I got ripped off big time. These are sales people only. Wanted to return a creams I could not use on my neck. Nope. I paid close to 2k for hyperpigmentation zaps. It was $ 451 a plane ticket home for the Obagi set. A lady I see now says that’s unheard of. She would kindly refund something that wasn’t working out. So ticked off. Before and after photos? No.

Be wary of this money motivated«spa». The spa manager, Stephanie, tried to up sell me on services I didn’t need or want. After I tried to politely decline, her attitude did a 180 and I felt very insignificant. It’s even more unfortunate that this«office manager» resorts to posting reviews about herself under the fake Unilocal name Stacee Z. Maybe instead of spending time lying about how wonderful you are in fake reviews, spend more time improving the business. There’s a reason REAL customers are leaving less than desirable reviews. It’s insulting as a past patron and a Unilocal-er that you’d think no one would notice.

I agree with Erica & Sandrina. I didn’t appreciate the hard sell immediately upon walking in the door. I understand the why and everything but earn my business a little first. Plus people go to a spa to relax and get refreshed not pressured. I didn’t even go back for the 2nd sitting I had purchased. Nice place & outwardly nice people.

Went for a dermaplane treatment. Spent 45 min w Corrinn, whose first duty was to offer me a glass of wine, despite all online recommendations by MDs that a client not drink any alcohol prior to treatment(something which I did share with her). She took pictures of my face that supposedly showed melasma, deep tissue scarring, and very enlarged nose pores, as well as bacteria. After asking me what my major concerns were(upper lip and chin hair, pregnancy mask, and acne scarring), she informed me that I would need laser resurfacing treatment and medical grade products(ie 4% hydroquinone for skin brightening). Nonetheless she said that the dermaplane treatment for which I was there would be beneficial. She then presented me with a price list of options(including BOGO and a 20% first time visit discount) at a minimum price of $ 2500 for 12 treatments(not sure what kind) and asked what I could afford towards the offer, since I had already stated that I did not have access to that kind of money. She then sent me to an aesthetician who stated that she had not seen my photos but had so much experience that she didn’t need to, who used a «3.5 in. scalpel» to scrape away dead skin. I asked if she was going to do my whole face, so that the hair removal would be even. She replied that the technique wouldn’t «grab all the hairs», and«no» only the areas that she could see needed it.(Hello, if you’re going to shave my face, shouldn’t it be an even shave?) While this office may offer sub– medical grade treatments, their apparent ultimate goal is to sell outrageously priced treatments and products that I, as a client, didn’t need and couldn’t afford. There was no coordination between my intake interview and the aesthetician who performed the sub-par treatment, or regard for the relevance of what I was looking for.

I bought a groupon for IPL. When I got there I got the hard sell to purchase a package of IPL after they showed me a skin analysis. When I declined the package the woman left the room and said the technician would get me in a moment. When the technician opened the door she said«are you ready for your microdermabrasion?» I informed her that I was there for IPL and she gave me a confused look and then told me she was going to check. When she came back she said ok your getting IPL. While in the room she kept asking me if I was going to sign up for a package and I told her I had to think about it. I have had IPL in the past by an actual doctor and I had great results after one treatment but the treatment did hurt. This treatment did not hurt at all as she didn’t even touch my face with the wand. I had no results from this treatment and believe that the technician doesn’t know how to properly do this procedure or she purposefully did it incorrect since I didn’t sign up for a package. I also believe that the«mistake» of the microdermabrasion was really an attempt to give me a less costly treatment. I did not appreciate their hard sell practices and if they performed the exams as they should then their packages would sell themselves.

Hubby and I did a romantic microdermabrasion together. Afterwards, we marveled at how great our skin looked. Our aesthetician really loved banishing blemishes. She extracted with such gusto that it was hard not to share her enthusiasm even though it hurt like heck. It was worth it. Love the Laser Loft.

The staff at Laser Loft are professional, friendly and knowledgable. I had a photofacial and laser treatment two weeks ago and a microdermabrasion today. The atmosphere is soothing and it smells wonderful when you walk in! I went to Laser loft off of a Groupon Coupon and was so impressed that I signed up for a monthly treatment program. The prices are reasonable so why not treat myself! Can’t wait until next month!

2.2.15 — HORRIBLE! Came in via Groupon for a service«Worth $ 500, offered at $ 45». Doubtful but continued. After signing in, waited 10 minutes to be seen. Shuttled into sales office to be advised the entire procedure actually takes 5 more treatments. With that day’s discount, cost is approximately $ 480. If not purchased, services were approximately $ 800. Had to sign contract before getting my purchased service. When I told Mia I was unable to pay until the next appointment(next week,) they ripped up the contract and I waited another 10 minutes to be seen. The tech was the only friendly, educated person there. She convinced me to move forward with services As I checked out, I asked Mia to schedule my follow up appointment. She said I can’t come again unless I purchase a package in advance! That’s right ladies, if you’re not with your c.c. the day you’re there, Mia won’t schedule your next appointment! NEVER have I been treated so poorly for paying for a service that is falsely advertised. If I treated my Clients as Laser Loft did me, I’d be what they will be: OUTOFBUSINESS! I’m contacting BBB.

