Chilli Chicken

Wow. Reading the other two reviews here make this place seem like I went to a chili chicken on some other planet!
Contrary to the other reviews, I have been here twice now and both times the food was pretty tasty.
The best dish we had was the beef sizzler and then the lollipop chicken. The Thai soup is also quite good. Mix in some of the red sauce they have on the tables to add a kick to it.
The only complaint I have about this place is that the service is horribly poor. The place was nearly empty when we went in — maybe one other table was occupied. There were two servers. Despite that, we had to clear our own plates and put them on the empty table next to us to make room for the entrée. At one point we thought we might as well bring the food to ourselves.
Yep, horrible service.
Other than service, I’d say its a pretty nice place. Interior is nice, clean, and welcoming. Food is pretty good and not too expensive.

This place was terrible. My entire family nearly vomited after eating here. It was one of the worst meals we have ever had. We order lolipop chicken and it was gristly with an inedible sauce. The gobi masala had a gross brown sauce. The ginger basil beef looked and tasted like dog food. The only edible item were the low mein noodles and they were very greasy. Avoid this pit at all costs. It’s better to eat at the many quality Indian restaurants in the area.

Horrible food. Terrible service. Went there for lunch on a hot Saturday morning. Temperature outside was in the 90s. It was HOT inside. The owner refused to turn on the AC. He had one small fan for the entire place. We ordered a chicken chilly considering it would be their speciality. Chicken pieces were small, too much salt/​MSG. The quantity was Less. The general Tso’s chicken which my son specially ordered (its not served on weekends) was overcooked and chewy. The vegetarian noodles were the only saving grace in our order.
The service was poor. The waitress/​server was busy talking over the phone probably taking orders (she was just doing what she was asked to by the dimwit owner… she is not to be blamed). At one time we thought of just leaving the place. It was a terrible experience. I wont recommend this place nor will i ever visit it again.

Went there with my sister and I loved the food! Chicken Lollipop is my favorite appetizer on the their menu and the Chicken Manchurian was also great! However the waiter he’s clueless LOL he couldn’t answer any questions, he was hesitant and I can tell he was nervous it was probably his first day at work but other then that we had a good time and enjoyed the food! The manager was very nice and we were engaged in a conversation. The only complaint I have is that they don’t have an air conditioner! If they do then their too cheap to turn it on because it was sooo hot in the restaurant!

I called to have food delivered. The good news is the delivery guy found my address. The bad news is the delivery guy found my address. If your idea of a $ 5 Thai soup is 3 small dumplings, 1 shrimp and 3 ounces of Sriracha hot sauce in 5 ounces of chicken broth sounds good, than go for it. Other food was same combo of measly and nasty. With all the good cheap food in this area don’t make the mistake of going here.

I was not able to try Chilli Chicken’s food, but we found its management to be dishonest. When our party of 4 arrived, our waiter told us that our $ 30 Groupon could only be applied towards 2 people’s totals. This was not one of the terms of our Groupon and we asked the waiter to clarify with his manager.
After calling his manager, the waiter informed us that the manager would in fact not take our Groupon at all because it was a weekend day. Again, there was no such restriction on the voucher.
Restaurants make a commitment when they do a Groupon. When we left (before ordering), the restaurant went back to being empty. Unless this management treats its customers honestly, I’m not sure it’ll get much busier.

Horrible food… if you are looking for a real desi chinese, go to tangra masala or sagar chinese… dont even bother trying… i think even i can cook bettter desi chinese with no experience at all…

I usually give restaurants few chances until I give a negative review like this. This place, for me, has gone down the drain. I ordered a delivery twice and first time, the rice seemed to be from previous day, it had a very pungent smell. I had rice in my freezer so, I threw away theirs and had my own.
2^nd Delivery, I ordered Chilli Chicken and Spring rolls. The order took 1 hour to come, the food was stone cold and the chilli chicken was very dry and to top it off, the spring rolls were cut in the middle. I called to complain and the only excuse that I got was that the delivery guy was new, he was lost (I live only 4 blocks away from these guys, how can you be lost) and that’s why the food is cold and dry. I asked them to send me another one as I don’t want to reheat this and eat. The reply was they were busy and would definitely give me good discount in my next order.
Called today again, ordered and reminded them for the last time, the guys goes «oh yes yes, I remember you, I can give you 5% discount».
What an idiot, I’m never never going to eat or order from here again and I wouldn’t suggest this to anyone anymore. Their standards has gone down and clearly they don’t really care about their returning customers. I’ll be surprised to see this place open until summer with this type of service and attitude with almost 20 restaurants within 1 block around.

Horrible place. Got a groupon that said you van pull the coupon up on your mobile app and when I got there I was showed a table and given a glass of water with a dirty lipstick stain on i. When I was ready to order I showed them my groupon app and they said I had to have a printout. I asked to speak to the manager and told them I never had a problem showing groupons from my phone especially when it said in fine print you can show it from your phone. So I left and wont be coming back here.

In a word: disgusting. Was good as Himalayan Hut but they’ve taken a terrible turn for the worse as Chilli Chicken with gristly meat, mushy shrimp and soup that is practically all corn starch.
