Fabulous I’m picky and they did a great job got a cut mad nails done all on 49 mins and happy with both. I’m a now a loyal customer.

I received a gift card to this salon, and attempted to use it and schedule an appointment. Looking at all the reviews online, I was really excited to come here. Well when I called to use my gift card, I was rudely told by Annette that you are only allowed to use gift card Tuesdays and Wednesdays. When i explained to her that these days do not work for me, because I have child and I work during the day, I asked her if she would be willing to accommodate an appointment for Friday, after 3pm. I explained I am a a new client, excited to use my gift looking for a good salon. She said no, they do not accept gift cards on Fridays and Saturdays. I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to that would be willing to work with me and make an exception, since she was not budging and she said she was the owner. Anyway, I guess this salon does not want my business and so I’ll take my business elsewhere. Really disappointing.

I had Balayage done to my hair last summer with Nichole. best experience in a salon! everyone is very attentive and Nichole is a gem. She knows her work.

First time here absolutely loved it great atmosphere! Lexy gave me and my cousin fabulous hair cuts and styled it perfectly def recommend and I’ll will certainly be coming back

I’ve been coming here to get my hair cut for as long as I can remember, although I’ve gone to a few other salons, this one puts the rest to shame. Vinny is the absolute best and I always love how he cuts my hair.

I have actually never got my hair done here, I plan too but I usually come for Mira. she does the best waxing ever!!! She’s so fast and makes it as comfortable and with less pain as she can. I never want to go anywhere else. I have in the past and never again. Mira is the best!!!

I had a wonderful experience at Concept E Salon! The salon is beautiful and the staff is excellent! Maria was my stylist and she gave me a beautiful haircut. She is truly an expert at what she does. Concept E is the salon to go to in Queens! Thank you Maria and staff :-) you are awesome!

I’ve had horrible experience with bleaching and coloring before and could never get the ashy blonde that I went for. Nichole has magic hands! She was able to turn my very dark brown hair into this awesome blonde color. Love love my balayage highlights! Couldn’t stop receiving compliments all day

More raves. Getting married? Special event? After a terrible trial hair blow out at another reputable salon I came here, where John does my color. I went to Nicole. She tamed my fly away uneven waves and made them dance! Alice did my makeup (choice of regular or airbrush) it was natural and balanced. Everyone here is so friendly. Why go anywhere else?

This is the only place I will go to to get my hair done! Maria is the best colorist and hair stylist I have ever gone to. She listens to you and is very professional. Concept E has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Love coming here!

Concept E salon is great, the staff is wonderful and more importantly John is AMAZING! He spent hours on my hair fixing my previous color and gave me the perfect color of byolage and style I wanted. John is literally a hair genius!

This place is great! I had a stylist (Nicole) who recently moved here so I followed her over, and I’m glad I did. First of all the salon is clean and well lit. Everyone was really friendly and they can give you tea or coffee while you wait. They do manis, pedis, and eyebrows if you really want.
Anyway I’m not so good at writing these things so here is a picture:
As you can see my hair started becoming mousy and gross looking after a couple of months of no touch ups and Nicole fixed everything. If you want to get your hair lightened or want to get highlights, go to Nicole, she is the best! She also originally dyed my hair from very dark brown to that bright blonde color months ago and she has been my colorist ever since.
Oh I forgot to add, Mira is great for eyebrows. I saw her mentioned in another review and it’s true. She is really good!

My friend referred me to Mira for eyebrows and I couldn’t be happier. She had me grown my brows the first two tune I went to correct the mistake if previous people. now I get compliments on the great shape of my brows. She is profession, quick and precise and 100% recommended.

What can I say? Concept E became my go — to place for all things beauty when I moved to the neighborhood. I started there with Mira, who is truly the eyebrow Queen of Queens. Move over Anastastia, eyebrow lady to the stars… Mira can probably teach you a thing or two! Following Mira to the salon gave me the lucky find of Vinny. Vinny is my go-​to man for hair. What can I say. He can be as creative or as conservative as I want. He is crazy good with color as well as cut. He has a great eye and is not afraid to tell me that something won’t work. I get compliments all the time on my color. And let’s not forget that he is all things party. He did both my daughter’s and my hair for her Bat Mitzvah, and just did all the people for my wedding party. He is an absolute genius at wedding hair. I cannot say enough about his work. Oh, and he is a really nice person too. This is an important to me since many salons that provide not notch stylists come with the snooty attitude as well. Not here. I can get the look that any top notch Manhattan salon would give me without the attitude that goes with it. John, the owner is very nice and there is a homey attitude when I arrive. Paulette and Fanny are lovely and easy going. The staff is just lovely. You will not be disappointed with their work.

John is great! Always have a great haircut! Always happy with the turnout especially for being a male with longer length hair! I have an appointment today which I know will have a great turnout!

this review is more for my old stylist than for the salon.
Alex P was my stylist at Concept e a few years ago and he gave excellent haircuts as well as chatter/​banter while you are in the chair. I don’t know if he is still there but he gave the best haircuts there. I remember the place being very pricey and the reason why I couldn’t go back.
The salon itself was very nice, kinda upscale and the staff friendly.

I have been going there for about a year and I love it. Everyone is great but Alice is the BEST when it comes to HAIR COLOR AND CUTS. She always tries new things and I get so many complaints on my color… SHE IS AWESOME

Like the other reviewer I only go for Mira and her amazing hair removal. Only place I go for my brows. She also does a very quick Brazilian, never misses a hair. Great prices.

I have never gotten my haircut there, but it is the ONLY place I go to get my eyebrows done. Mira is an absolute genius. I’ve been going to her for over 13 years and have referred dozens of friends to her. She really customizes the shape to suit each person’s face. I really can’t say enough great things about her.
The salon itself is ALWAYS busy so I think they’re doing something right. John, the owner is an absolute doll and knows everyone who comes in. Fanny, the receptionist, also knows everyone and seems to help run that place like a well-​oiled machine. All in all a great place to go.
