Onion rings were spectacular! Crunchy with just enough salt. Burgers were tasty too! Thoroughly enjoyed the root beer float which was light and bubbly with so much enjoyment.

I’ve tried Burgerfi twice and it’s good. This time I tried the BURGERFI sauce with my Cajun fries… OUTSTANDING! Also, the cashier was very friendly and helped me pick out a beer, which I liked very much. I had the breakfast burger(fried egg, hashbrowns and syrup) and it was delicious. Not the best burger I’ve ever had, but very good.

We were kinda bummed with our meal here. It’s the first burger place I’ve been to that the hot dogs were way better. Kobe«style» dog isn’t worth it by the way. They have to cook the burgers well done and they are so thin it’s like eating a bite of burnt cardboard. It’s all about the toppings here, which are«okay». They literally had a ¼ teaspoon of Peter Luger sauce which is the only thing we were looking forward to. Wine was gross but I’m probably one of the only people that drinks wine and not beer at a place like this. Super cheap selection, not comparable to their«craft beer» concept… I wish there were more impressive wines. Pretty cool soda machines and branding marks on the buns. Not worth it to get the«large» order of onion rings for .60 extra, they are huge and not great. Maybe we needed to add a topping. Overall a bummer…

Over priced, small burgers, very loud, limited seating inside and out, crowded, imitation of Five Guys in a Yuppie kind of way. Plain double burger, regular fry and drink equals 15 dollars.

This was my first time eating at this establishment I tried their double cheeseburger and it was awesome! It was so good I had to go back and get another one 15 minutes later! The customer service was great and I will be here every week. The manager who was on duty at the time of my visit is full of energy and enthusiasm and I like that very much! #MyNewFavoriteBurgerPlace #BurgerfiRocks! WHOO!!!

I was apprehensive as my partner dragged me here after the riverwalk. I was pleased with the easy to read menus located on HD flat screens behind the counter. The staff was pleasant, asked if it was our first time, and gave us a quick run down. Opted for The Conflicted Burger, a double patty burger, one being beef and the other veggie. The locator beacon system, which allows staff to bring food to your table once you sit down, is interesting and seems innovative. The burger was delicious and the combination of patties creative. The burger was a little smaller than I expected, but in reality it was closer to a real proportion size. I felt full, not stuffed, when I was done with my meal. Highly recommend the hand-cut fries. I like to pour malt vinegar over mine, salty and sour blend well. The price will prevent me from coming here often. But I am looking forward to my next visit and would recommend friends give it a try. My only complaint, please provide your staff their own restroom and breakroom. I had to wait 10min to use the restroom because an employee was changing to start his shift. There was also a young woman taking her break in the back corner of the dining room. I’d rather not see staff while they are on break, nor do they want to see me.

Not sure what is with the low rating, I’m obsessed with this place and have often referred to this place as «life changing.» It is almost identical to that of Shake Shack(not to be confused with Steak and Shake) and is nothing short of amazing! I get the single patty cheese burger with Burgerfi sauce, grilled onions, and jalapeños — it is fantastic! Key is the Burgerfi sauce! As for fries, I at first was unamazed by the parmesan & herb fries, but recently tried the«alternative style» fries, which are the same as In & Out Burger animal style fries(mustard, grilled onions, fry sauce, and melted cheese)! Omg amazing! Definitely go with the classic alternative style fries and single patty BurgerFi burger for an amazing experience and it will blow your mind! Haven’t tried the custard, but it looks delicious. The service has also been nothing less than really good.

No bueno. The cashier was very confused by my order, which I nicely repeated 3x just in case. Cashier was friendly, just massively confused by my simple takeout cheeseburger. I ended up with a cold, plain double burger missing cheese, pickles, etc. Here’s a pic of the nasty limp smidge of lettuce.(I normally order their«green style» at a different BurgerFi location, which substitutes bun with crispy iceberg lettuce, so was expecting at least some decent lettuce at this restaurant. Nope.) Dinner took too long and cost too much for the quality. I’ll drive the extra way to The Loop next time. :( At least the ice cream’s good.