I’ve been wanting to get microdermabrasion done and my friend recently told me about a groupon she purchased for a micro session from Laser loft so I went ahead and gave it a shot. I called Laser loft that Monday after I purchased my groupon and was booked for that coming Thursday. The staff is super friendly and the establishment is welcoming and clean. My first micro session was ok, they were busy so I guess thats how the boat floats. My second micro session was great. I felt like the second session was signifigantly longer and more thoroughly. Idk if it was because it was less busy that day or because that was the last session on my groupon on and they wanted me to sign up for a membership. Either way it goes I signed up and hopefully my next session is just as good as the last one.

Great staff, great service, and great laser hair removal. I’ve been to three different laser hair removal places and this one is by far the cleanest, and most effective lasers. Some of their packages may be slightly higher priced then other med spas, but it’s because the technology they use is top of the line. I totally recommend them!

I’m usually hesitant to buy these services from groupon because groupon has routinely failed me when it comes to spa type services, but this place was amazing. It’s relatively new and everything inside is very clean and modern. They have great technology that aids with the services they give. I met three people that work there and they were all very nice and accommodating. The ladies that do the treatments have flawless skin. I’m pointing that out because I felt like that’s a representation of their level of expertise. The prices were, I think, priced in accordance with standard prices for the services they provided. Not really affordable for the every day average wage worker, but not totally out of reach. The only thing I don’t understand is having to leave a tip. Tipping is usually for workers that make below minimum wage that rely on tips as their main source of income. I don’t think that’s the case here. You don’t have to leave a tip, but you feel pressured to because of the way their check out system is set up. Honestly, when you’re paying for a service that costs between $ 150-$ 200, 18% tip is a lot, especially if they make significantly more an hour than minimum wage. It’s a professional service, so to me, it’s like going to my doctors office and giving the nurse a tip for drawing my blood. Other than that little wrinkle, which I’m sure isn’t exclusive to this spa, everything was wonderful. I definitely recommend going there and will probably go again.

A weird, random number kept on showing up on my phone… so one day, I answered. It was Laser Loft and they were offering a free organic spray tan. I asked about the catch, no catch they promised, so went ahead and scheduled an appt. for the very next day. Laser Loft is a new type of med spa, located on Southside Blvd. in the same plaza as Cookies by Design. Parking is tight, but the lot directly behind Aroma’s usually has parking available during the day. I walked in and was greeted by two Lauren’s, and taken back to the room to start the process. Lauren was super sweet, went over the prep process again and asked what type of color I was looking for.(Just not orange… hehe!) She then left so I could strip down, and was back and the process started. She added a few drops of scented oil, so the tan had a amazing coconut/vanilla scent!(How did she know that is my signature fragrance?!) It’s all completed pretty quickly, probably about 30 minutes in all, including dry time.(Dry time… super important!) She explained to me that there would be some spotting, but not to worry, it would wash away in the shower. I went ahead and left it on over night, and was super concerned about the splotches on my feet… but, as she said, they went away, no problem! I did have a bit of tan on the bottom of my feet and palms, but I may have not lotioned them up enough, so not a biggie. I figured since this was a free service, I’d get a hard sell on some of the products they offer, but nope, just one mention of the extending lotion and when I declined, end of story. Not even an arm wrestle for scheduling a follow up appointment.(Nice.) So as I was leaving, I did ask why I was so special and got this free treatment… and they let me know they are offering the first tan for free to EVERYONE and to tell my friends! So here ya go Yeeps, call Laser Loft if you are looking for a nice organic(and cancer free tan) to start your summer right! The entire staff was super sweet! They also offer a ton of other services, including botox, dysport, IPL’s laser hair removal, microderms, facials, etc. It only«looks» like I just got back from vacation… ;)

Bought a Groupon for three laser tattoo removal sessions. Such a steal! This place is right down the street from my house and open until 6 so I can get in an appointment right after work at 5:15 with no issues. They just opened and seem to still be getting into the routine of things but they were all super friendly and my consultation and treatment were completed in less than 45 minutes. The interior was tastefully decorated and everything was clean and sterile. The PA who did my treatment actually changed gloves before starting the treatment, after taking the photo and having organized her materials. The price without a Groupon is $ 100/session for a small tattoo which is comparable to other places I have visited. If I purchase a package they mentioned being able to get an even better price which is awesome. I’m going to see how far the three sessions I have will get me and make sure I’m still in Jacksonville before deciding on purchasing any additional treatments. The time in-between each session is 6 weeks so with 3 treatments that takes me to the beginning of August as it is. If you have any med-spa/laser needs this place is highly recommended!
