not the best, only good if you want late night massages done.

WORSTPLACEEVER!!! I went with beautiful thick eye brows that I had purposely let grow for over two months, only to have them left like two thin little lines!!! I the lady please leave them thick and just clean them up a bit, when I looked in the mirror I had no eyebrows left. I am extremely upset, and I regret paying for the service. I purposely created a Unilocal account because of how upset I am. Worse service I have ever had. Plus the place is dark! How can they see what they are doing?! STAYAWAY!!! They don’t deserve that one star btw!

I went there for haircut few times. I feel that this place is quite expensive to spend almost $ 40-$ 50 and the haircut was not that great, just OKAY!!! :/

I left this place very unhappy. Went for half hour massage and the the staff was a new member named Sanam. The wait time alone was more than 20 minutes. I was in a tiny dirty room. She gave me really bad attitude, not friendly at all. The massage was horrible, she pressed on my neck and shoulders and gave me more pain. I tried to tell her to ease it up and she gave me more attitude. I walked out after 10 minutes and told the owner. He was a nice guy but only gave me a discount on my «next» visit. This was a waste of my time and money. I may not recommend this place to family and friends unless they treat me, the customer, the right way. Give me something to make up for this horrible experience.

Called these people around 10:45pm to see if my friend and i can walk in for mani pedis, and the lady on the phone said it was fine. We go all the way to jackson heights and get there around 11:20 — 11:30 and notice that their lights are all off but the sign said open. Walk in and the owner gave us attitude and said that they are no longer doing mani pedis. After complaining he told us to wait 10 – 15 mins for the girl to finish up. While we waited we noticed the place was pretty dirty and decided that we didnt want toe nail fungi after all so we left. The owner was rude and adamant that we were lying about calling them prior to coming in. Needless to say, never again!

Okay so let me make one thing clear first… this review is solely based on my hair cut experience from today, I have never had a massage here. I walked in and the receptionist told me, they have only one specialist for hair cuts, which was fine with me however he wasn’t available. The stylists name is Shibbir, and he was very sweet! The receptionist gave him a call and he came back just to cut my hair, which is awfully nice of him. He gave me the best hair cut, I have ever gotten!!! I’ve tried many places and he was the best! The cut was also affordable and not only did he wash my hair, cut it and styled it, he also gave a deep conditioning treatment after noticing how dry my hair was for free. All of that for 30, can’t beat it! And I promise the cut was awesome! He gave me his number and said to contact him directly, if I need another cut. Which is great, made me feel special. Loved it :)

Do not recommend. Terrible service. Experienced a lot of prejudice action and racism going on at this particular place.

My regular manicure and pedicure took 2 hours and 10 minutes. The girl worked sooo slow. She didn’t know how to file or clip toe nails. The Polish was put on thick and messily. Every toe and every nail is ruined. I have to go somewhere else to get my nails fixed! My nails were filed crooked and grainy. This was horrible. I ended up being the only person there tonight other than the girl who had her hair done. Every staff member was on their phones and very chatty. I came here to get a quick mani pedi after work and this turned into a long ordeal for no flippin reason. It’s not worth $ 18. You get what you pay for!

Got a pedicure here and although the lady was nice, it took 40 minutes just for her to cut my cuticles, I left without getting color or a manicure. As I sat in the chair I witnessed a woman gettin her hair cut and then getting her hair blow dried. She ended up complaining because they just blow dried her hair haphazardly, no diffuser just made it frizzy and messy. This place does not seem to have qualified hair stylists or manicurists. It’s pretty inside and clean but not worth it if you actually need to get quality work done. Will not go again and do not recommend it to anyone!

