Subway

Stellar food! Super clean, Reasonable prices, fresh food and friendly staff deserves a five star review. Store is moderately busy but they always promptly greet with a smile. Love their fresh bread, fresh meats and veggies. This is my favorite spot! Lot of parking. I would recommend this if you are looking for a good sandwich place!

Subway sandwich shops are very alike. They’re a franchise with a standardized menu and ingredient distribution system. The only distinction is the staff and the environment. It’s plenty clean enough. No worries there. The staff, however, never look happy. They’re not mean but they don’t seem to enjoy their work. I can understand that working at Subway may not be as glamorous as working at NASA or Boeing but you don’t need to frown at me for your job. Smile a little. Laughter is OK.
Otherwise, the food is good as I always get from Subway.

Coming back to the Bay Area from Kirkwood, there aren’t too many eating unique options. We tried a buger stand in Pioneer going to Kirkwood so we wanted something different going home. I was all over Unilocal and found a couple of places but they were either closed so not really on our way home. Soooo…
We stopped here. It’s fast food but fresh and made to order. There was a person helping us and once we placed order for 3 sandwiches, a guy came out to help us. They were very helpful and patient as my kids tried to figure out what they wanted. So many options for their little worlds — bread, cheese.
Veggie delight, Spicy Italian and turkey & ham sandwiches. And they were so accommodating when we wanted some peppers and mustard on one half. They even labeled which half on the wrapping paper so we didn’t have to look through the sandwiches.
Clean restaurant and clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking out front.
Easy when it’s right off 88!
Will definitely stop here again. Clean, helpful, fast — perfect stop on our way home. Thanks Subway in Jackson!

Not too much I could say about this particular Subway Sandwich. Was on my way back to Bay Area on a ski bus and it is located at our dinner stop. A relatively healthy dinner choice. Quite a few kinds of breads ran out unfortunately.
Bathroom was clean. I never knew how much I would appreciate such little comfort until I was stuck on a ski bus for a few hours.
