Ok. This review is basically for the open mic on Thursday. Not even sure if it’s still going on. If not I’m upset. Bar Staff was attentive and personable. Drinks are stupid cheap if you pay attention to the specials. I didn’t the first time I was there. Drank high end vodka and paid a fair price for it. But the specials were silly cheap. I have been there for Thursday on 3 occasions and a number of things stood out for me. The PA and sound is top notch for an open mic. And above average for a live music venue in general. The talent was amazing… I asked myself over and over«this is Jackson??» I live in Nashville made a living as a writer and performer for years(wasn’t much of one so I got a «grown ass man job» a few years back. What I have heard here is top notch. The folks running the show did a great job. The audience listened and appreciated it. I actually try to schedule all my Jackson work for Thirsday afternoon and Friday morning so I can hit this place up! So great job guys well done!!! Now before ya get a big head… I stopped in in a Friday night and every dbag in Jackson was looking for a fight in there… Could have been the band playing that night drew that type of crowd so I’m pretending it didn’t happen as far as the stars go.

Without question the only true live music/performance venue between Memphis and Nashville. The food is not what you expect from a «bar». The food here is not only been voted«best bar food» but in the top 5 «best food» as far as just restaurants in general. Plenty of places to sit. 21 and up only so you know exactly what kind of people you can expect to socialize here. Smoking is allowed but we have the best air filtration systems you can get and the fact that the ceilings are 18 ft high makes cigarette smoke virtually non existent. The drink are always top notch and they always have the newest flavors to satisfy the most adventurous of imbibers. Drink specials are our special. Every night there is some sort of entertainment, whether it be a pool tournament or dart league or sometimkes we have Wii night(coming soon). Last but not least, the LIVEMUSIC! The stage, the sound system, the lights the overall atmosphere is by far the best in town. bar none. Pun intended. C’mon out and lets build a live music venue Jackson can be proud of. we call it the world’s first Fine Dive Bar… gotta see it to believe it.
