I lived in St. Albans for 7 yrs and I loved this park. While it’s not the largest nor does it have the most diverse attributes for a neighborhood park, it’s perfect . Located in such a serene little spot off Sayers this park has playgrounds, running/walking space, sprinklers and enough space for multiple age groups to enjoy the park safely. There are workout areas for weight lifting, pull ups, leg lifts etc and spaces that facilitate personal training. In addition across the street there are huge basketball and handball courts. In the past I’ve seen people golfing on the lawns. While I’m not sure that’s legal, it’s not pervasive nor does it interfere with others using the space. I love that the local leaders are consistent with bringing health fairs, yearly summer kick off and Easter egg hunts etc to the park to bring the community together. On this particular day I brought my students to the First Annual Pantry in the PARK event held by «major» an army vet who used her own funds to purchase a house near by to provide housing for displaced veterans and uses the home to run a pantry. This yr for the 1st time she facilitated the pantry in the park. Over 300 ppl in need showed up. It blessed our hearts to interact with them as we volunteered . Great park, great event

This is where me and my boy Marty go and work out at. From pull ups to dips and push ups to hanging leg raises this is our game of thrones gravel pit.
