Super good. From the hippy hash, pot roast hash to the waffle and omelette. All of is thoroughly enjoyed. Fun atmosphere and fresh food. Small so party of 6 or more tough. Worth the drive.

We found this place on our way from Lansing to Ann Arbor and opted to stop here instead of a chain right off the highway. It was 1000% worth the 1 mile drive to Roxy’s instead of stopping at Bob Evans. The food and people were great with plenty of personality. Stop here and you won’t regret it

Breakfast places are my weakness. Roxy’s has the old world charm and transports you back to the world of Fonzie :) The food is ok, the people are great — so enjoy the place!

I think the Roxy Café has been here since the beginning of time, and will probably be here long after the zombies come. I’ve been visiting Roxy’s since I was a wee lad, and they’ve not changed much, if any. There’s no need to. What they do works, and works well. They’re a greasy spoon diner to be sure, which is why I’m only giving them 3 stars. They’re not upscale, and certainly not a fine dining establishment. They make their own corned beef hash, which is really good. Same with the hash browns, which you can order smothered and covered if you like. Their breakfast is some of the best in town, and mornings can get pretty busy. Service is good and attentive. The waitresses would drown in this place if they didn’t know their craft. Parking is around back, and the door with the red awning is ok to use to enter the restaurant. You even get to walk through the kitchen in doing so. Don’t be shy! They really don’t mind! Nothing here is super outstanding, and yet everything I’ve had is just good food. They’re the epitope of Unilocal’s «A-Ok» rating!

The hype is real. We stopped here for the first time our first morning in Jackson for pancakes. If you’ve dined at small family cafes before and enjoyed it this place is for you. We both had the pecan cakes. Unless you are Paul Bunyan in the flesh you only need two — they’re HUGE! Service is amazing, very responsive, and you can feel that it’s a well-knit yet welcoming group of staff and regulars that welcome you in with open arms!

I’m a sucker for good sarcasm, and this place has plenty of it! From their menu to the décor, you won’t be short on laughs and conversation. We came here with my cousin who lives in the area, and really enjoyed it. We anticipated a wait, given it was a Sunday morning, but we sat within 5 mins, so that was an added bonus. I ate the«Country Benedict»(a special on the board) which was a biscuit, sausage patty, over easy egg, and a generous ladle of sausage gravy, side of home fries. Yummmm. Perfect eats after a long night and exactly what I would expect at a place like Roxy’s. Definitely recommend it, especially if you’re in from out of town looking for a good diner breakfast that isn’t one of the chains you can easily find in the Airport Rd. area!

I came here because out of the two breakfast places I found on Unilocal,my Aunt had said she like this one better. She told me she was going drive by the front so I can see the front door, but if you go in through the front, they will know you are from out of town. We drove by the front and there were a few bistro tables, all empty, fake plants and it looked like we would not have an issue getting a seat inside. We drove around to the parking lot which was located in back and I was expecting a back door opening down the hall from the dining and going in somewhere by the restrooms like many of the places around Denton/Fort Worth. My Aunt opens the back door and we walk straight into the kitchen, taking a right at the stove, left at the dishwashing station and out the swinging door to the dining area. Let me just say, when I expressed my shock as I was turning to avoid the guy flipping pancakes, the thee workers in the kitchen, knew I was from out of town. We had to wait for a table because all the tables, and counter seats were full. My Aunt expressed that we came at a good time, they were not busy.(I waited for a table, glad it wasn’t busy). We did not wait long and had a good breakfast, good service and I was entertained with reading the signs on the walls, and the signs on the ceiling. After sharing our breakfast, because we each ordered something different and had to have some Banana Split Waffle, plus they are not stingy with the bacon, we left through the kitchen as we came in.

No matter how hard you partied last night, Roxy café can cure what ails you. Absolute best breakfast in Jackson. A huge variety of food, an ever changing specials menu, fantastic staff(both front of the house and back of the house), and enough coffee pots going around the room to make sure your mug is never empty. Highly recommend the Greek hash, chili, hippie hash… hell, I have yet to find something I didn’t like here.

My friend and I, along with my four year old daughter, have been on a brunch kick lately and local diners have been our calling. today we decided on Roxy, and like many of the reviews already on here it was a fun experience! The décor and menu kept us giggling the whole time, and the food helped bring it home. I went plain Jane and ordered French toast which was as expected, delicious! While my friend ordered the Dagwood omelette, and just like the sandwich. It was huge! And as far as I could tell also delicious(since barely any was left on the plate when we left ;)) However, I think the thing that made this whole experience get the full five stars was my daughter, who’s very outspoken, asked before the waitress could even pull out her notepad if they would make her Mickey Mouse pancakes. And did they deliver! Whip cream smile, strawberry nose, blueberry eyes and all.(*Picture posted*) Her excitement was well worth the trip and I look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!

great breakfast, the BACON is so good and they really give you your money’s worth, not just 3 pieces. They are not skimpy with the portions and the prices are great. Fun place, the menu is fun to read, and there are funny signs to read all over the place. Love that the ceiling has advertisement that looks like life size business cards. The service is okay, sometimes when they are busy, it’s hard to get a refill on a drink or get the check. The staff is nice and hospitable, just that they are too busy sometimes, that’s the only thing I would say is not great.

If you’re looking for a classic place for a wonderful traditional full breakfast, this is it. It’s busy, bustling, upbeat and local. The breakfast menu has about anything you might think of and then some uniquely interesting items. Park in the back, and come through the back door and see the action in the kitchen. Unique exterior architectural accents and fun interior décor add to the experience.
