Seafood Delight

Absolutely amazing I had the tilapia and shrimp with a side of yams and it was perfection. I will definitely be returning.

The customer service here is the worst I have ever experienced. I have gotten food from here multiple times in the past and is was always a positive experience, except tonight. I ordered Cat fish with shrimp, flounder with chips and a cheese burger. All the food was bland but fine except the cat fish, it tasted like straight dirt. I even went as far as to peel the batter and skin off, and it still tasted like I had a mouth full of dirt. I gave it to two of my household members thinking it was just me and they agreed that it tasted and smelled like dirt. I called the restaurant asking for a refund for that part of my meal and the woman claiming to be the manager told me to bring the fish to the restaurant. When I arrived an unidentified man immediately pulled out the bowl of catfish from the freezer and told me that was the same cat fish I recieved and said ‘It must be your taste buds’ I became offended and got defensive and asked him to smell and taste the fish for himself, all of the workers refused to smell the fish and told me that I would not received a refund. They told me that no one else had complained so it was just me and my taste buds. The woman who claimed to be the manager told me that I could continue to stand there looking stupid because I wasn’t getting a refund. I have ordered the catfish in the past and never had an issue, but after basically being called a liar and being completely disrespected I will never spend my hard earned money here again.

This place is located a few blocks away from my house. It’s definitely a hidden gem. The food is fresh and delicious. I ordered 5 pc shrimp with 2 pieces of chicken with side order of French fries and Macaroni and Cheese. Everything was made to perfection. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. You cannot go wrong! The place is very clean and tidy and they also have an ATM inside because they don’t accept credit card payments. Staff is very courteous and friendly.

Glad to see a fish joint back in the neighborhood. Okay so I got a 3 pc whiting & chips. The fish was pleasantly good I enjoyed it but the fries I did not like them they were limp and soggy I repeat LIMP & SOGGY and it’s just a 6 minute walk from my house. Also I didn’t see any tarter sauce but I didn’t ask if they had. Hope fries are better next time.

To be honest I want this place to succeed but they’re having a rough start. Mac and cheese kinda oily due to cheap cheese and fries were soft. Their coconut cake was ok but tasted like a new baking baker made it. I’m gonna keep an eye on them and see how they improve. The one delight was their very friendly cashier and staff. Even when customers were rude they smiled and kept working hard. But like I said today was the opening day and they were struggling a Lil bit.
