While visiting Tulsa, I took my sister here for her birthday because she said it was her favorite place to eat. I soon found out why. We were greeted as we walked in and showed to our table. Our server arrived next and was very helpful in making suggestions on what to order. She also said that she would bring my sister a birthday surprise. My sister ordered the lunch enchiladas, I ordered the lunch enchilada combo and my wife ordered the Chicken Fajitas. After we stuffed ourselves with chips and fresh salsa, which was scrumptious, our meals arrived. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The portions were very adequate. After our meal, our server brought out a big plate of sopapeas and honey for the birthday surprise. We had a great meal, great service in a very nice atmosphere. If I lived in Tulsa I would eat here every week. Hope i can come back soon.

I went to Los Cabos while I was visiting Tulsa. It was Cinco de Mayo and we had to go to a Mexican restaurant! It was extremely busy, but not anymore than any other Mexican Restaurant that night. The restaurant is large enough to hold a lot of people. The servers are quick to make their rounds, even when at full capacity. I got the brisket tacos, and they were delicious. Don’t expect slices of brisket though, it’s not like that. I do wish they were bigger, as they were the best part of the meal.

We really enjoy going to Los Cabos on a nice night and sitting out on the patio listening to the band. However, sometimes it can be very packed and hard to get a table. Be patient, because it is usually pretty quick to get a table. The drinks are good and the salsa is OK. We like to share the fajitas, perfect amount of food. They do not take reservations except for large groups. The location is what makes Los Cabos fun. The Jenks Riverwalk is on the ups and it is nice to walk down the Riverwalk after dinner. It is really nice when there are bands in the summer and there is water in the river!

Fun place to come for Mexican food especially in the warm weather when you can sit outside. My first margarita wasn’t that flavorful, but probably my fault as I was trying to do something with not much sugar. The second one was different and better. Our waiter was very attentive. We sat in the back room since our group had 14 people. It was really noisy back there with other big parties, but hey, it is a popular place, I get it! We started out with the queso, which was really good and addicting. Then I had the steak fajitas, they were good. Their food is good, but I am giving them 3 stars because their food is not over the top good. I guess I prefer more hole in the wall authentic places. But we did have a good meal and a great time.

We’re still big fans. I’ve had about half the menu. Great guac, great queso, great fajita steak. Great«Mexican» classic cocktails. Though I think a couple of our favorite servers have moved on– overall the service remains excellent here. The plight of the Riverwalk may have slowed down their business over the years. But this place is still the jewel of the Arkansas. Consistently delivers quality food & service at fair prices. One of the few places that can handle the church lunch crowd of 16 as capably as it can the Friday night dinner date. Keep up the good work, LC!

This is the place to go in south Tulsa if you want decent Mexican. I have been spilt by eating top quality Tex-Mex in Texas, but this is only decent Tex-Mex. Service is great however and location is nice. It is always busy especially at the weekends… Don’t expect to be overwhelmed by the food but as long as your expecting ok Mexican food you should be fine!

The waitress dropped a full alcoholic drink all over our baby. This was an honest mistake, and she was very apologetic, but we were really surprised when we got our bill that they hadn’t taken anything off, or even offered to. That seems kind of like Good Restauranting 101, no? Our one year old was seriously dripping with sticky drink, cried from the surprise, had to have a complete change of clothes and a bath after, and not even a drink taken off the bill. They actually initially charged us for TWO drinks, counting the one she spilled and its replacement. When they took the bill away to fix this, we thought for sure they’d knock both off due to the issue, but nope. The salsa and queso were great, but this lack of service was really shocking.

Food wasn’t anywhere near delicious or crafted in the kitchen. The tomatoes weren’t fresh and the tortilla was stale. Really disappointed that with all of the good places to go I ended here for a meal on a short trip.

Haven’t been here in several months because new places have moved into area. It’s a go to place for special occasions, but not to night. I wanted to try the Special. Stuffed chicken and spinach. Chicken was charred and left it dry and no flavor at all. Spinach tasted like burnt smokey chicken. Didn’t finish the one breast meal. Beans had no flavor, which I used to rate LC beans as one of the best in town. Wife had the Three Amigos Enchiladas. ALL were dry and crispy at both ends! Very little chili on cheese enchilada, white sauce on chicken was thick and hard, while the yellow cheese on beef was okay but a bit over heated causing it to be crispy too on the edges. Burnt chicken(Special of Night) was the kicker! You’d think being the Special that it would be worth eating!

Food is okay, for sure have had better Mexican. Everything was salty, the kids didn’t really eat theirs due to it. Waitress wasn’t friendly. We also had never been so when she asked would we like guacamole, sour cream, and queso we said yes… For the record that will cost you $ 17sh bucks. We won’t be back.

I’ve always heard how great this place was from family who are local to the area. The food in my opinion was good, not great. Rice and beans were too salty for me, service was average, and being my first time, I was shocked at the price of additional items that I’m accustomed to being complimentary such as sour cream and queso. The hostess that greets you was very friendly, and we were seated immediately. It was not during dinner hours, so that may have affected the service.

When you want great service and great texmex style Mexican, this is the place to go! They are often very busy, it’s gets really loud, and the prices are a bit on the high side(hence only four stars), but I’ve always had great service and delicious food here.

