Jamesport Bay Suites

I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Sue and staff here at the Jamesport Bay Suites. My fiancé and I are currently living 3,300 miles apart as I live in Northern Cali, and she lives in New Jersey. I was in town visiting for the 4^th of July weekend; we stayed one night at the beautiful gem of a place, on the Sunday night following the 4^th. This was a very last minute booking, and we had just attended a party at my parent’s house on Long Island, but Sue was kind enough to check us in just before midnight. After checking in, we immediately sat out next to the water on the full recline chairs, and we gazed at the moon & stars. We woke up in the morning, and we went paddle boarding right in front of the resort. It was just perfect! Also, all the other guests staying there were so warm, and friendly. It seemed like there are a lot of regulars that stay there, and they were so nice to us. My only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer. This place is a GEM! It is very romantic for a couple, and great for families. They have barbeques for cooking, water sport rentals right on the property, and the tranquility of the East end. Thank you for making our night, Sue!

Stayed here with my girlfriends after visiting some nearby wineries. Beautiful view. Nice rooms. Lovely, attentive, owner. I will be staying again.

I’ve been staying here for over 20 years. Nice to wake up in the sand with our own boats and waverunners moored nearby. BBQ’s and take out dinners for the week. Simple family beach vacations. New owners now. Certainly needed né paint & carpets etc. I hope they don’t change much, i like it just how it is. DID need improvements after Sandy, hope they don’t improve right out of my budget.
