bland. Parmesan would have helped, the noodles were also burned a bit so it tasted funny. The tiramisu was really watery, but the cherry ice cream was quite delicious!

Not sure why this place is so popular. Average wine selection. Food is very average. Gets really crowded when they have live music. Great Issaquah location!

Wow! I love this place. The service was outstanding, the décor is lovely, the bar is clean. The wine selection was great. My husband and I enjoyed walking around the bar to look at the art. If you find yourself in Issaquah, you need to visit Vino Bella Wine & Espresso Bar.

While visiting Issaquah, I became enchanted with the town. It is picturesque being nestled in the mountains and the downtown area has such a quaint feel to it. I saw this place while we were across the street and decided that I had to go. Its a kinda small place and has a little outside area with a couple of tables. I had a glass of refreshing rose and my friend had the some cider. The interior is brick and has beautiful pieces from local artist. I really enjoyed my time there and will definitely return to spend more time here.

I’ve driven past this place so many times so I finally decided to stop in. The interior is beautiful. Beautiful woodwork and they have some wonderful art pieces on display. The disappointing thing is the prices on the wine list. I know that I have seen the same wines on other restaurant wine lists for lower prices. I know there is always a mark up but some of the ones here are outrageous. I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Erica and Victoria are the best waitresses. Thanks for an unforgettable evening and for sharing laughs with Kim and I. This was a first visit for the both of us and besides great music, amazing Pollo Gorgonzola, and wine, you two made our night! Thank you!

The staff are the best. Just moved here and had 10 new friends by the end of the night. Good wine list and great food.

If you just want to have a sit, sip some wine and hang out for a bit this could be your place. On the upside: There is a nice atmosphere, there are some good wines by the glass, one very professional waitress — well informed, able to offer advice, attentive, and quick. However… 1: One waitress either in training, or simply lacking in knowledge about the food and wine she was serving. A proper wine bar, and any restaurant should have people working for them who are able to comment upon the food and make well informed suggestions about wine pairings. and more importantly, 2: The gnocchi al pesto was forgettable at best.

I came here with a friend to see her bf play live at this spot. The place was packed, and this was around 8pm on a Thursday night. Vino Bella is pretty narrow and darkly lit, but is very cute. Luckily my friend arrived first and saved us a table because there were literally no other bar spots or seats available. I generally had a nice time and enjoyed the location and atmosphere, but I was a little annoyed at how many items they were out of. My friend and I wanted to get a bottle of champagne and split it, and the bar was out of ALL choices of champagne, besides a very expensive bottle so I just got a glass and she got a dark ale. We ended up choosing a chardonnay that was also unavailable(!) and we were given a replacement that turned out to be Hogue brand wine. I was really disappointed as I wanted to try something new and different from the average cheap-o grocery store wine. I was really surprised at how many items were unavailable, I’m not sure if that is a normal thing that happens there or if I just picked a bad night. I’m willing to give Vino Bella another try so we’ll see what happens next time!
