I don’t have a negative thing to say. Everything was wonderful. We had shrimp appetizer, burger and fish tacos along with beer, cocktails and dessert. Everything was spot on! Great, friendly service and worth every penny spent. Highly recommend this spot.

This place was such a wonderful surprise. Incredible food! We split the pomegranate kale salad and just veggie pizza and they were both outstanding!

So disappointed! Reds Place claims to be a restaurant that uses fresh local ingredients. Yet, when I shared that I have an allergy to MSG, a food additive, I was told«just about everything we serve has MSG in it.» If it’s true, this is really sad. If it’s not, management should know what their staff is sharing with customers. We find it hard to believe a restaurant in Ithaca, NY is not MSG free by now.

I’m so sick of trying to eat here. Every time we come they are out of half of the items we try to order. They never cook the burger the way I order it. It’s been problem after problem and we keep coming back because the menu is great and the atmosphere is fantastic. Today was the last straw though. Not gonna bother anymore. Bye for good red’s.

Loved our evening here! We started with the Boom Boom Shrimp — delicious! Then we split the Flatbread Special — flatbread with chicken, pineapple mozzarella — very good! Service was very good.

Wow we actually loved this place. Tristan and I were seriously starving and we came in on a busy weekend night before the rush though(no wait– thank god)! After we sat, the wait went up to 50 mins insane! Service was pretty slow cause of the busyness, but the waiter was attentive and very nice with whatever we needed. I ordered the chicken pesto broccoli sandwich with a side salad. It was amazing! So delicious and the apple cider dressing on my salad was so savory. Tris ordered the aurora street burger and steak fries. He loved both and said the fries were amazing. We left some room for dessert and he got smores while I opted for the donut with purity ice cream. Both were so sweet and great, just different flavors. the donut was freshly fried and warm and the ice cream melted perfectly. It’s raspberry drizzle added the right tough. Tristan liked how his brownie chunks melted into the graham crackers. affordable and yummy dining experience in downtown

Solid place. Lots of good looking stuff on the menu. Plenty of options for vegetarians. Portobello mushroom sandwich was good but a little over marinated. Steamed veggies were great. Awesome bloody Mary’s. Liked it!

Great gluten free options, I went with the blackened mahi mahi club on a gf roll with yummy tater tots. The roll wasn’t especially good, but nice texture and it came grilled. The only complaint was not very good guac, but I am a guac snob. There were gf pizzas available which is nice to see. Husband got the cuban with tater tots. The rum soaked ham and mustard were a great combo. We shared the farm salad to start, a huge portion for the price! Fresh greens and veggies, big chunks of cheese, and tons of bacon and sunflower seeds. Loved the freshness, color, and texture. Would definitely go again. We had a table near the door which was chilly, so dress appropriately.

Their outdoor seating was nice but their service for brunch took a very long time. Watched two other tables, who sat after my group, get their lunch. Ordered the frittata which was incredibly dissapointing. It was one of the only brunch items that was $ 12(compared to $ 10 to all the others). It claimed to have roasted corn, red peppers, black beans, bacon, and avocado but there was only little scraps, the egg was completely tasteless and dry, and maybe 3 black beans, and no bacon. Not my favorite brunch. However, other people ordered their other items which they loved. So definitely don’t get the frittata

We had a great lunch there today. The black bean chili was both spicy and flavorful and with cornbread it was nearly a meal in itself. Then the daily special flatbread was truly awesome. Definitely worth going back.

I went to Red’s Place for brunch and got the blackberry French toast and home fries. The home fries were pretty good but I’m a snob when it comes to my fried potatoes(though I’ll basically eat any fried potato you put in front of me) and these were definitely not the best. They had good flavor but they were not crispy enough on the outside. The French toast was simply OK. The blackberry sauce was great and I wish it had more but the cream that was on top was too sweet and the French toast was not the correct texture. If I’m going to waste my calories on a sweet breakfast, it better be damn good. This was not. It wasn’t bad but it definitely wasn’t up there with some of the other brunches I’ve had in Ithaca.

