Overall a good experience and a nice property. Location is ok, it’s a bit far from center of town, and taxi rides from town costs about $ 10 each way. There is a bus that comes every half hour into town which takes about 15−20min, bus is free, but only runs until 11pm so if you stay out late, taxi is the only option. Complimentary breakfast every morning, bacon, egg, and hash browns, same stuff every day. The fruits are pretty gross and the pastries are store bought, so definitely lacking in freshness. They do have water, tea and coffee all day in the restaurant area, which is nice. There is a heated swimming pool, half indoor and half outdoor, 1 hot tub indoor and 1 hot tub outdoor. There was hardly anyone there for the 3 days we were there, so that was very nice. Our room was very spacious: 2 queen beds and a pull-out couch. Bathroom and carpets are very clean. Included in the rate are airport transfers, and daily shuttles to and from the ski lifts twice daily. The transportation is pretty standard amongst most of the hotels in town of the same star ratings. There is a nice organic grocery store a block away called Lucky’s, prices are very good and it’s a easy walk to lug groceries. Gun Barrel restaurant is right next door, so dinner is very easy. Some of the staff members are nice, and some of the staff members are mean, it’s a hit or a miss depending on the day and time.

Very nice place to stay. Breakfast in the morning is actually much nicer then the typical complimentary breakfast. Rooms are very nice and clean. We walked the first night to a local restaurant, it was very cold about 3 degrees. We really did not want to walk back. We just called the hotel and they sent a nice complimentary shuttle.

The short dark haired front desk associate should NOT be the first person working with guests, if ever with guests. She had a definite NOCARE attitude. No «hello», «welcome» or «What can I help you with?» when walking through front door… just a blank stare. After saying«I’m here to check in»(without any inquiry from her) she said with a flat emotionless response«No rooms available at this time you’ll have to wait until four». Ok, so then i asked some questions about the surrounding area…“I don’t know” response, again with no emotion. Ok… so sat down right in front of her to wait Room was ready but I had to get up to ask… she didn’t let me know. The quiet room I requested was not what i received… she actually put me in the opposite of what i asked for… right above the lobby and next to the elevator. The male front desk associate wasn’t much better… was there listening to the whole thing and never stepped in to make me feel better. The property is small, the restaurant is horrible, the Wifi is poor. The hallways are noisy. I left my «do not disturb» sign on accidentally and never received a note from housekeeping she would come back if I wanted. Never again. I’ve stayed in much better places that care about their guests… The Lexington! They are always great.

This review is geared more towards the Lounge at the Jackson Hole Lodge. It is a series of small tables which are usually taken. You can get drinks at the bar. The menu is limited to small plates so my friend Dunaway and I got the Caesar salad with the fried fish. The food was good but on the night we were there, there was only one person working this area so we waited a while to be seated, [lack of available tables] and we also waited a while to be served. The waiter explained that they were a little short staffed that night and shortly after, another server came along and things moved along. I would recommend especially if you are staying in the hotel which is great!

Booked this place based on all of the positive reviews. But I was a little concerned by the lower/negative reviews. The hotel is quite a bit away from the town square. It’s right across the street from Sidewinders and a block or so away from McDonald’s. If you blink, you might miss the turn to this hotel. It’s not on the main street and sort of hidden on a small street. I have to say that I was impressed by the layout and décor of the hotel. The check in process was simple as I came during off peak season. The hotel only has 3 stories and 1 elevator to service all of the guests. The hallway and room smelled like they sprayed it with Fabreeze. Not complaining, but it was unexpected. Walked into my kingsize bet and it was pretty big. The bathroom was pretty roomy also. The sofa was a nice touch. There’s also a keurig with 4 k-cups. You might want to inspect the water storage to make sure it’s clean. I don’t know how often it gets cleaned or if at all. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but I did see that it was a good size. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets made me feel like I was in a luxurious resort. They server a free breakfast every morning between 7am — 10am. Definitely a nice touch. This will save you at least $ 10 if you were to go out and eat. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, thick cut bacon and country potatoes. They also have breads, bagels, cereals, coffee and 4 different juices available. The food was not bad, but I wished they had the regular bacon. I like my bacon crispy. These were too thick and on the salty side. This is just me nit picking. They do provide a shuttle to take you to the town square. I believe it stops running at 11pm. Parking at the square can be a headache. It’s mostly street parking. But I did notice that there was a parking lot right on Cache St. I do have a few complaints though. The shower pressure was on the weak side. There was no way to adjust the pressure at all. The overhead shower was a nice touch, although I only used it once because the pressure was also lacking for this. The TV in my room was in zoomed/stretched mode. This is a waste of an HDTV because having the TV in zoom/stretch mode makes the shows look more like standard definition instead of high definition. I tried to change it with the remote, but it wasn’t available. My last complained was the desk area. I tried plugging in my laptop to the HDMI port, but it wouldn’t play my movies off of my laptop. I don’t know what’s the point of having that port there if you can’t use it. Overall, I would definitely come back here if I ever come back to Jackson. I don’t think you will go wrong. Not sure what others are complaining about and giving this place just a low rating.

The rooms here are clearly 5 star! Felt like I was at a Four Seasons. Love the wildlife in the lobby. Nice pool and spa area. Good location not far from the center of town. Where they go wrong is by serving food. The breakfast buffet is a cut above Holiday Inn Express. They should stop serving food in the lounge. Fish of the fish and chip is greasy and hard. I should have sent it back. The other items on the menu aren’t mind blowing. They serve out of a very small kitchen. It is almost like an after thought. They should either upgrade the food to match the excellent rooms or stop serving food altogether. Big disconnect — when your see how nice the place is you would expect better food service. Not that big of a deal as there are many dining options very close by.
