Bachue Restaurant and Bar

I had an amazing experience dining here! I was with a group of four for a friend’s birthday, and our server Carlos made us feel like we were right at home. He offered us insight on the menu and was extremely professional as a server. Carlos gave us enough time to browse the menu, eat our food, and relax before coming to our table and offering his assistance.
We had bandeja tipicas which were an excellent portion, as well as chuleta bachue and arroz con pollo. We ordered a round of mojitos and I can definitely say, the blackberry flavor is one of the best mojitos I’ve EVER had.
It will be interesting to see how this place fares with the rest of the latino-​oriented restaurants in the neighborhood. I look forward to coming back in the future.

Not good. No bueno. Girl, this is not colombian food. Its not like sickeningly gross but why you want to eat bad, bald, soggy food? Ordered the seafood salad; bad. Ordered the bandeja typica; not good. How do you mess up fried pork? how do you mess up rice n beans? Wow. Never again. Hamas. void. Girl. just don’t

Just wanted to give this place 5 stars. Had a great time with fanily and friends. The only complain I have is that the food took a little long. But they made it up with cocktails.

I went with 3 other friends and we had a good time. Happy hour ($ 4) was from 4 – 7 but only for a few selected drinks. The servers were all nice and friendly. However, it took around 10 – 15 minutes for each of our drinks to arrive. It was kind of annoying so we had to order two drinks at a time to refrain from waiting again.
The place is nice and clean. Definitely a good place to watch sports since there are 3 huge TVs above the bar. They have a DJ that plays good music. My friends and I were dancing on our seats. The place should really make space for dancing.
The manager Benny was super nice. He walks around the place to check up on everyone. He talked to us for a few minutes and gave us free rounds.
I haven’t tried the food there yet but I am definitely coming back. This will definitely be my go-​to spot.

Beautiful place, the food it’s delicious and the dessert is amazing. The waiters have excellent hospitality.

Nice little spot, with TVs to watch soccer, or football. The staff is attentive to a point, but you need to wrangle them sometimes to get a drink order in. I asked if they had a drink menu, and they said they didn’t. Not less than 10 minutes later, a party of women walk in, ask me if I can move over for their party, which was fine by me, and the same bartender rattles off the drink menu. You have to love selective service. I’m a pretty big tipper when I go out to restaurants, since the wait staff don’t get paid well for the most part. I doubt I’d be back here anytime soon.

Delusional, food is terrible and wants to be high end with cheap ingredients. Drinks are ok, however the food is a joke. You’re better off going to Mario’s or up the block at more established and reputable Colombian restaurants in the neighborhood. Place looks nice and that’s about it. The same meat that comes in a Bandeja they sell for an $ 18 price plate by itself. When asked management about this they made up some bull about the sauce being different. It’s like the «chef» saw chefs table or bravoss cooking shows and thought to themselves to copy the plating without technique and expertise that comes from years of training.

My boyfriend and I went to check out the new place in the neighborhood. We had high hopes for the place but those were dashed quickly upon ordering our drinks. I ordered a fuzzy navel and the waiter and bartending staff were not sure how to make it even after we told the waiter what was to go in it. We then had to write out the recipe for the manager and he proceeded to make the drink. When we ordered our meals we wanted something simple and yet what we got what a big headache. I ordered a meal that was steak and steamed potatoes yet I got greasy fatty steak and something that was grilled and not steamed for potatoes. My boyfriend ordered a meal that was to be chicken without any steak or pork. Instead of chicken he got pork and steak and when we stated that it was the wrong meal all the wait staff was unsure what to do. When we then told the waiter what my boyfriend would take in replacement they took way too long to bring it. It was empanadas so it should have been easy. Well that took forever and when we went to the manager to tell them that we wanted to pay for our drinks and leave he seemed confused as to why I didn’t want to eat fatty meat and my boyfriend didn’t want to wait 20 minutes for his new food. We left after paying 14 dollars for our drinks, 1 beer and 1 mixed drink but realized we would never go back. Such a shame as we like to try new places. The food was very limited and made us realize this was not a place for us. They definitely lost our business.

NEVER AGAIN! ok so I came to have dinner today sunday June 28 at 6:32 pm with my partner the server took a few minutes to come over wich is normal he took our order and thats when everything starts, the drinks took abt 10 minutes to arrive and then we waited for 35 minutes and I asked him for our food, and he I am sorry we are taking so long but I allready rushed then, and then we waited annother 30 kinutes and we decided tobpaid for the drinks and walk out. Definitely I am not pleased with the fact that nobody actually gives a dammm about the clients, the server was nice and polite, the food Ill bever find out because they never brought it to our table, TO THE MANAGER: Please pay attetintion to tjose lik things as a consumer is annoying when things like this happen, so to the new ppl coming in make sure you have plenty of time to waste until the bring your food

Im only givin two because of the decoration. I came w my bf on a saturday night we had pollo dorado and my bf had carne llanera «Disgustin». An 8 year old cook better than this «chef».
My rice had tons of oil and extremely salty.
My bfs carne llanera was pale with no taste .
Pricey BUT PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. What a waste of money!!!
Very dissapointted. Dont let the fancy menu fool you.

La picada was excellent! The piña colada and the sangria were delicious! Great atmosphere, awesome service, definitely recommend this place to anyone!