I love a good burger and BurgerFi does it for me each time. The Riverside spot is cool. A friendly staff and great patio seating. The concert ice cream is a must have. Gotta try this place.

My boyfriend made a point to try this place out because we loved the look of it. The color scheme and atmosphere was great, including the music. However, the food was what made us decide we probably wouldn’t come back. My boyfriend got the Twenty-eight, which is supposed to be 28 day aged beef. His burger was overcooked and all of the flavor was masked with blue cheese sauce. The burger looked like something ordered off the dollar menu from a fast food restaurant. Honestly, a regular Whopper from Burger King is a better bet. I had the Vienna Dog, plain, and it was good. No complaints. He and I also shared the Cry and Fry and the onion rings were delicious. The fries definitely weren’t any different than hand cut fries from Wendy’s. I would only ever come back to this place for beer and onion rings.

I had a bad taste in my mouth even BEFORE we got our food. After I sat down at the table my husband had saved, I was startled when a server flew by and rudely threw down the pager in the middle of the table like she was angry at us. She said in one long impatient sentence, «If you don’t put the pager in the center we can’t find you!» My husband had no idea. It was both our first time there and the napkin holder was covering up the sign on the table to do so. Earlier when he was waiting to order the same employee snapped at him, «Can you keep this area clear. We need to get by.» We have both worked in the food industry for years. There are MANY ways of communicating your needs to the customer — that tone of voice and throwing things at my table does NOT make me feel welcome. When we got our food I was of the opinion it was like a better packaged Burger King but 3 times as expensive. The fries were alright. I liked the toppings of the herb and Parmesan but the fries tasted extra mushy in the middle. We ordered the Breakfast Burger and the Cheeseburger. Nothing special about either of them. I think if you dip enough ketchup on it you can make any burger taste decently. Someone briefly stopped at our table to ask how the food was. She vanished as soon as I said, «Not bad.» It’s true. The food was not bad. But we both regretted not going to Blind Rabbit or MShack afterwards. That being said, such a rude encounter is SUPER rare when eating in Riverside area.

We came here on a «not cooking» night. We had a taste for a good Burger and this place did not disappoint. The burgers were nice and juicy and the fries nice and hot. Service a nice and prompt. I had the build your own burger with cheese, bacon and usual toppings. I’m a fan of this place and will be back.

I’m so happy I finally came here. I ordered the standard double cheeseburger, red velvet shake, and cry and fry done up with the urban seasoning. The burger was cooked perfect and I didn’t have to wait too long like other places I previously visited. The shake was sweet and not too thick. The urban style for the fries had parmesan cheese and garlic aioli which was a terrific twist and it was delicious. The onion rings are gigantic and very crispy. The staff was friendly and made my experience satisfying.

Good burgers. Get the Cry and Fry. Mix of onion rings and fries. Service is good. But pretty expensive for a burger. Last time I was there, the cry and fry, burger and soda cost me over $ 16. I was sharing, but still pretty expensive. Good location, nice big outside area when not too hot.

This is a really cute place with an awesome patio for dining outside. The employees were average for the area: young, bored and vaguely confused, but not rude. I had the BurgerFi cheeseburger and my husband had the American Kobe hot dog(Texas style — chili, hot sauce and cheese) and we split a Cry & Fry(Urban style — parmesan, herbs, etc.). Everything was delicious, hot and freshly made. The onion rings were the thickest I’ve ever had, but were very tender and the batter was light and crisp. We split a medium chocolate/vanilla swirl custard for dessert(rather underwhelming, I wasn’t impressed). My only«complaint» is the high prices of everything. Even with just the two of us, splitting a side and dessert(and no alcohol), it was more than I expected(over $ 30). Would I come back? Most likely not, since we have a locally owned burger place that is very similar just down the road that I’d much rather spend money at.