I would give this place 1 star, if it weren’t for the nice woman that did my pedicure. I was very excited when I saw that this place opened and I pass by it on my way to the train. You would think that Jackson Heights would have nothing but awesome nail salons being that every single woman in this hood seems to have fully manicured hands and feet at all times, but as most people know, this place is sorely lacking in businesses like the ones in Astoria that provide clean, efficient, modern beauty services for a fair price. The good: — The woman who did my pedicure did a decent job and she had a nice vibe. — The space is new, which is pleasant compared to many of the other neighborhood beauty joints.
The meh: — This place is actually not a nail salon. Like most of the businesses in Jackson Heights, this place is not content to be and actually do a few things well instead of attempting to do 100 things shoddily(I mean where else can you find a shoe repair shop/kids toy store/bodega?). Prior to my visit, I thought it was more of a mani-pedi place, but there were only two manicure stations and 1 pedicure station. There were, however, around 5 or more hairdressing chairs, so it seems like it is more geared towards that. The front for those who pass by advertise a mindboggling array of services — everything from massage to yoga to facials to haircutting to mani-pedi. That alone should tell you that it’s a bit suspect — as a place cannot offer such a diverse array of services and do it all well. — There is a very limited selection of colors to choose from. Unlike most true mani/pedi places where you’re led to a whole wall or at least a very large cabinet to choose from, this place only had a limited selection. However, they do have Essie and OPI. — I have never bled during a pedicure before, but when she cut my cuticle I bled. She also picked up the phone while she was painting my toes, but they turned out well. — They were pushy with me with regards to services. I only ever do my feet unless I have a special event, as I work with my hands. I had to repeat no less than 5 times to 2 different employees that I only wanted a pedicure, and then even then I got a small speech on one of them about how the combination is a better deal. The bad: — One pedicure station means that it gets high mileage. The owner was soaking his feet in the pedicure station before I got there. It got scrubbed down with soap, but unlike other places(even Spa Bellagio on Roosevelt) I did not see a nearby bottle of Fantastik or a bleach-type cleaner. — The tools were not not wrapped and did not even come out in the type of bin that comes out of those small disinfecting UV things with the lights you see at nail salons. They were just sitting there, and based on their positioning they looked just used. When I asked my pedicurist if they were clean, she nodded unconvincingly. Then she took the spray bottle of alcohol and sprayed them a few times, just in case, and wiped them down. The nail file she used was also old.(Honestly I should have just got up and run out at that moment!!) — After she finished my pedicure, I was not led to a drying station. I don’t know if this is because they didn’t have it or because she had just forgotten, but wtf? I realize that this is summer and I had flip flips on, but you still need a few minutes to make sure everything is a little settled before you go out onto the street. By then, I was so disappointed I just paid and left as soon as I could anyway. So, ladies — sorry to disappoint those who have(like myself) been waiting for a nice nail salon in JH, but this one is not it. The search continues…

My opinion of this place is mixed. It is very close to home for me, so I have stopped in for eyebrow threading and a massage. For the threading, the lady was kind and determined to do a good job. However, in pursuing said task, she worked too hard on one area and left me with a visible injury above my eye for the next few days. In terms of threading, there are other places in Jackson Heights that I prefer visiting. As for the massage, my therapist was friendly, but she didn’t adequately deal with the trigger points in my neck and shoulders. To be fair, I have very difficult knots that build up in my shoulders; I asked her to increase the pressure, which she did, but it was too late in the massage to really make a difference. Overall for massage, I felt better the next day, but effects were very short-lived and(I guess) equal to the price you pay. I’m overall meh for this business because I didn’t get very good vibes from the business owner. He chastised for me not having the $ 40 massage coupon and told me that the typical price is $ 50. I totally understand that, except for the fact that I was standing right next to the indoor menu, which stated that the regular 1-hr massage was $ 40. I have since walked past the business, and the outdoor menu has the(correct) $ 50 price listing. Not sure about the indoor menu. The inconsistency irked me a bit. Also, not sure about their appointment making. My massage appointment happened a week ago, and I just received a confused phone call asking me why I wasn’t there today. Mistakes happen… I get that. But it’s the little things that add up to my overall meh reaction to this place.
