I rated them a 5 when I had AL come to service on a weekend when the condensor on the heater went out. Well We had maintanance done on our AC and let me preface this review with Abaco is no different than any other company AC or not in that the gentleman that came out advised I needed a new Motor Run condenser on my unit and quoted me $ 160.
I let him know dont quote me $ 160 and then go on Graingers web site and find out like Tropic Aire that the part will be around $ 13 or why would I use them again?
Well after he leaves I go straight to GRaingers web site and Behold it is $ 13and some change. Why do companies have to screw you.
For goodness sakes you there charge me $ 100 bucks for your expertise and then Double on the part but $ 14 item and charge me $ 160. I am sure that is the way business is done but what the customer needs is someone who does business differently.
Step forward Abaco, I knwo on the short side of things you may take a hit but on the long run you will get life time customers. One other thing if you are doing this same billing to the elderly and down trodden of Jax, WOW! Unfortunately if I have to re-​rate you due to inconsistency in service and pricing it will not be good apperance wise. have a set pricing list you can show customers. The more internet savvy customers become the more they will check prices online.
