A friend of mines told me they had Panda lasted week, and the noodles wasn’t cooked and that it was dry, and the orange chicken was a bit hard

Airport food, what can you say. The airport didn’t seem to offer any fast food places so I settled on Panda Express. Food was really good, they let you sample the chicken and stuff before settling. I’m giving it three stars due to the service I received. I asked to sample a chicken, the lady gave me a toothpick with the chicken, then she walked away and poured herself a soda and completely ignored me. About 45 seconds later a guy showed up, asked the people behind me what they want, then asked me what I was doing. The lady then came back and asked me what I wanted. I went to pay for my food, but I never got my food, I guess they just put it on the counter where you ordered, and don’t expedite it down to the register. Rude staff, but food was fine.

This was my first time to JFK I was a little disappointed with the food choices not many choices very upscale airport anyways on this particular morning I came upon this Panda Express and I thought you can’t go wrong with panda and boy was I wrong, the chicken was so old and chewy it didn’t taste like it was fresh at all I felt bad because it was packed and I didn’t want to scare customers away but for $ 16! I couldn’t just let that go. bringing me to my 2nd point I originally ordered a 2 entrée and 2 spring rolls on the side she charged me as a 3 entrée which was weird because I have never been charged that before and the drink was low on syrup so all I tasted was water, not a good experience at all especially for $ 16 I better be getting some quality food and drink I’m jus sayin

It’s not the greatest Chinese food, but it’s not the worst either. Totally overpriced, but that is to be expected at the airport. The lo mein is practically all veggies & no noodles. Sometimes the rice is kind of hard. You get more rice/lo mein than actual meat, so you’re usually left with rice/lo mein & nothing to eat it with. The veggie spring rolls are extra greasy. It’s really a hit or miss depending on who’s «cooking» that day. I honestly only come here when the line for Shake Shack next door is too long. My lunch break is only 30 minutes!

I love Panda because it’s so reliably AIGHT. Like you can expect it to be AIGHT100% of the time. When you’re evaluating other food options at JFK, you run the risk of the food being TERRIBLE or pretty good, with no guarantee of the latter. If you’re tired of trying your luck with airport food, stick with Panda. Panda never fails to deliver a solidly AIGHT dining experience and saves you from savagely disappointed expectations and dropping serious cashes on expensive airport food. And now for some real advice, the kids sized meal is perfectly portioned for when you want a little snack. It’s also cheaper and comes with a cookie!

Okay rendition of Americanized Chinese food. Tastes like the other Panda Express chains I tried. Food was piping hot so that was a plus. A little bit too salty and that is coming from a person who hearts salt. There was some flavor to the chicken and chow mein(7.99), more spices added would be a plus. For an airport, the price and food was ok. Sometimes when you have a hankering for noodles at an airport between your flights, you can satisfy that urge here. Knocked off one star for dirty tables. The 30+ minutes I was here, a guy into came by once to adjust the chair arrangements but did not clear off the tables even though the seating area was pretty empty and the tables had leftover food particles on it.

Is there such a thing as ‘salt sweats’? Seriously. I know Panda Express isn’t the healthiest food in the food court, but I don’t think I’ve ever had such a salty mess that I actually felt like I was going to pass out right there in the airport. The chow mein was the only thing I could actually eat, the rest went into the trash. Considering the number of airport employees that were in line in front of me, I seriously have to wonder about the health and well-being of Delta’s ground crew. Also? Really super annoying to get stuck at the back of the line when the PE staffer was more concerned with flirting with the ground crew than moving the line along. Pass on this place.

DON’T EATHERE. A piece of chicken had completely gone bad, fully rotten. Spit it out. Stopped eating. Went back, returned the order to them. They reluctantly refunded my money. Told them several times, «you should take that out right now and check», of course they did not, kept serving it to people. Didn’t even hear the slightest apology or a single sorry.

I must say this is probably one of the best airport«fast food» spots by far. I work in the airport and this is where I spend my lunch every Monday and Friday. The service is great food taste fresh and it’s almost never to crowned to take a seat and relax. The atmosphere is amazing and they are all do welcoming would definitely recommend them! Is your in this terminal.

The food was disgusting! This is the worst Panda Express I’ve ever been too! If you are stuck in the Airport go somewhere else. Not worth it!

Quick, simple options, and slightly more expensive than any other Panda Express I’ve ever been to, I guess to be expected. For $ 13, though, a full meal for two of us on greasy spoon Chinese food.

If you end up on this swanky terminal and wanna cause gas evac at 30k ft, knock yourself out and enjoy panda express. It’s typical panda express, nothing that shines, it’s airport food from ghettoooooo china. Everything is crap here and I love it.

Well, they managed to pull off the inglorious combination of serving up food that simultaneously was extra dry(the rice) and extra greasy(the chow mein). They avoided the Chinese trifecta of shame thanks to the garlic chicken. It was actually pretty good with decent strips of white meat and a sauce that – while far from refined – at least committed no crimes. The service was one of benign neglect but at least it wasn’t belligerent, so enjoy your 2 stars Mr. Panda.

Can I give less than 1 star? Disgusting, disgusting stuff. I got very sick from eating here. Food needs to be kept above a certain temperature to prevent bacteria. That’s why we cook food and serve it fresh. At Panda Express, they cook their… um…I guess I can call it «food»…then keep it lightbulb warm so it can be served to you swimming with bacteria.

I wanted non-pizza, non-sandwich hot food, and Panda Express was basically all I had to go on in this terminal. I got a small box of broccoli beef. My expectations weren’t high(’cause it’s a Panda Express). Broccoli was falling apart, but the beef was tender. Greasy overall. Hopefully they’ll have opened up those new restaurants the next time I’m in JFK.

*Oh I love being the first to review an establishment in New York.* In the barren stretch of decent eateries beyond security in terminal 4, I searched for something hot to eat. Panda Express, the queen of fast food Chinese came to my rescue. Now I am not going to harp on about restaurant standard quality(we are in an airport people) this isn’t Royal China, but still the Panda served me up a filling hot meal. The choice of boiled rice, fried rice or noodles can be teamed with either two or three accompaniments. I generally go with the mixed veg, orange chicken and chicken mushroom. I am always pleasantly surprised by the quality. The chicken was cooked to tender perfection whilst the vegetables and rice tasted clean and fresh. I am fond of the little Panda and have no hesitation in recommending it for a place to eat before the horrors of the ensuing aeroplane food.
