I was about to pass out famished on day while driving by this little strip mall area. I saw the golden arches of McDonalds and went to pull in only to find it was CLOSED! I was so so so hungry that I looked around to see if there were any other restaurants in the strip mall and saw a Blimpie. I decided I would rather eat a sub than die. As soon as I opened the front door I realized I would have rather died than even think about walking in this place. It was disgusting, the walls, the floors, the tables and chairs, the ceiling… but I had committed to my empty stomach that I would eat a sub so I pressed on. I walked to the counter and ordered. I’m not sure what the scariest thing in there was: the clientele, the food, or the workers. I blacked out while they were making my sub, I think to protect myself from the horrors in food safety probably going on behind the counter. Then I paid and ran on out of there! I came to in my car and tried to take a bite but it was probably the most disgusting sub of my life. Not exactly sure how deli meats have gristle? Needless to say, my sandwich was thrown away uneaten and I have vowed to never return! The Blimpie Corporation should do themselves a favor and just shut this location down before someone gets sick!

The worst Blimpie ever. Bread is definitely not fresh. I honestly think they are using left over breads from other locations. I tried it a second time to give it a chance. But it seems like it is the norm here to have crappy bread.
