I didn’t know there was a location here I’m so happy i heard about one so close by. I use a lot of loccitane product for a very long time now & I wish I could give way more than just 5 stars ! Words can’t explain how great these products are. From hair to body I have tried them all & I have not been disappointed yet. These happen to be My fav products. I must always have the Shea butter foot cream & hand cream especially for the rough cold winter. I also can’t live without the almond shower oil ! Keeps your skin baby soft & super smooth

Oh sweet verbena-scented heaven! This tiny little boutique store in the American terminal was such a haven after my 9 hour flight from Malpensa last week. After arriving at the terminal and finding out that I had a four hour layover before my flight home, I was practically delirious from jet lag and cabin fever. I lugged my bags down the concourse, and after passing a few depressing Duty Free shops and about 13 Hudson Newses, I smelled lavender and verbena wafting from a storefront. It was L’Occitane, and it smelled like hope. The lemon verbena body spray I bought was so refreshing and made me feel like a million bucks. Well, at least $ 3.50, it was an awfully long layover. But at any rate, I enjoyed getting to escape the airport atmosphere for a few minutes. The cashier was a doll, and humored my conversation-starved chit-chattiness kindly. If you’re stuck at JFK in the American terminal, and you feel like you may snap if one more traveler runs over your toes with their leaden roller bag, go to L’Occitane. Take a deep breath. Apply the lemon verbena body spray liberally. Repeat as necessary until your flight finally boards. Once you’re on the tarmac, only Grey Goose can save you.

This is my favorite mainline L’Occitane(there’s an outlet a couple of hours away). It’s in the American Airlines terminal – the one that’s furthest away from check-in. I wandered in there while on a three hour delay, so was happy to be chatted up by the lovely salesperson. She sympathized with my plight and let me test items to my heart’s content. She also nicely told me about all of their special offers and pointed out all of their travel-specific products. Since I usually go straight for the shea/lavender products only, I totally would have missed them. 45 minutes later I left with a big bag and a smile. I now stop by every time I’m out that way, just to see what’s new.
