Stopped in for a quick Sunday brunch. Eggs, chorizo, house made tortillas. Well executed Mexican breakfast. Service was a little slow, but man did it hit the spot!

Have had dinner there many times, but never Again! Service poor, but food even worse

I Have To Say Thank You Unilocal on this one! It was worth the mile or so jaunt to find off IH35. From chips and salsa, meal and service, I was very pleased. Had I known the house margarita was $ 2, I would have had another!

We have eaten here often over the last five years since we moved out to Jarrell and we always enjoy it. The food is reliably good and the service is always friendly and prompt.

I have gone to many of their locations. I love the food and the price points. Service is much better, more consistent for the last several times I have visited. However, I went to this location, with a friend visiting home, from London. We were on our way back to Temple from Austin. It was Monday the 11th of April-2016. We were there around 4p.m. Our server, a shorter young lady, with longer dark hair served us. Her name is Darian. She was GREAT! Really excellent at her job. Tentative, timely, brought things without having to ask, even asked about dessert before bringing the bill. Had a GREAT pitch to sell dessert too. I was impressed. I would have had dessert if my friend wanted to share. I was stuffed too, but it is good AND her selling technique impressed me. She did say, «It comes in a clear to-go container so you can just take what’s left home, IF you don’t finish it.» Made sense to me, but again, my friend didn’t want to share. I didn’t want to keep us longer just for me to eat more. She rocks!

Excelent presentation. And my favorite meal. Worth the drive. Suprema de pollo! You need to have this meal.

Meh… typical Tex Mex… Vallartas Enchiladas, or shrimp tacos, might have been made with canned shrimp… not too good. Good chips with salsa and typical queso.

Personally I don’t care for Mexican food sin queso blanco, so I wouldn’t return for myself but others in my group were ok with their meals but have had better. I wouldn’t say not to give it a try I am saying it is not a place I would return to.

Food was great. Pretty Authentic I’d say. Customer service was also warm and welcoming. Place looks nice too. I ordered the chicken fajita quesadilla and it was pretty big; I had to ask for a to-go box. It was served with guacamole, crème, and a pico de gallo type of side. Clean restrooms. The chip salsa can be worked on though.

Tried this restaurant on our way towards Dallas. Pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of the food. The staff was very friendly. We ordered a molcajete and the taste was unique. Very delicious. Loved the salsa and cheese they give you while you wait for your food. Definitely going to stop by again if in the area.

Has gotten better. I gave them another star. Food was better but it still fell short. The Carne Guisada pieces were tender and a bit tough. Overall good. Fajita beef was good. Fajita chicken was a bit dry. Onions over cooked, peppers undercooked. Chicken nachos were good. No complaints with these. Charo beans were well seasoned. Tortillas were good. Our server Ben was very attentive. Overall 4 stars.

Good food! I’m local so it really is the only restaurant around but I’m happy with it. Love their warm salsa but you have to ask for it.

The service was pretty good. I didn’t like the sweet tea. It had an odd flavor. The food was very ‘meh’ and I probably wouldn’t care to eat here again.

Great Food! I recommend eating there though, not take out. The Carne Guisada is really good, and the Fried Ice Cream?! Oh man, it’s killer good! And it’s right off the highway.

Great place to eat. Many business meeting here with customers. My favorite is the molcajete bowl, even the if it has the metal liner that they are required to use its still the best I’ve had on the menu. The shredded chicken is also very good. The staff speaks mostly Spanish, so either point out what you want or learn a little Spanish if you want your meal ordered correctly, because mistakes happen but they will remedy it quickly at request. I’ve eaten at the Georgetown location also and I would rate it almost as good as the Jarrell location even though Georgetown has a little bit cheaper prices.

Good food. Just disappointed in presentation of molcajete. Came out with metal bowl in it with contents inside. Parents where looking forward to a little bit of home. Said they used to Bring it out in molcajete itself. It’s wider and easy access to all the food. Understand maybe if it was busy trying to not make the extra effort to wash dishes but it was a lasting impression. Presentation is key.

This is a great place that we just happened to see on the way back home to Dallas. Clean, welcoming, great staff friendly and ready to serve you up some great Tex Mex. Menu had a lot of stuff on it but we went with the Chimichanga that was the«special». It was served with«queso» rice and beans. Perfect for a 2 ½ hour drive.
