Winn-Dixie

I stopped coming here because of its detearation, but today I stopped for a quick buy and Woot Woot what a change! Love the red accents through out. Looks like a new place everything is neat and orderly I will definitely stop by here more often!

Nice hot food section and good varieties of beers. six mix-​n-​match for 9 bucks or if you are unsure about something new and wanna try like me, you can get each for 1.65, an inexpensive way to discovery some local beers before full commitment. Decent wine selection, buy 4 and get 10% off.
Produce section was just alright but they do have better organic section.
They do offer fuel points which is another added bonus to shop here.
There is a huge Taste of India section which has comparable or even better price on some Indian grocery items compared to the Indian grocery and produce across the Baymeadows. Outside of mainstream Indian store, this is the biggest assemblage of Indian items I’ve seen in American grocery store and some good deals on those items.
Overall, a good value store for everyday grocery shopping.

There’s a manager here named Ross that came to my rescue today and jumped my car. it’s only 3 years old and wouldn’t start. that is TOTALLY not in his job description and restored my faith in people helping people. can’t thank you enough Ross!

One of the nicest Winn-Dixie’s in North East Florida. Stopped here on the way home from lunch to get some hamburger or dinner. Store was very well laid out and clean.

This Winn Dixie is just about evenly between my office and where I live so it’s a convenient stop. I tend to stick to Winn Dixie for staples (canned stuff, frozen, etc) because of the fuel perks program. Even if the price on the items is the same, the promise of money of gas is too much to pass up. This parking lot is typically a lot less busy than the Publix one that is very close. The store is pretty good sized but could use some work (if the Fleming Island location is any indication, they’ll be seriously upgrading all of their stores soon). Not dirty, just outdated looking. My experiences with the staff have been good, friendly and helpful.
Whenever I stop in I always check the pre-​cut veggie area because they attach coupons when they get close to their sell by-​date. On my recent visit I got a package of chopped up stir fry veggies and a nice little tuna steak for about $ 2 each because the sell by dates were coming up. If you plan on using it soon, there is no reason to pass up those deals.
Make sure you’ve got your fuel perks card and check the sales, you’ll be glad you did!

I have to be honest, Publix is usually my go to store but here lately it has been Winn-​Dixie. They have great sales, and the fuelperks program. I mean seriously, who doesn’t want to save money on gas?! They usually have really good sales on meat, and you can really get stocked up during their BOGO deals.
Surprisingly, their wine selection isn’t too bad. They always have better sales on their wine than Publix, plus really good bonus fuelperks deals. Also, every time you buy 4 or more bottles you get 10% off all of them. Definitely give this place a chance if you haven’t shopped here.

One thing that bothers me with grocery stores is when they look dirty on the outside. If it is dirty on the outside, I am not inclined to step inside and get my food from them. Because of that, I wrote this store off a long time ago. But a friend is a huge fan and raves nothing but great deals so I finally decided to see what the fuss was about. Man, I was missing out…
Every time I go, there is always a 2 for 1 meat deal. Always. My freezer is about to bust at the seams because I keep getting meat and not using what I have. But come on, a 2 for 1 on pork loin or boston butt!!! What insane person would pass that up?!
The produce is amazingly fresh. All bright and clean and picked at the peak of season. The prices are reasonable. The staff is helpful. And the best part, you can earn points to help you lower how much you pay for gas at the pump — Publix doesn’t do that!
All I can say is, don’t judge a book by its cover. I missed out on so many savings because of that.
