I am a library hound, and I haunt several – some in New Orleans, others in Jefferson. The Rosedale Branch is a small branch that is delightful. Overall, Jefferson Parish Library is awesome with great online tools. As to this branch, the librarians are sweet and smart, and they make a note to make a comment every time we come in to let us know they remember us, know us. It’s a pleasant neighborhood spot. Their storytime for kids is fun – they read a story or two then do an activity connected to what was read. Unlike at JP’s main branch storytime, this one is not over-​crowded with kids. Far more one-​on-​one with librarian/​child, at to me, that’s a very good thing.
