I went on a full moon hike here. It was great. It is a one mile hike and it is a pretty tough hike. There are more hiking trails abound and it isn’t a far drive. We hiked to a lovely little cabin and had hot chocolate. This place teaches classes on sustainable forestry and building tiny places for offices or such. They build little cabins and ship them places. Very cool. One day they may do tiny homes. But for now, you can hike and camp in one of their 4 cabins by Little Dyer Pond. Or you can take a class on forestry, you can learn to xc ski, you can do the biatholon, coming up later on this month. How fun! what a wonderful place. The roads can be a tad icey when driving there but this place is a main winter attraction which is good cause not all people ski, they just want a nice hiking spot in the winter. This is a good one.
