Just like all the other restaurants in this group, this one excels on all fronts. The food is fantastic and at a perfect price point. The service is great as well as the atmosphere. Appetizers– Meatballs, so soft and delicious, served with ricotta and shaved parmesan, the red sauce is one of the best. Cappellini alfredo cakes– Just awesomeness. Dinner I had the Bronx Tail Veal Cutlet Lightly breaded veal tenderloin, hot and sweet peppers, d.o.p. Plum tomato marinara, sharp provolone, I skipped the homemade pasta for spaghetti squash, another great reason to go to Fanatico or any other restaurant in this group, if you do the low carb thing, you can substitute spaghetti squash for pasta. The veal was great, tender and tasty. Wife had the Homemade Rigatoni Chicken Marsala Prosciutto, housemade cubed mozzarella, mushroom marsala wine sauce, enough for her to take home and have it for lunch the next day. Friends had a beautiful fish special and the Macaroni and cheese, both outstanding. You can not have a bad meal here, and I have eaten at all their restaurants on multiple occasions and have yet to have a dissatisfying experience at any of them.

Ordered takeout 5:30 on a Thurs. fettuccine Alfredo, 2 slices of Sicilian and 1 grandma… I was told it would be 20 minutes but I arrived in 10 with no traffic. It was not busy and told them I knew I was early. Within 3 minutes, my order was ready. Started eating 5 minutes later at home and all the food was room temp! The fettuccine was stuck together as if no one stirred the pot or itwasreheated? The sauce was separated, bland and barely warm. Not edible! Come on… it’s pasta! What was even worse was the Sicilian… raw dough, cool sauce and ½ a pound of globed cheese on top of each slice! Where was the cook? The bill came to $ 26 and i threw all but the 1 slice of grandma(which I heated up) out! Won’t make the mistake of ordering from this place again. Don’t know what happened to what used to be a decent place. Sorry for the bad review but they have been raising their prices and the quality has been going down!

This place is the absolute worst. Nothing fanatico about fanatico and definitley not a fan. Came in for dinner after a long day of shopping and I guess so did the entire neighborhood. I don’t mind waiting for food if the food is good, not the case here. From the moment we met our server I knew it wasn’t going to be a good night. Worse service ever in my life. I have never fekt so much anger towards a server. Slow, unattentive, wrong orders, never checked on us after taking our orders and even though food took forever she neevr came by to ask how we were doing. Food here is bleh, as in Id rather go to Olive Garden. Do your self a favor and have some swedish meatballs at Ikea instead…

Over priced but decent portions. I had the skinny Girl with salmon and it was delish the first time. When I went back the portion seemed smaller the salmon was dried out and the veggies were cold. Pasteria has the same dish a little cheaper I’ll go there next time.

I have been here twice within a three week period. The food is delicious. I haven’t been disappointed ever BUT. Two times in a row the service was way way below par. The waitresses did not check up on us often enough. In fact it was almost like they were too busy… We sat with our menus for over 20 minutes after we received our drinks. Had to ask for more water, etc. Great food … The service was not on the same level at all.

Long waits for mediocre food in an overpriced Strip mall location. Used to be a regular and have watched it deteriorate. Last Friday took family and in laws there, paid the $ 350 dollar check and vowed to never come back after watching a quarter filled martini taken off the bar by the bartender, waiting an hour + for food, sitting with an empty water cup for 25 minutes(while eating arribiata sauce), dealing with a waitress who smelled like a dirty ashtray, and various other missteps I can’t seem to recall. At the end When we were walking out I complained to hostess who was nice during our wait and she asked if there’s anything she could do. I said yes, I don’t want anything financially I just want the owner or manager to call me so I can explain why I will never come back. I left my number and never heard back and that’s why this review is being written. Unilocalers don’t waste your time on this place, Chris and Tonys puts it to shame. Eddies pizza puts it to shame.

