We have stayed in many B & B’s. This place is exceptional! Tammy & Dave are gracious, great cooks, and run a wonderful place. Bed was very comfortable, fridge in & outside room was stocked, bathroom was sparkling clean as was the room. We highly recommend White Oak Manor!

This was our first bed and breakfast experience, and it’s going to be hard for any other B&B to top it. Pulling up in front of the beautiful 1920’s home surrounded by a quaint white picket fence, we just felt the stresses of everyday life drain away. After dinner and dessert downtown, we called it an early night and relaxed in the comfy bed in front of the flat screen tv. The next morning we enjoyed some coffee on the peaceful wrap around porch before breakfast. The breakfast David prepared was amazing, and we really enjoyed chatting with David and Tammy. Our stay was wonderful. Maybe even more relaxing than a day at a spa. Thanks, David and Tammy being such great hosts!

Dave and Tammy were engaging and friendly. The room was immaculately clean. There were lots of nice little touches, like fridge and Keurig coffee maker in the room, lots of DVD movies to pick from, sodas, water, cookies. Breakfast was fabulous! Sitting on the front porch at evening listening to the birds chirp and enjoying the peace and quiet of Jefferson was so relaxing. A great place to unwind. The oak trees in the front and back yards are awesome.

I came here for the Pulpwood Queens Girlfriend Weekend, dragging along the hubby as my driver and personal slave. I chose this place because the breakfasts looked delicious and the garden room has a balcony. It also has both a claw-foot tub and a shower, an electric fireplace, a ceiling fan, and a Keurig with plenty of coffee varieties. My husband loved the Keurig and was doing crazy things like making coffee at 12:30 in the morning, just because it was convenient. Everything was just like it looked in the photos. The innkeepers, Dave and Tammy, were so welcoming and laid-back. Dave is the cook and made amazing breakfasts. He asks if you have any restrictions so he can tailor it. He made a delicious German pancake served in a ramekin with apple-brandy sauce and fresh blueberries that I will be dreaming about for some time. Every breakfast had some kind of carb and protein and fruit, plus coffee and fresh OJ. Another nice touch is how they have a fridge stocked with sodas and waters and extra cream right outside the room for guests to use. Our room also had a mini fridge, which had cream in it for coffee. They also have movies, popcorn, and books. There are a few websites that say this place is haunted, but I didn’t see anything. One night, I think I turned the ceiling fan off and then it was on later, but that might have been me not knowing how to work it. Our room was bright and cheerful, and the whole place had good energy. It’s also quite close to the downtown area– maybe a half mile at most. You can hear the train whistling all night(you can no matter where you are in Jefferson, because the train goes around the town), but it’s not so bad at this place.
