Eat & Go? It’s more like Eat, Sit, Sit, Feel the pain in the wallet and Go! The only benefit of this place is that it is near the gate. Other than that, it is very overpriced in the airport. Granted, it is the airport. A large bottle of water cost me $ 6. Yup, that hurts. I heard a lady freak out over the price of mediocre pizza. It traumatized me not to get the pizza. There are better airports with superior food. We are left with Eat & Go as the last place to grab a bite before heading internationally.

Convenient. Like the blueberry smoothie but the instant noodles are really plain, no flavor at all.

What a great view from this place, they offer eats that right face to the air way, which allow you to see the whole process of how a plant departures. And the best part is thay it’s also facing to the New York City. It is easy made some quite good pictures, especially for the Boeing lover. The shop itself it alright, I read some reviews about how ridicious the price here was. But when I was here, I found the price was acceptable. It was not much big, well, I mean the shop was inside the airport. The price regularly cost from $ 2.53 to $ 7 around. And dont forget that you still need to pay text at the cashier. Overall, for a small break, it’s totally alright. The place is quite clean and the view is really cool.

$ 18 for bottle of coke, two tiny pieces of baklava & some trail mix. I was concerned about having snacks once in Mexico. SMH. No matter how many times, I still get surprised about the mercenaries who get the concessions in airports.

At first glance this place looked like a typical airport food stand and I was expecting its food quality to be no more than McDonalds. But guess what? The chicken gozleme I had was actually not bad. 9 dollars is probably a bit too expensive for what it is, but definitely something better than a American style sandwich so try it if you’re hungry.

Horrible food and service. If the owner is Indeed Turkish, they should know their staff represent them poorly. The lady at the register has the worst attitude at closing. Foods are dry and the bread not fresh. My wife carrying our 13 month old daughter had to run around the two sides of the register because the lady wants to close and don’t want to serve her. They really need to retrain their staff.

Why did I get gyro here when tomato and mozzarella is so much safer? I didn’t get sick or anything but it was the weirdest version of a gyro I’d ever had, plus the food and vitamin water cost me $ 16. That’s right, $ 16. They have a huge selection of food and drink but so grossly overpriced and I would def avoid the gyro.

Headed to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines, this Turkish fast food spot is literally right outside the gates. I bypassed some of the very Turkish items as I knew what was in store for me ahead the next week, so I opted for a cajun chicken wrap. Guess what? It wasn’t horrible! While an American spot would consist of a flavorless wrap stuffed with fried chicken or disgusting grilled chicken and some filling, this version was more of a pulled chicken salad with a hint of spice wrapped in a pretty flavorful pita/wrap. I again, didn’t hate it. This terminal sucks for food, but I gotta say this spot sufficed.

I had the spinach borek as my flight was delayed and I was starving. It was pretty bad. Also a bottle of water for $ 6!

Terrible doesn’t even begin to describe this place! It’s an atrocity that this is the last point to eat for US and foreign travelers at Terminal 1 in JFK. I feel as travelers we have enough torture ahead of us… must we be tortured before the flight as well??? I thought I would never say this but why couldn’t they just put in a McDonalds??? Or even an Arby’s? :-O I know that’s how bad this place is! Seeing that it was Turkish food got my poor starving husband and me excited to have some decent«airport» food… ha ha ha I know I know… that doesn’t exist! The spinach pie here was tasteless, full of oil and after two bites I chose to stay hungry instead of trying to clog up my arteries. The chicken sandwich was even worse… the chicken was so chewy that I was afraid it wasn’t cooked through… and stomach ache on a plane bad idea… so I just ate the bread from the sandwich… sigh. All in all if you value your stomach and your wallet, DONOT eat here… horrendous doesn’t cover it.

Please don´t eat there! I got a salmonella infection and I know for sure it came from them! I ate a chicken fajita panini. Other than that the prices are high, but that´s because it´s at the airport and the staff could be a lot nicer.

Wow. Terminal 1 is not impressive at all at JFK. This is the last point of US contact for many citizens and foreigners. I thought it would at least have good food options. Out of what’s available, Eat & Go did seem the most interesting with varied pricing. I tried a beef gozleme. It was surprising tasty and filling. At $ 7.99, it’s probably a good deal compared to everything else. The employees could use a little personality, but that goes for nearly everyone at this terminal.

I just ate my first gozleme – very thin bread grilled, stuffed, and folded. It’s the Turkish version of French crepes or Indian dosas. Mine was filled with a thin layer of feta cheese, herbs, and onions. It’s definitely worth trying if you ever encounter a Turkish restaurant.

A great halal Turkish spot in JFK? Unbelievable… But true! On our flight to Istanbul we were tempted by the Turkish food offered here and took a peek. The café offers American and Turkish food along with coffee and drinks. Best of all, it halal and it’s placed right near the Turkish airlines flights :)

Indeed I believe Gozleme is Turkish for yummy. It may be what I’m more familiar with as a «spinach pie» but whatever you call it, when I’m at the airport, my food expectations are very low. Usually in fact I bring my own food from Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s and enjoy it at my leisure. So on this trip when I was not prepared, you can imagine how pleasantly surprised I was to find these guys selling veggie goodies out in the wilds of the airport terminal. Wow! Good stuff, I’ll definitely go back to these guys.

Good quick food at the International Terminal at JFK. Nice alternative to the airport garbage I’m used to. Well priced and very tasty. Made my four hour layover tonight a little more bearable…

I asked the girl behind the desk what most people seemed to order there, and she told me it was the gyro. I bought it, and it was ok. But nothing to make a commotion about. Tasted like something I could have made in my own kitchen. Guess its wrong of me not to get a dessert item, because apparently the place has«Superior Food by Dessertist». I actually don’t know what that means, but I think it has something to do with getting the dessert? I went to the website’s menu and they seem to only feature the meat items. So maybe the desserts aren’t a big deal there? The site also says«have you tried our delicious gyro and meatball?» Hm. It all kind of bothers me a little.

What a nice surprise at the not most passenger-friendly Terminal 1 at JFK! OK, the place is only another fast-food counter(though with significantly larger choice than most others around here), but it offers primarily TURKISH food! I am a fan, but more importantly, Istanbul/New York’s food is good. As their own tag line proclaims, it is «Superior Food by Dessertist». I am not sure who that moniker belongs to(despite my best efforts, I could not find any online reference to the company or the mysterious chef Dessertist), but s/he has done a good job. The boreks(traditional and something called gulborek which seems mostly different in size and shape) with spinach, feta or potatoes; the gozlemes(pancake-like productions) complement Turkish-inspired sandwiches(sucuklu, peyinirli, yengen) and baklava and kadayif desserts. More Turksihs imported snacks, in the shape of candies and nuts too! Tasty and reasonably priced(for this airport especially). Do not forget to taste the Turkish coffee too!