A burger place close to my work! Thank goodness. This place is a little bigger than the other one. I will say that everything is ordered individually so there’s not really a «combo». It is more expensive than normal because their website states that they’re more natural. Supposedly, they don’t use freezers, heaters or microwaves and their cattle roams free. I guess you can say it’s like you’re buying organic beef? But anyways, I had a coupon for free fries with a purchase of a burger & drink. I was with a coworker and she only wanted the fries and drink so in total it was $ 15(2 drinks and a burger, fries were free). I got the regular BurgerFi burger. Very juicy and good. Fries came out hot and crispy. I enjoyed it, however I’ll only come here if I really want a burger for lunch. About $ 6.50 for a burger cost just as much as a combo meal at a fast food restaurant with fries, drink, and a burger. Just keep in mind when you come here, you’re paying for the quality and not the quantity.

If you like burgers than this place is for you. The custard and fries are not bad either. Much better taste than the TownCenter location. The burger is still, a little too greasy for me. I would say try if burgers are your thing but pass if you are in the mood for any other kind of dish. Near to my office so I might go back again next year.

BurgerFi Order: Cheeseburger, VegeFi burger, onion rings, and a coffee mocha shake Price: $ 24 Pros: High quality beef, pricing, outdoors seating, fry toppings Cons: Fry toppings could get expensive fast, water cup sizes, shakes are a little on the sweet side Thoughts: This is about to be my go to the top of my cheap burger places list. I got the cheeseburger and it was delicious. They use the thinner patties here but they weren’t so thin that they lost their juiciness, and the cheese didn’t overwhelm the burger. They also have an absurd number of add ons if you are looking to customize the burger a bit. My wife got the Veggie burger and while I’m not really a fan of vegetarian substitutes for hamburgers it actually was quite good. The other two items were ordered were just«ok», the onion rings were a little greasy and there were only 5 of them for about $ 4 so it wasn’t a very good deal. While some other people might might the shakes good I personally found it too sweet for my tastes(but I tend to prefer things with a little less sugar). One neat thing they let you do was to add a large variety of toppings to your fries. This is an really cool concept but as you have to pay for each topping it could also get really expensive quite quickly. While there were a few things I think they could improve on they do one thing exceptionally well. They knock it out of the park with their burgers, enough so that if I ever want a burger this is where I plan on going.

First time at BurgerFi and I built my own burger. I really like the idea of having lettuce leaves as the bun for my burger. I had the double burger with a fried egg, bacon, tomatoes and pickles. It was so so good. I think I might have inhaled the whole thing. We went during lunch and it was crowded and it seemed like the AC wasn’t working so I tried not to move to fast while eating my burger. Overall this is a place I will return to. I’m looking forward to tying the kobe beef hot dog New York Style.

Have been twice in the first week and have to say, I’m a fan. Great addition to the neighborhood. The space is fun(love the outside covered patio and garage doors that go up when the weather cooperates) and modern, and the food is cheap and tasty. Three of us ate dinner for under $ 30 total(1 beer**, 1 dessert ‘concrete’, two burgers, veggie burger, order of fries that we shared) — very reasonably priced. Order and pay, then grab a seat. I’ve had the build-your-own burger, which I had double patties(not greasy at all, contrary to what another reviewer mentioned) with fried egg, lettuce, tomato, mustard and jalapenos, the quinoa/veggie burger(two thumbs up, but I ask for it on the signature squishy potato roll vs. the multi-grain roll it comes on), onion rings(we loved them! they’re huge and the batter is delicious — they disappeared quickly!), hand-cut fries(you can ask for crispy or limp, depending on your preference) and the brownie ‘concrete’: an amazing dessert concoction made up of frozen chocolate custard, peanut butter, brownie bits and chocolate sprinkles. It’s a convenient location for lunch and the vibe is laid back and casual. **Bonus points for: local beer! Bold City Duke’s on draft and Intuition/Bold City cans(Jon Boat & I-10 from IAW& Bold City’s Killer Whale)
