Great food! Plentiful serving. You could tell that food is fresh and is yummy! Had the corned beef hash that came with 2 eggs, hash browns and toast– it was pretty good. My little girl was raving bout her grilled cheese– the fries that came with it tasted really great– one of the best I had so far! Don’t let this pass when in Jackson.

Friday evening. 3 tables including us. 4 people @ the bar. Service lacking. Waitress more interested in shooting the breeze with regulars than doing what shes paid to do. My shrimp dish was good, my wife wont go back. Time to wake up and serve customers.

Thomi’s Café is one of our ‘Go Too’ places for breakfast and lunch or a quick bite before going to the movies. I have never had a bad meal. The service is always great and food is prepared to order. The staff is courteous, fun and friendly. I highly recommend Thomi’s.

Thomi’s is a excellent restaurant for dining and holding events. Although their menu is a little big for my liking they have a great range of foods. For example instead of a basic house salad they have a blackened salmon, Asian chicken, a B.B.Q chicken salad and more. The décor also gives very good vibes while you visit with friends and enjoy your meal. The best time to eat there is at breakfast or lunch time. So if you eat here make sure to bring a friend and a empty stomach so you can enjoy everything to the fullest.

We come here quite often. The have a full bar and they make excellent drinks. Also have a good selection of beers. Food and service are anywhere from good to exceptional. I will continue coming here.

I wish I could leave separate reviews for breakfast and dinner. Since I can’t, I’m just going to leave an average. Breakfast — I’ve been multiple times and it is always good. A simple menu with a lot of classics. Dinner — I have only been once. I ordered the ribs after hearing great reviews about them. When they came out, I was met with disappointment. The ribs were obviously old and reheated in a microwave. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the new sauce looked like it was just squirted on top of the rack of ribs. They were flavorless and unappetizing. I won’t be back for dinner, but the breakfast has been consistently good.

Came for a late lunch on a Sunday. Seated immediately; however, the hostess could have been much friendlier. Everyone’s meal was very good. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Bacon Cheddar burger. We also had the 5 Cheese Grilled Cheese, California Tuna Melt and the Caesar Salad. The salad I wouldn’t recommend; dressing was not tossed enough which left parts of lettuce dry and it wasn’t a great Caesar dressing. Homemade blueberry muffin very good and a good size. When we drive through on our way to Central CA will definitely recommend to family and will return!

Great local place for a late lunch after a long drive. Our group ordered everything from a hamburger to turkey and dressing. It was all good.

Arrived on a Monday night about 5pm with a busy restaurant. Ordered quickly with a friendly server Paula. My dinner salad was brought out after a few minutes. After my salad was finished the fresh bread with whipped butter was served. The salmon with fresh fruit and mashed potatoes was fresh and delicious. Great food and service.

This is a cozy clean restaurant. I have been here for all three meals now. Breakfast and lunch were very good so I am keeping the four star rating I put in over a year ago but I have to share that our dinner was not acceptable. How can you ruin a turkey dinner, by not using a roast turkey and serving bland watery mashed potatoes. The turkey was like sliced deli turkey with that same taste, honest! I was shocked that a pleasant café would serve a meal like this. The server never came to our table and asked us it all was well nor did she question why I didn’t eat my dinner, not good. I’ve often wondered why the parking lot is always full at breakfast and lunch but hardly any cars at dinner time, now I know why.

Arrived at around 1PM on a Sunday. The place was fairly busy but we were seated right away. This place has sort of a diner vibe, and seems to be a favorite with the locals. I ordered a Franks Fatburger with fries. The burger was very good but the fries were world class.(For some reason most restaurants don’t understand that fries should be crispy brown on the outside, not the greasy, limp soft white mess that usually graces a plate.) Whoever works that fry basket really knows his or her stuff! Wife had an omelet which was excellent. Portions are big, but not huge. Why not 5 stars? As others have noted the service was pretty slow. It took nearly 20 minutes for the food to arrive, then it took another 10 minutes from the time the check was delivered before it was picked up. That said, I’d go back… just for the fries.

Went to Thomi’s for brekfast this morning… when my husband and I got there we were immediatey seated and brought coffe and water. Upon ordering our waitress was friendly and attentive… knowledgable about the menu. The food came out reasonably fast and was hot and well presented. It was as good or better then it looked! We loved it! Would recommend to anyone visiting or living in or nearby Jackson CA! :)

One of the healthiest restaurants in Jackson. We eat here a lot and they can prepare allergy special meals. My son orders the steak and always love it. They have fresh, big salads and many home comfort type meals. Our favorite has always been the potato skins but they recently changed them to be clumps of potato squares with cheese melted on top which is a cheap, lazy version of skins. There is also a full bar, baked goodies, desserts, homemade soups, outside dining, great parking and full menu with specialty breakfast selection. Great place to bring children or a group. Lots of the local kids go here before school dances. They do have holiday specials but I recommend making reservation or checking on wait time for food. We waited over an hour on a holiday once.

We had a really lovely meal here today! Unilocal told us it was on the wrong side of the freeway(near the Denny’s) but it was not– it was on the CVS side! Double check on google instead of relying on Unilocal. We came in for lunch and there was plenty of seating. The restaurant looked clean and had some retro tunes playing– Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and some later stuff like James Taylor. The hostess was friendly and brought our drinks right away. We had wonderful service, not only from our waitress, but from others who would check in and even refill waters. The restrooms were also very clean. They had a great selection for lunch and served breakfast until 4 or 4:30. I liked that most of their burgers and fries came with so many choices of sides from onion rings, to fries, to a side salad or coleslaw or more. The prices were fair as well from 8 – 12 for sandwiches and salads and about the same for lunch. I got to watch a lot of people get their meals while we waited for ours and everything looked so good! My husband ordered the country breakfast I think– I tried his biscuit and gravy and it was so yummy. He also enjoyed his hash browns, eggs, and bacon. I ordered the bbq chicken salad and loved it! I asked for modifications– the chicken was warmed up at my request and they left off the tortilla strips and put the bbq sauce on the side– all with a smile. The bbq sauce tasted a bit like bullseye but the ranch was great and the salad tasted pretty fresh. Plus there was just a ton of it! I ate so much. The salads come with a muffin or cheesy bread and though I was bummed they were out of blueberry muffins their carrot and nut muffin was pretty good and really big. Unfortunately it was a bit over done but I still enjoyed it. We’ll be back next time we venture to Jackson.
