Recently discovered this gem through a coworker. From the outside looks like your typical bodega —(not my closest bodega, so i probably wouldn’t have known what great sandwiches they sell). I haven’t actually been in myself, but ordered from here a good ½ dozen times. Each time has been great, no complaints. I’ve ordered a few different sandwiches, from the tuna, Philly cheesesteak to the most recently– chicken cheesesteak & all have been awesome! The bread is nice & soft, fillings have all been fresh & flavorful, the sandwiches are always wrapped very neat and prices are great! All in all good stuff!

So, this ain’t just ya typical corner store in a part ‘o town dat da rest of Jerzee Citeh haz fahgotton about, aight? I ordered ham, egg and cheese. Da sandwich… not just ham on top of egg on top of cheese… whatsamattahwityou? Anyway, the sandwich was really good… it lingered in my mouth 20 minutes after I had eaten it. It was like, free seconds. Visualize that. The bread was thin, not thin enough for you to want your money back, but thin enough for you to not feel guilty about your bread/carb intake… but thick enough to feel like you had dug through a bed of roses and rich soil with a shovel(ya teeth) before striking… GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDD. I love gold.

The best sandwiches in Jersey City. I usually get a tuna loaded w everything and toasted w cheese, they actually nick named it La granada because of the jalepenos, onions, mustard n salt nd pepper etc. The other selections are amazing as well, Cheese Steak, Chicken Cutlet, Hot Pastrami I think I’m about to order one now… The owners are twin Brothers, cool ppl, always nice and making my food in a timely fashion. No long wait. Best thing to do is to call in and by the time you get there its done, about 5 to 10 minutes depending on how crowded it is.
