I read many of the reviews here unfortunately AFTER trying that place, and the one that looks the most like what I experienced, quoting user Jose A. below: «Pros: Maybe the fact that it was empty at peak lunch time Cons: Should have understood that the only pro meant it would be bad.» This is so true. Ordered to-go there tonight. There was a voice in my head telling: Why is the place so empty? Why don’t I even see the clean-dressed sushi guy behind a clean counter like in all other places? And the other telltale, it was HARD to find anything in the specialty sushi rolls that didn’t feature either cream cheese or «Krab,» which shows a lack of love of sushi and creativity… That, combined with the rest, should have told me to run away, but I was hungry and somehow, the bell did not read in my mind. My 3 «different» rolls all tasted the same: «nothing.» And the rice felt dry. Even the soy sauce was bizarre, with a somewhat sweet spice taste or something that had nothing to do with normal sushi soy sauce. And the mayonnaise sauce was too sweet too. Oh boy, what a disappointing experience! I had none of the pleasure that should come with the freshness and refined taste of sushi. The only positive is the avocado slices on the roll, they were nice. But with the rest in mind, I will absolutely never return.

Went today for a late and quiet lunch. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered a rainbow roll as an appetizer and had hibachi chicken as well. Everything tasted good and was presented quickly and nicely. Price is reasonable and it is near a business park that I frequently have to be so I will return.

I ordered Chicken & Shrimp Hibachi To Go for lunch. Chicken taste freezer burnt. Veggies seemed old. Rice taste and looks like it’s pre-made and kept warm in a rice cooker. It wasn’t good to me at all. Don’t get it. I have had a roll of sushi here before. It’s okay. I prefer other sushi restaurants near by and with same price ranges(closer to Tinseltown).

Only ordered delivery here using seamless app. My food got here much faster than it said it was going to take both times. The sushi is extremely good in my opinion. Also had the gyoza and clear soup. They steamed the gyoza as requested, and the ponzu sauce was very good as well. Clear soup is what you would expect. Only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because the fried rice was not like what you would get at different habachi restaurants. It’s not bad though, I think it’s just put together a little different. So if you are wanting a specific fried rice it might not be the type you are expecting. But all in all if you are looking for yummy sushi and don’t want to drive anywhere, this is the place to go. Very fast, very friendly, very tasty.

The sushi is pretty good but nothing really special about this place. The spicy tuna and spicy scallop sushi is really spicy, and that is actually a good thing. I was not crazy about the fake Krab sticks in the dynamite roll and they were missing some green, like asparagus. Clearly most orders here are to go as the wait for to go orders was rather long, but the restaurant itself was nearly empty. They also offer delivery which is really convenient, so next time I was some sushi and do not want to go out, I would probably give them a call.

BESTSUSHIINJAX! Believe me! Much better than that Yashi place in Deerwood. Ninja Sushi has better prices too! Rock n Roll and Crazy Tuna is to die for. Plus! The ppl are so nice! They’re not getting the credit they deserve. Awesome food. Hibachi too.

Love this family owned sushi bar! We go there at least twice a week. love everything on the menu and their attention to detail in their presentation and quality of ingredients. Also, their prices are very hard to beat.

My husband and I have never sat down and ate at the place but their to-go is really good plus their spicy tuna roll is on point. The only thing I am not happy about is their clear soup it’s very oily from the fried bits and sort of bland. Their miso soup is pretty good… The best thing for us is the to go hibachi entrée! It never disappointed us. I am a asian and I think their hibachi vegetable is delicious than most hibachi places… only thing is the steak can be a little on the tougher side but for the price you pay it’s excellent! Ps– they always have $ 5 coupon on their to go menu.

Decent food. I had miso soup, salad, tuna avocado rolls, and snow crab rolls. They were all acceptable, and better than some places I have been. I found the wasabi a little weak.

Nothing fancy, but still good! I like coming in for lunch because I work nearby. You can snag 2 or 3 rolls for cheap and you get soup or a salad with them. It’s affordable and quick to get in and out. Parking is horrible because of all the office folks nearby and the other restaurants but that’s not their fault. I haven’t tried anything but Sushi so I can’t say for the other stuff. I’ll keep coming back for lunches when I want to go out and splurge.

Disappointed. Never going back again. Pros: Maybe the fact that it was empty at peak lunch time Cons: Should have understood that the only pro meant it would be bad. Waited at the table for 10 minutes before being handed the menu which had the prices all mocked up with a pen. The Bento Box — Sushi only comes with a soup(or) salad and not both which has become the norm at all other restaurants in the area. The soup arrived hot… But arrived after 15 minutes of further waiting. The quality deserves special mention as it was abysmal… The photo has the piece of sushi that l didn’t dare touch it after the quality if the tuna and salmon and especially the makizushi was not rolled well, falling on contact and not even rolled to completion. The long wait times, disappointing food and small portions of meat made this a truly disappointing experience.

I ordered sushi from this place, and they made the worst mistake ever, at least to me… NOSOYSAUCE!!! I am quarter Japanese, I grew up with soy sauce on everything… that is a big no no! The food may have tasted better to me if I had it. It is not the best that I have had!

A lunch date with my husband brought me into this unassuming spot in a strip mall on Belfort Road. He works nearby, and he tells me that it is always a madhouse in the parking lot, vying for parking spaces with the other local worker bees. Inside, a calm atmosphere welcomed us. Lunch specials are a good value, and you can choose sushi, bento boxes with teriyaki or hibachi plates. We chose the bento box containing beef teriyaki, fried rice, two fried dumplings and five California rolls for $ 8.95. Our server was very helpful and courteous, and offered to switch my California rolls which contained imitation crab(that seemed atypical, but I’m no expert) with vegetarian rolls containing only cucumber and avocado. I explained that I have a fish allergy, and most imitation crab products contain fish. We were both pleased with the taste, quality and quantity of our food. My husband commented that on previous visits, he ordered a sushi platter and left feeling hungry. Not so today; he was too full to finish off my last California roll. This was a good spot for a quick but tasteful lunch.

This is the best sushi I have ever had. My husband and I have been trying to find comparable sushi for almost a year now and can not find anything better! Amazing food and service! This is the main reason I miss Florida!

Ninja Express Sushi is my local favorite. Feng, the sushi chef owner studied under a master in NYC for many years and it shows. I am never disappointed when I take friends and family. Try going on Saturday or Sunday for a BOGO special.

Nothing terrible, but nothing to make it worth returning. Ok environment, ok service, ok prices. The ginger dressing on the salad just wasn’t to my liking. The snow crab sushi roll was alright, but the«smoked salmon» roll I requested instead had pinkish grey«cooked salmon» in big globs and was inedible. The shrimp sauce was not the right color or flavor. For a lunch special and a coke I spent almost $ 14 before tip. I will go to Crazy Sushi right up the road in the future for much better food at comparable prices.

If you haven’t figured from my past reviews… I love sushi, and I love good sushi with healthy portions. I stumbled upon this place because I noticed a sign«Saturday and Sunday only — Buy one sushi roll and get one free» so, I was really hungry, and I gave it a try. I ordered 4 different rolls(all of them had tuna as a main ingredients) and to my surprise it was pretty darn good. I even had left-overs for dinner. They were not shy with putting enough tuna in a roll where I can actually tell that I am eating tuna instead of bunch of spices. The place is nothing fancy(I ordered«to go») but everyone working there was nice and polite towards me. They will definitely have me as a customer again.
