Their sides are okay but the best is the bbq chicken. Service is great. Defiantly recommend the French fries with everything on it.

The customer service was pretty good. I was welcomed & greeted nicely. The food looked enticing from the pictures but in the store not so much but I was won over by the other postings I just had to try. I was craving for the Mac and cheese I got that & the Lo mein with veggies and I also got the jerk chicken with the recommended sauce of the white garlic and BBQ. Now when I got home after getting soaked in the rain I was highly disappointed :(
Mac and cheese was hard the Lo mein wasn’t that seasoned kind of bland and the chicken «Fuhgeddaboudit»… Some parts of the meat was kind of burnt and tasted like it was left on the grill. The only thing I did like was the mix of the sauces that I did eat with some of the chicken meat. Can’t say that I won’t be back because I’m a fat girl but I’ll have to flip a coin on that.

When they first opened up when aunty and uncle was running it it was great. The lamb which I only eat rare was so soft I didn’t mind it being medium well. The service was even great. Now the past few times I have came into queens I was craving it I was very disappointed. They are so disorganized they don’t know who ordered what. The food is to dry. They charge extra for extra sauce. The macaroni pie which was my favorite is now very burnt just like all the other places in the neighborhood. Plus they barely have coconut water. Which they advertise. Whenever you calm to place an either they hang up after saying two times or they just keep saying hello. When you ask them to go somewhere less noisy they have an attitude and say it’s the phone. I would try it again only if the old couple is there and I would have to go in an order it

Excellent service. Excellent food. They have really big portions. Im eating left overs from today right now. Would be good for some sober up food. Wish they opened 24hours

The sides are okay and the potato salad can use some work but the BBQ is on point ! Very Delicious! The staff are also good and they do deliveries which are pretty fast.
The prices are a little bit too high but the food portions are enormous. There isn’t much place to sit inside or outside, about 2 tables inside and 3 outside. 4.5 stars

Tried the lunch special and wasn’t that impressed. Their barbecue chicken was good, tasted like bbq chicken. But their fried rice was a disappointment, had no taste. The lunch special price was a really good deal though.

Check this place out for some delicious barbecue! I wouldn’t recommend dining in unless you’re planning to eat outside, which is sometimes nice.
My husband and I love the barbecue chicken with garlic sauce and a side of macaroni pie and sweet plantains. The chicken is juicy and very flavorful. I haven’t tried their lamb but they do offer that as well.
It’s some great comfort food!

The food here is the bomb!!! Was having a bbq craving an stubble on this place .I had whole bbq chicken, chow mein my cousin ordered the lamb. All the meats are well season + its halal, oh boy let’s not forget the BBQ, garlic, tamarind, & pepper sauce .the prices are average. customer service was on point, you can also call ahead to order. little out door seating + no restroom. only downfall ! But this lace really reminds me of back home late night eats.

When thinking of the flavor of true Trini bbq this food is far from it. The sauce is too sweet, the fried rice is not well seasoned and the macaroni pie is lacking any sort of flavor. Also when ordering pay attention to what/​how much they serve you as it seems they choose who they want to give extra pieces of chicken to. Not worth your hard earned money. Eat somewhere you will get the most bang for your buck!

BBQ chicken was amazing, taste like the BBQ hits in Trinidad. Would definitely recommend this place, it’s worth the drive.

The food was not good at all! Made me sick, my son and husband, and a small tray was $ 10.

I use to love the food when you guys first opened. The mashed potatoes was creamy, the chicken was fresh and hot and tasted good. It seems like when sales increased you guys stopped caring about the customer. I ordered food with you guys a few days ago and found a HAIR in the macaroni pie. To tell you the truth it wasn’t the first time. I gave you guys another chance because I said you know what mistakes happen. To my surprise it happened again. The sauce for the mashed potatoes tastes sour. You guys need to reevaluate yourself because someone else will open up another bbq place and put you out of business.

The food here is superb!
The lamb is so on point, (call ahead) the chicken is moist and seasoned to perfection!
Macaroni pie, rice and salad make you feel like you’re home in Trinidad AND the meat is halal.
You can’t go wrong, swing by and try!
Just wish they took cards and parking was more accessible– nevertheless, that flavor is well worth it! Yummy!
Average Lamb combo will run you around $ 15 while the chicken is around $ 10.

Ordered food for the first time since I was having a BBQ craving. We actually went to Sybil’s first and since there was an estimated wait of 20 minutes decided to head home when we stumbled upon this place located several blocks away. Great find!!! We all enjoyed this well prepared and seasoned BBQ chicken. Since they offer delivery, I will definitely add this place on my speed dial !! Kudos to the Staff!!! Thank you for a delicious dinner!

Overpriced and food is served room temperature. Tastes good though.

The food is EXCELLENT! Tastes great and you can choose 1 of an assortment of sauces to go with your meal. I had the mango BBQ sauce and it was sooooo good! I can’t wait to try the fish and the lamb. They used to have bake and shark but no more hence the 4 stars because that’s what I came for yesterday. Staff is very friendly and the baked macaroni is soooooo cheesy!

Closest Thing in NY to Trinidad BBQ.
Love the difference type of BBQ sauce, but need to be thickened. Another +++ it’s HALAL.

If you can’t make it to trini for Muslim BBQ, then head to queens where the chicken is fingerlicking good, so many choices, but mines are macaroni salad, regular fries and dark meat, it makes me feel like I was under the tent eating in trini
