The Pub at Celebration Liquors

We absolutely love the Pub! We don’t go there often, maybe a few times a month over the course of the last few years and the bartenders knew our favorite drink (vodka and diet coke) within two visits. Bartenders are amazing, drinks are perfect, prices spot on, and bathrooms are always clean and tidy. Love, love, love the pub and the people who gather to shoot darts. Such a great mix — perfect crowd :-)

The pub is your standard, laid-​back bar. It’s a big place with a lot to do. The pool tables are pretty nice (3 of them) and they cost $ 1 per game. They also have 2 dart boards if that’s your thing. There is plenty of seating and plenty of TV’s to watch. The bartenders I’ve had have always been nice and attentive. If I’m looking to stay on the towney side, the Pub is a nice place to lay low for an evening.

I love the Pub. It’s a bar located next door to the drive-​thru and open-​til-​2am-​everyday liquor store, Celebration Liquors. It’s quaint and definitely a spot for neighborhood regulars. The bartenders are always friendly, hilarious, and not stingy with the pour, and don’t doubt that they’ll remember you and what you like to drink. Very reminiscent of Cheers. The drink prices are very reasonable. A few pool tables, a couple arcade games, two dart boards, and seating areas with old school overstuffed leather chairs top it all off.
Negatives: Yes, this place can get super smoky, mainly on the weekends. Actually, at times this place can achieve a smokiness level that far surpasses any where else I’ve been. I’m not a cig fiend, though I can deal with the smoke, but I know it can really irritate a lot of people. Also on the con side, this often receives the excess riff raff stumbling home from Jax Beach crawls, so «excitement» is possible to ensue upon a visit. But is this fact unlike the situations at other bars? Not by any means. Good thing Denny’s is right across the street if you’re needing a meal to soak up the alcohol.
Random positives: spacious and never-​nasty bathrooms with cool little chalkboard section. Good quality darts. Quirky old-​fashioned touches everywhere, like you’re in Grandpa’s study.