We stopped by Red’s Place because they had outdoor seating and were pet friendly. We will definitely be back because the food we had was fresh and delicious! We had the flatbreads and they were excellent! Our server was very friendly and was very attentive to our needs! A+++

try the Cuban with a side of tater tots. The server Ian recommended it and I can’t thank him enough! I was so impressed. I heard they’ve gotten bad food reviews in the past so I’m assuming they’ve stepped up their game… whatever it is, I don’t care. the Cuban with tater tots! get it.

First visit this past Saturday lunch. The hostess told us we could have the next available table on the patio but decided to seat another party at the table she told us was ours. Fail. We ate at the bar. The guy working was the owner. He was nice enough. The food was delicious but pricey. Two beers, one app, 2 sandwiches = $ 70.00 Ouch. Will return.

I came here on a slow Sunday night and I had a fantastic experience. I can’t say much about the service, since we were one of two tables eating, but the waitress was helpful and attentive for us. I would have to go back during a busier time to really know how the service is here. The ambiance is great. They have nice, comfortable seating, a beautiful bar and two excellent tv’s. I love the mason jar water glasses. The food was really good for a pub type establishment. We had a mushroom sandwich with au jus(which was a little too salty) and a side of homemade applesauce. The applesauce was delicious! I would highly recommend getting it. We also had the slow cooked turkey sandwich. I thought this was amazing. It had bacon, arugula, cranberry and walnut compote and a garlic aioli. It was a unique twist on a classic and they did it fantastically. The fries were amazing also. Hot right out of the frier and served in a mini deep frying basket. The fries were perfectly seasoned. The food at this place is great. Check it out if you are looking for delicious sandwiches or burgers!

So I was on the fence about giving this place a 4⁄5 but really it’s only getting a 3. First off the atmosphere here is pretty cool. I like the dark colors, deep reds and intimate space they’ve made. The service was spot on. Our waitress was quick, friendly and could answer my questions about the menu which was great. but let’s be honest you came here for the food review so let’s get on with it! I ordered the chicken and waffles«sandwich» which came with siracha maple dipping sauce and fries. The sandwich itself was slightly bigger then a eggo waffle but not by much and in the middle, the smallest, flattest piece of fried chicken I think I’ve ever seen but the waffle wasn’t too big so you could taste the chicken. The waffle tasted not frozen but the flavor wasn’t much more than an eggo waffle(looked identical). The chicken though, that had alot of crunch and a lot of flavor for what chicken existed between my two waffle«buns». What disappointed me was that it was just that, chicken… and 2 waffles. I would think maybe add something else, something more, maybe a friend hashbrown or some sort of potato something or other? Maybe bacon? idk, I felt it needed something else. Apparently you can get an egg on it but idk, I feel like an egg wouldn’t have been the appropriate addition to this sandwich. The dipping sauce though, that brought this meal full circle. Siracha maple sauce. I am pretty cure it was just maple syrup and siracha but I don’t care. I had never thought to do it, they did, so they get the credit here. This sauce with the sandwich hit the freaking spot. the flavor was right on and is the reason I give this place a 3. The fries were good too but they were definitely cisco frozen fries. The middle was starchy and they didn’t have too much flavor but they were crunchy and when drenched with the maple siracha sauce I didn’t care that they weren’t the greatest. The price is what keeps this place from getting 4 stars, and is what makes me want to bring this down to a 2 star. The price for said sandwich, fries and a water was $ 15. $ 15!!! For a small piece of chicken, 2 «eggo» waffles and a small amount of cisco fries? That was ridiculous to me. I’ve ordered Kobe Beef Burgers from the Ale House that didn’t cost that much. Let’s be honest here, this was ridiculous to me. Anyways…Overall…I’d definitely come back if someone else paid for me but wouldn’t spend my money back here, not worth it in my opinion. Yes the flavors were great but really, money vs quality vs quantity is severely unbalanced here. This sandwich with the fries was a $ 8 maybe $ 9 sandwich but even $ 10 would’ve been pushing it. So I’d go try it for yourself, see what you think but after going with a few of my friends we all came to this same conclusion. Lower the prices slightly and you’d have a winner right here. I will say this though, thanks for the Maple Syrup and Siracha idea, definitely trying this at home, maybe with a maple cream though to give it a thicker texture.
