If you have not been here since Nick Wallace took over you owe it to yourself to check it out. I love everything I have tried! One of his specialties is the fried chicken. Make sure and ask how it is prepared. It is so tender and succulent I think it is the best fried chicken I have ever had. In addition to the great food you will be able to stroll through the art garden and or the museum. Two things anyone in the Metro Area need to do! Enjoy.

The menu at the Palette Café is delicious! I especially love the burger and the pork belly sandwich. As a bonus, the third Thursday pop-up menus are always original and AMAZING southern cuisine. You will never get sick of eating here.

The food here is so mediocre. My friends ordered the goat cheese melt which came with«peanut pesto.» They said it just tasted like a peanut butter sandwich. I had the lamb bacon melt which tasted like an ok club sandwich. Both times I’ve ordered salads there, they were out of my choice of dressing – once, they were out of my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices of dressing. The outside seating area is great when the weather’s nice. But otherwise, there are much better spots for good lunch food in Jackson.

Chef Lou upgraded the burger with a hand formed patty and it is AWESOME. I got the southern burger with grilled green tomatoes, applewood bacon and melted cheese. Off the hook and easily on the top of my Top 10 burger list in the Jackson area. At $ 11 with a big side(home cooked chips, or salad) it is just in the«Premium Burger» territory. It’s worth the money. Fresh and delicious. Get down there and GETFULL…