I stopped in quite randomly when my GPS listed Italian places, and I picked a place for its’ name, «Fanatico.» Quite pleased with my decision and more than pleased with everything ordered I cannot wait to go back and have more off this exciting menu. Short version: decent place, quite busy at times(which means fresh!), pizza solid, but some pasta dishes a bit too salty, prices are ok(better place for lunch) This place has a solid plain slice, which means their pizza is solid. Grandma slice was good. I really like their pasta Emilio, just have to ask to hold the sodium. They were more than happy to substitute chicken(instead of sausage) for me the time I was trying to cut back on red meat, and it was still delicious! Chicken parm also solid but salty, and my friend has had their salad and is a fan. Service is standard, though people who greet/seat you could be nicer/look a little less annoyed. I’ve had a sweet Italian lady serve a few times, and she was quite pleasant. When it’s busier, though, you might have to work/wait a while for a beverage refill.

Great place to have lunch. They have an extensive lunch menu, lots of choices. I found the salads excellent. Love the egg plant stack. A perfect lunch for me. My friend and I meet couple of times here and always leave satified. The meat ball platter is plenty that you have to take home part of the lunch for another meal. A must try for a good Italian restaurant.

Typical Long Island southern Italian«red sauce» place. Some items were very good while others were meh. My thoughts on the rigatoni alla mama were identical to another review… bland sauce, ok meatball and rigatoni that was way too large, no ridges and cooked to mush. I have a hard time believing it’s truly homemade. Burrata was outstanding, though, and so was the eggplant Napoleon salad. Definitely a place that your experience will vary depending upon what you order. I’d go back if it’s convenient to meet someone or if I lived in the area. Just wouldn’t drive out of my way to go there.

My family’s favorite local restaurant. We all enjoy all of the food and have our favorites. Friendly staff and most of the time are seated right quick. Occasionally you wait a bit but it’s worth it. The stuffed rigatoni bolognese is unreal!

Fanatico is fantastico! Wonderful setting, Wonderfuller service, Wonderfullest food. Superlative descriptions are in order! My drinks and bread came out within a minute of being seated. My food came out in under 10 minutes. The Chicken Parmigiana, was pricey, but large. Proportional prices. Plus, it tasted wonderful. Then I ordered dessert, which also came out very quickly. I ordered the Lava Cake w/ice cream which was the perfect blend of hot+cold and chocolate+vanilla. Still, it was a bit pricey at $ 12. However, I won’t confiscate a star for that because it was sizable enough to share.

Long wait for a late Friday night. Ordered a pasta dish that a friend recommended, the cavatelli sardina, which was great. Macaroni and cheese was incredibly oily and the last pasta dish we ordered that I can’t remember had incredibly bland risotto under it. I would recommend this place for the cavatelli sardina only. Nothing else caught my eye.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Fanatico and I forgot how amazing their menu is. It is rare for me to have so much trouble trying to decide what to order… there are about 15 choices that I kept going back and forth with. What I really love is that besides the pasta dishes, most have a ample amount of veggies with the protein… so it is easy to make a healthy and exciting choice. I still got the California Salad which is a mound of shredded iceberg verses a solid wedge… love it. They said that they now take reservations which is great because it can get very crowded. Priced well too.

Second time I’ve been here and both times I have come the food has been very good. Service is not bad but not great.(Could be more friendly) The chicken Sinatra was delicious came with eggplant, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers in a Francese sauce. Perfectly seasoned, and the sauce was sop the plate up with bread good. Potato croquette was tasty, but was cold/cool in the middle. They probably make them ahead, stick them in the freezer/fridge and fry them to order. Needed to be cooked longer. I came hungry and finished my entire meal and so did the person I came with, so don’t expect to take home leftovers. I enjoy the food here and it’s close to home, so I’ll be back. Watch out for the drivers in the parking lot though, they are bad, very bad.

I’ve been back now three or four times since my first visit. I’ve been pleased each & every time with the food. I love that at Fanaticos when you order a pasta dish like rigatoni or tortellini, it’s home made! Where else in LI can you find a restaurant with the same reasonable prices for homemade rigatoni? The texture is perfect! The pasta has just enough bite being cooked al dente to perfection & the sauces are always spot on. I had chicken francese not too long ago & asked for a salad instead of pasta & was pleased when my chicken was served with mashed potato croquettes. Last night my friend & I shared chicken parm & tortellini carbonara. Both were superb. I will continue to dine at Fanaticos again & again!

A — mazing food A — wesome service A — bsolutely coming back here! I dare say I had the best fried calamari ever here. The penne a la vodka with grilled chicken? Holy moly. And now I’m no wine connoisseur, but the Sauvignon Blanc went perfectly with our meal. That is all.
