If possible to give zero stars I would! This location is so inconsistent with the sandwiches being good and then bad, and you never know which you will get that day. Today was my last visit to this location ever! 1) Snooty attitudes 2) Burnt Bacon 3) Forgot onions 4) Forgot pickle 5) Gave me the wrong dressing. 6) Soggy bread How can you mess up so many things on one sandwich???

Always love going inside to eat at Firehouse Subs! Not only are the subs delicious but the employees there are so nice! Especially the gentleman that bring you your food. He’s always asking if you need anything else and offering to clear your table for you! Much better than the other sandwich shops!

Firehouse Subs 9825 San Jose Blvd. Jacksonville Fl. 32257 Cleanliness: 5 Stars The tables are clean, the windows are clean, the floor is clean, the area where you get the napkins, the straws, and the drinks are all clean, and so are the self serve bottles of hot sauces. Service: 5 Stars The service that I have received at this location has always been terrific; I have never had a single complaint. Food: 2 Stars I really want to like these sub sandwiches, but, «I JUSTDON’T.» The different subs that I have tried here have all been«WAY To SALTY.» I have yet to eat more than ½ of any sub that I have ordered from here; I just can’t take the saltiness, and unfortunately, in the trash the rest of the sub goes! Conclusion: Of course I will try Firehouse Subs again. I will try a different sub like I always have before, and I hope to report back, «Awesome Sub,» Finally! Update: 4 Stars 10-09-2015, I just ate at Firehouse Subs again; finally I was able to eat a sub that wasn’t so salty that I had to toss it, I will be going back again!

Fire house subs always good stuff… good place to pop in for lunch. the subs are steamed I think so the bread is never too hard. I do have to say I like the meatball sub here its pretty good… also love the cherry limeade with a lot of limes! :)

«Welcome to Firehouse Suuuuubs» comes right at you as you walk in. Smiling faces and busy workers all working hard. The cashier was very sweet and polite. I can say this was friendly service. The tables were all freshly wiped clean when I sat down to wait for my sandwich and the floors were clean. Overall, I’m happy with the cleanliness of this establishment because some places don’t always take pride. I thought it was great to see the manager right behind the counter making sandwiches and overlooking his employees to ensure they were doing the right thing. Great décor and it really had a firehouse feel and look to it. Where are the sexy firemen though? Hmmm. Kind of missing the sexy firefighters… never mind. Haha. This is a family company. One thing was the girl got my name wrong, so I didn’t know when my sandwich was up, but my sandwich was yummy and the service was still Good, overall.

Had lunch today and had the Sub on a salad option. The turkey and cheese were heated on top of the fresh greens. I’d still prefer a fully involved Hook & Ladder or Hero, but have to cut calories to make up for Memorial Day weekend overeating. The service was great as usual.

Friendly service, good subs with not-too-hard and not-too-soft bread(a plus in my book), in a comfy fast-casual environment and the King’s Hawaiian pulled pork and slaw sandwich will rock your world. Seriously. Delicious! Second best is the smokehouse beef brisket and cheese sub. So good and the meat is quality product that’s been smoked for hours. I met the owners recently who explained the process. I don’t drink soda but for soda lovers, Firehouse offers the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine which serves up 100+ flavor mixes. You can mix orange soda with Diet Coke or add flavored waters together to create a new flavor. Great for kids. The endless hot sauce options, including Captain Sorensen’s datil sauce, are a great addition to Firehouse. There are mild varieties and super hot choices for the extra-daring sub-goers.

The people at this location gave some dirty looks to asian customers and did not seem to want to cooperate. Honestly, I’m not going to flat out say that these people are racist, but I’ve never experienced being treated like this at a Firehouse Subs location until now. The same great food, with not so great attitudes. I just can’t believe it.
