I had the worse experience here. The guy talked over my head (literally, never made eye contact). Asked me what size shoe I wear. Never measured my foot. Never felt a shoe on my foot. Told me I need stable shoes (agree), brought me out two pairs. When I complained that the fit was funny he told me all shoes will feel like that. Well a week of wearing those shoes later I’m going somewhere else for shoes. The fit is terrible. I was clear I needed a large toe box, but these shoes are squeezing my feet. Ugh. $ 120 down the drain.

You know what I love about calm, affable and patient customer service? It makes me want to buy things!
In the span of 25 minutes Keith assessed my gait, corrected my shoe size and coached me through 2 try-​ons. The fit was perfect, and the guidance that Keith provided was really helpful. He gave me good tips for breaking in my shoes, how many miles/​months they should last and general beginners runner guidelines (yes, your running shoes may very well run a size larger than all your other shoes, and fallen arches aren’t curses if you find the right stabilizing shoe that’s not necessarily gonna be the one you find on the clearance rack at DSW or that nifty looking find-​a-​shoe link from women’s health magazine).

I came in here six months ago as a new runner having just finished my first 5K because I was having ongoing pain on the inside of my right ankle that didn’t seem to be improving with training. The sales guy that helped me (Mike, maybe? White hair and mustache) was very friendly and patient. He watched me walk, looked at the Reeboks I had been wearing and gave me several recommendations for shoes that would help. I bought the Asics GT-​2000 2 and my pain was gone a few days later. I’ve since bought another pair to rotate them in and out. Just finished my first half marathon a few weeks ago. Thanks, JRC – I’ll be needing a new pair soon and I’ll be back!
One tip, the guy saw my Horsham Athletic Club card on my key chain and gave me a 10% discount, so if you’re a member of a gym in the area, ask if there’s a discount in place.

Bought a pair of Nike Pegasus 29. I don’t have a clue about running shoes since I’m only a year into this fitness game. The workers basically do all the work for you and steer you in the right direction as far as sizing/​comfort levels and all that stuff…
Few weeks later and I see the same exact shoes for 40 $ less @ modells… lol

I was very pleased with my shopping experience at Jenkintown Running Co. I am a rather serious and committed runner and athlete, and I was looking for some new all-​purpose running shoes. A knowledgeable and affable staff member analyzed my gait, and then based on how I walked and my stated goals helped me try on 3 pairs of shoes until I found the pair that was just perfect. He was very patient with me, and I am pleased with my purchase.

This place is legit! I run for pleasure and to release stress. My knees have been bothering me and I realized it was from my old sneakers. I first went to DSW but felt lost and overwhelmed, I wanted to try this place and see if someone could help me find a good running shoe.
I was greeted by the owner, who analyzed my walk and helped me narrow down my choices, after trying on about 5 different pairs I ended up walking out with the first pair I tried on. They feel awesome! If only they had them in my favorite mint green color!

I am currently training to do a 5k and have been in unbearable pain due to shin splits. I was told to go buy decent shoes and in my search this place came up. I decided to see if all the 5 stars lived up to the actual experience and they definitely did.
Upon entering I was greeted by someone immediately who seemed very knowledgable and keen to help. He had me walk so he could identify what product would be best suitable for me. Helped me quickly and got me the perfect shoe. My one and only complaint would be the guy seemed to think he knew a lot better then me in terms of my sizing and comfort. I had to be a bit stern in saying I knew my sizing a bit better, however this is really a small thing.
This was a great, simple and easy experience. Pricing was perfect, service was great, would definitely recommend and go back.

I’ve been running for about a year and in two weeks will run my first half marathon. The Jenkintown Running Company has been great the few times I’ve been in the store. I am moving to Jenkintown and can’t wait to join them on their weekly runs. How cool is that? And they have pizza and drinks afterwards! Awesome place with great service.

Let me start by saying I don’t run. Never have run for exercise/​leisure/​what have you. And I probably never will.
That being said, I have never been treated so wonderfully in a place where I felt so awkward being in.
I needed new sneakers. I also needed advice. I tend to over supinate when I walk, which means that I walk on the outside of my feet. After a bit of research, I knew the sort of shoe I was looking for, but I wanted a second opinion. Keith knew exactly what I was talking about and what I needed. He helped me so much and was so informative, without being overbearing with information. Better yet, he was concerned about the perfect fit for me rather than selling the most expensive shoe; I ended up trying two different styles of the same brand (Asics), and I got the less expensive one (because I have never felt a more perfect fit in my life). He was so kind and helpful, and it was such a great reflection on the company. The best part? We were only there 15 minutes, tops.
I totally recommend the Jenkintown Running Company. Great service, great product, great atmosphere, and wonderful overall experience.
