Are they closed??? Drove there and closed and looks like construction going on inside.

I hate leaving bad reviews. I much prefer leaving glowing ones that make people happy. But I just can’t do that for this place. It is not a busy place at all and now I see why. Let’s start with the food: There were two of us and we each ordered the Big Mama’s Plate(the two meat dinner.) I got ribs and pulled pork, potato salad, and BBQ baked beans.(It came with a slice of white bread too.) My fiancé got the ribs and brisket, corn on the cob, and Texas toast, which they make you choose as a side instead of just up-charging you and giving it to you in lieu of white bread. The food was barely lukewarm when it came out and we were one of two taken tables, so there was no excuse for that. The ribs were just okay on the basis that I was starving when we got there. They either weren’t smoked properly or weren’t smoked at all. And I have a sneaking suspicion that they’re reusing food for several days after they make too much. Parts of it had basically turned into jerky from being reheated so much. The meat was falling off the bone on some parts, but that didn’t make up for the tough, leathery parts or the lack of flavor: meaty, smokey, or otherwise. The pulled pork was downright bad. It tasted as though it had almost been boiled into submission and been left sitting in whatever it was cooked in for days. I’ve had microwave pulled pork from a grocery store that I would rate 3 stars higher than the mess I got here. While not dry, the flavor was terrible and the meat was extremely chewy, again playing into that suspicion that they’re reusing food. If the«BBQ Baked Beans» weren’t regular Bush’s baked beans from a can, I’ll eat my own foot. If there was any difference in flavor or texture at all, it was completely indiscernible. There was ZEROBBQ flavor to them at all. The potato salad… If they aren’t scooping this out of some industrial sized plastic container, I’d be absolutely shocked. It’s so thick and mayo-y that it’s hard to eat. There’s next to no texture other than potato and mayo. It’s also really sweet and I’m not exactly sure how that even came about. My thoughts on the sides conclude with my belief that they must just be going to Sam’s Club and buying preprepared things and just scooping them out as needed. My fiancé’s food was just as much of a let down. He felt the same about the ribs and said the brisket was dry and a little chewy. The corn was the only good part of his meal. The BBQ sauce wasn’t very good at all and the only reason we used it was to dress the meat and get it a little less dry and more flavorful. It tasted like it was mostly too sweet, off brand ketchup. The service was pretty terrible. There were 2 people working in the entire restaurant and that was it. One guy in the back, one girl on the front. She couldn’t have acted like she wanted to be there less. There was only one other table occupied when we came in. She acted like it was a huge inconvenience to come take our order and get us our drinks and, once she brought us our food, she never came back to our table at all. She only brightened up a little as we went and paid our bill at the counter and she saw we were giving her $ 4 on a $ 19 check. I’m guessing that’s much more than she usually gets. The entirety of the inside of the restaurant is dirty. Everything is covered in a layer of dust and grime. The BBQ bottles hadn’t been wiped down in who knows how long, the walls and tables were sticky and had BBQ sauce stuck to them, the floor was nasty, and everything from the decorations on the walls to the paper towel holders was covered in dust. It seriously seems like no one has really cleaned the place in at least a couple of years. I can only imagine what the kitchen and bathrooms must have looked like because the dining area was so bad. To top it off, a few hours after our meal, my fiancé and I both ended up in the bathroom sick for several hours. That’s what capped it off for us. We won’t be returning. To sum it up, it’s definitely not worth the nearly $ 10 for a 2 meat plate. The food is a miss, the service sucks, it’s disgustingly dirty, and you run the risk of food poisoning. You’re better off going down the road to Billy Sim’s, getting more for your money, hot food, and no bacteria.

Been here several times and It is pretty good. It’s not my favorite place for BBQ but It is good. That staff has never been(in my experience) very friendly.

Good tasty meats. Sauce was good and you could see the pepper(and pepper flakes) in the hot sauce. Worth going to for lunch.

I never leave bad reviews but can’t help it. This place was dirty — fingerprints on glass, knick knacks covered in BBQ sauce and dust and improperly working bathrooms. I’d hate to see the kitchen. The food wasn’t good. Maybe it was just an off day, but the meat tasted bland like leftovers and potato salad like the supermarket kind. Even the tea tasted like it had soured. Hopefully they remodel and work on the food.

Best bbq chicken I’ve ever had! French fries were awesome too… we will definitely stop in again when ever we’re in town.

The meat was a lil dry and sauce just average. Service was slow. I recommend the corn on the cob yummy. However shocked at having to pay for a box to take my leftovers home

Never going back here. Food, nothing special to stand out from any other BBQ place around. We wanted to get the all you can eat catfish but they ran out. How do you not stock enough of the special? They were also out of half the menu items on the kids menu so they didn’t get anything they wanted and wasted what they ordered. Dining Room, Filthy dirty. If I was the manager I would have three of the girls standing around talking very loud at the counter cleaning the crud off the walls, baseboards and floors. I went to the restroom before we left and that was the deciding moment. NEVER going back here. The restroom was worse than a truck stop. The sink, floor, toilet was nasty. I’m not the type of guy that uses a paper towel to open the door after I wash my hands but I did here. If the dining room and restroom was that dirty, how dirty is the kitchen? Maybe I caught them on a bad day, doubt it.

This is Oklahoma. If there’s one food that can represent the midwest, it’s Bar-B-Q. And Big Daddy’s lives up to it’s name. The best compliment I can give them is how much it feels like you’re eating meat that has just been pulled of your friends super awesome Grillmaster 5000 while topless girls dance around and play in his pool. OK, that might be an exaggeration, but the point is that the meat is cooked perfectly, and the atmosphere is that of down home good times. It’s not flashy. It’s not corporate. There’s no «flair.» It’s all about the meat, and I’m here to tell you, the meat is masterful. Especially when paired with one of the sauces. Mouth-watering is the most apt description of what happens when you walk through the door. That smell. That look. That taste. It’s why BBQ will always be a part of life here. It’s an institution, and Big Daddy is the dean.

Big Daddy’s potato was pretty good, but it looks like a heart attack.

With a nice corner spot in downtown Jenks, Big Daddy’s hit the spot for a quick lunch. It was about 90 when we got there, so we weren’t able to take advantage of the outdoor seating. The service was friendly, the interior of the restaurant is basic with some nice old farming tools decorating the walls. There were 3 types of BBQ sauce on the table — sweet, medium and hot. We ordered the single meal(dinner) and a pulled pork sandwich. The pork sandwich was served on a styrofoam plate(please can we move to paper) with a few pickles, jalapenos and onions on the side. The sandwich was fairly small but the meat was tender but not that smoky tasting. The ribs were ordered with a side of slaw and beans. The slaw was too mayonaissy and thick, I would have preferred it to be a bit lighter, but hey. The beans were goopy and sweet. A thick slice of white bread was served on top of the ribs. The 2 ribs were on the dry side with not much meat, and none of the fat that you’d expect at the end of the rib. Local place, nice service, OK ‘cue