It’s literally NUTS how bad this place is. Tex Mex at its worst. A cavernous hall of people fed by the shovelful of beans, rice and whatever excuse for Tex-Mexican food the poor workers can conjure up in a reasonable time frame. You can tell a restaurant’s ethics by its bar. This place has weak drinks but I guess if you like sweet and sour they got you covered. Frankly it’s tough paying for the swill they serve. Especially when the waiter is steering you to order the most expensive margarita on the menu since it’s «the best margarita in Tulsa» for the past 8 years(no one went broke underestimating the bad taste of the American public I guess). Luckily I avoided that trap just by reading the ingredient list(sweet and sour=sickly sweet/weak drink) but two in my party fell into the trap. Of course they regretted it and asked for new drinks since they specifically asked for a decent margarita. To his credit, the waiter did try admirably to defend Los Cabos bottom line by reminding us that these margaritas are beloved customer favorites and have been«Tulsa’s favorite margarita for the past 8 years»… The coup de grace came when my dinner was literally inedible. I had a metal, black, hexagonal hardware NUT amidst a plate of black beans… The photo below is worth a thousand words(and barely suppressed gags) so I’ll let it speak for itself. The waiter and manager did their best and it’s not their fault. They comped the food and the couple who was celebrating their birthday. Honestly the surprise in the food was more entertaining that the sad trio of mariachis singing and woefully blowing a sad, small, tin trumpet and our party enjoyed all the puns they could muster. At the end of the day… Los Cabos could be defined in English as «the end». I think it’s fitting for my last experience.

I’ve always been a big fan of Los Cabos. However, I just ordered take out and found very long blonde hairs in my salsa! Not one hair… but multiple! Extremely disgusting. For a company that prides itself on its SALSA you would think this would never happen. Such an easy thing to prevent… Really disappointed in Los Cabos.

Ate here on a Thursday evening & we were seated very quickly. Service was excellent– very quick with getting drinks & your orders. Food was brought out before you can even think about finishing your chips & salsa. Food was nice & hot(don’t burn yourself on the hot plate). We didn’t order any mixed drinks, but after seeing all the big drinks going by, I wished I should’ve. Lots of staff on hand & our waitress Teresa was perfect! Restaurant has a loud & fun atmosphere & a place for all kinds.

I attended a private event setup on the grass by the river. They weren’t expecting vegetarians so they immediately had the kitchen make a separate vegetarian entrée for me. The staff was extremely attentive. It was sweltering hot but their quick service put us at ease(maybe it’s cause they kept the drinks coming). I hope I would get the same service if I came back as a small group. They really stepped it up to attend a group of 30 – 40. The margaritas, guac, black beans, queso and chips(very thin) were fantastic.

We had a table of 7. We ordered the white Queso and some green salsa. Both were good and along with the house red salsa and delicious thin chips, I could have made a meal. We ordered a wide variety of meals including fried avacados, various burritos, and enchiladas. Everything was hot, tasty, and well presented. The bean side was excellent. Our service was superb and we very much enjoyed our dinner.

Best baby back ribs in Tulsa! Never thought I would say that about a Mexican restaurant, but wow! They were offering the ribs for just a few dollars more with our two orders of double fajitas, so we went ahead and got them just to try. WOW… hands down some of the best I’ve ever had!!!

Los Cabos was fantastic! I stopped in on a Friday night and the place was packed, however, this didn’t effect the quality of service or the attitude of the servers. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. It was a bit too chilly to sit outside on the patio overlooking the river, but the interior was equally impressive. Dimly lit, great décor, felt like an authentic experience, or, at least, my idea of an authentic experience. I really enjoyed it! I had the Chimichanga which was stuffed with beef and came with queso and sour cream drizzle. The girlfriend had the Chicken Flautas, also delicious. I’m looking forward to returning to Los Cabos and trying more of their extensive menu. They are fairly priced for the quality of service and food that you receive. They also have a ton of drink options, including a «Sooner Swirl» for all of you familiar with the Mont’s Swirl in Norman.

You bet I’m a fan of fresh and flavorful Mexican food, consistently great service,(I think there are at least a hundred employees bussing tables, refilling chips/salsa and serving on a busy weekend night!), outdoor seating and live music! I’ve come to eat a feast and to just enjoy a drink overlooking the riverwalk. Their margs and beer menu is exceptional! And when I say ‘feast’ I mean it. I can’t imagine how many dishes that wash everyday with plate after plate of food. Ya, you probably guessed by now their portion sizes are enormous. I went recently w/my husband. He ordered the steak/chicken fajitas and I the brisket tacos. Steak is the way to go here; I wasn’t completely impressed by the chicken. The brisket tacos were full of meat and flavor. I chose the black beans as my side and I’d never thought I’d say«the beans stole the show» but they did! They were perfectly prepared and fresh. They have wonderful white queso! It’s on the thicker/heavier side though so be careful not to eat too much before the meal. The complimentary salsa is fantastic and on the spicier side. The ambiance is just… fun! This is not a place to come for a quiet meal. Besides holding a ton of seating inside, there’s a mariachi band.
