Surprised at the negative reviews. Every time I order from here the food is delicious and they have quick delivery. Great penne vodka, shrimp Francese, meatball Parm sub and cold heros. I would never order from here based on some of the photos but I’m convinced one or two of the Unilocalers meant to leave those posts for another place. I’m glad I tried Bueno, I order here now once a week.

We order here from work and lately the food has been horrible. Today, our food was delivered cold, specifically the fries and the gravy on the hot roast beef sandwich was so cold that it was actually congealed. The $ 4 tiramisu came frozen. So much freshness!!! To boot they charge $ 3 for delivery within the same town!!! Rip off… save your money and go some place else! So disappointed that we threw out the menu!

I don’t even want to give 1 star to this place. The pizza is very badly cooked. Doesn’t taste good at all. On top of that, when I ordered for thin crust, what I got was a regular crust pizza. The customer service is very bad and the owner is very rude. This place should be shut down for good. Not recommended to anyone

I’m surprised the reviews here are so negative. I have been ordering delivery from here frequently for years, and have never had any issue with the food nor the delivery time. I stick to a few staples that I alternate between, and am very satisfied every time. Their subs(hot and cold) are delicious and generously sized. Their roast beef & gravy sub is a favorite, along with the proscuitto, mozz & roasted pepper sub. Their pasta dishes are also great and always huge portions. I’ve never had but my coworkers love the pizza here. I’ve honestly never had a bad experience ordering from here. I’ve eaten at the location once, but it’s really meant to be a take-out or delivery spot.

Sandwiches are pretty big but mostly because the bread takes up 75%. I do have to agree with the comments of lame ass customer service. The homepage of their website says«$ 5.00 off your first order online» But it’s expired. They told me it’s their website guy’s fault and it «should’ve been taken down a year ago.» Okay, but it’s not! So, honor the promotion your business is actively promoting, or make sure to take it down! They wouldn’t even split the difference, and so, for $ 2.50 they will probably never see me ordering from there again.

I ordered(online) the Italian chicken salad and french fries(gotta balance out the good). It arrived earlier than estimated and was delivered by a lovely older gentleman. The french fries were crispy and yummy. The salad was HUGE — lots of fresh vegetables and a TON of chicken. I was ready to dig in: I took a bite and… wasn’t too disappointed that the chicken was dry, but that thing was SAL! TY! I’m talking Kids In The Hall«salty ham» skit come to life. I actually tried to rinse off the chicken — scrubbed, even — but that salt was INTHERE. The chicken was inedible. They must’ve marinated it in the Dead Sea. What a shame, AND a waste. I ate the rest of the salad, which was good, but not what I wanted. I’d try them again, but probably nothing with any sort of meat.

Bad food and disgusting customer service. We ordered three pies, and every single one arrived scrunched up against one side of its box. They had clearly been dropped(see the pictures I just uploaded to here). When I called to explain what had happened, the restaurant told me that I must have be mistaken because the delivery guy had never dropped anything in his life. Ridiculous! They refused to issue us a refund, a discount, or a replacement order. Instead, they told me that there was nothing they could do because they were now closed and abruptly hung up on me. I couldn’t believe it. Spare yourself the grief and order from a proper pizza place, Buon Appetito doesn’t deserve your business.

I have ordered regularly from this restaurant delivery via the seamless app. I live on the opposite side of Jersey City so it would sometimes take an hour to arrive, but that’s to be expected with the traffic cross-city. I learned recently that they no longer deliver to my area and I’m quite devastated. Their food is fantastic! I’ve had several dishes; entrees, salads, soups, appetizers, desserts, pizzas and was not disappointed once. I especially love their vodka sauce and would get penne vodka as a side for several of their entrees. Their pizzas are really delicious too. I’m bummed they don’t deliver here anymore but if I ever get to the other side of Jersey City, I’ll have to actually stop in and see what it’s like inside. Highly highly recommend. PS — I’ve ordered delivery at least a dozen times and never had a bad experience with the drivers and my order was always correct.

Last time ordering from here I ordered a chicken Cesar salad and to say the least I wasn’t impressed. The chicken tasted burnt and the croutons was even nastier. To top off of the experience the delivery man was terrible and rude!

My go-to for ordering pizza in. It’s nice to have a classic Jersey style pizza place mixed in with so many of the brick oven/neopolitan pizza places in the area. I wouldn’t go there to eat — it’s not much of a restaurant but the pizza is consistently good and I’ve always had a really positive experience with their food.

So let me start off by saying. I used to LOVE this place. I used to order here ALL the time. I was definitely one of their most frequent customers. The past few times I have ordered, food has been VERY late and the drivers haven’t been so nice. Tonight the driver crossed the line. He was 30 minutes late for an already 1 hour delivery time. When he got here he tried to get me to come downstairs to pick up the food. I asked him to come up and he started yelling at me and cursing on the phone. He then drove away because he «couldn’t find anywhere to park.»(There were plenty of safe places for him to double park his car where he would be out of the way from traffic.) I called the restaurant and though I was told the driver was coming, I was given attitude the entire time. Eventually the woman said the driver would be «Ripped a new asshole.»(Great way to talk to your customers.) I waited again for another 20 minutes where I then called and spoke to a manager who assured me a new driver would be bringing my food as I told him I didn’t feel comfortable having a man come up here who was just yelling and cursing at me on the phone. The same driver ended up bringing my food upstairs and then proceeded to yell at me. I felt unsafe and closed and locked my door. My food was cold and part of my order was missing. I called back again furious, but tried to speak calmly. I was spoken to very disrespectfully and was told the best they can do is credit my next order. They wouldn’t even comp my order tonight. As someone who ordered from here all the time, I WILLNEVEREVERORDERFROMHEREAGAIN. THEYSPEAKTOTHEIRCUSTOMERSHORRIBLYANDVERYDISRESPECTFULLY. I have ordered many times from this restaurant for delivery. Their pizza is just what I expect in a pizza. Delivery time is reasonable as are their prices. those making the delivery have always been courteous and professional.

So I’m shocked at the one star discrepancy between this place on Unilocal and on seemless(one full star higher on seemless). I think seemless is more accurate ;) Great chicken Caesar salad and my boy had chicken Parmesan that he thought was amazing! They seem to be a great, authentic Italian spot! I’m looking forward to trying more!

Normally I like this place but today they pissed me off… I order the Italian hotdog… yes I know it’s messy but explain to me how your establishment doesn’t have a knife that can through hotdogs you threw on my bread… also the bread is split on both sides. Yay. Update: after attempting to eat it I had to downgrade the score. If you can imagine 4 mustard slathered hot dogs on a plate with a side of bread saturated with ketchup… paired with onions and peppers lined up against tin foil. One of the onion piles contained the tip of the onion with the stem(you know, the part you throw away)… extremely disappointed and threw it away. Look, the place makes decent food normally but if you were me and this is what you had to eat while at work, you’d call and complain… I don’t have that kind of time. Moving along… oh and by comparison Villa makes a much better version.

For starters, me and my coworkers order from here multiple times a week. We usually get the same order repeated but the last couple of times the chicken fingers have been burned. We didnt call because we understand its lunch rush hour and what not and people arent perfect. This time(the 4th time) we decided to call. The chicken was dry and dark brown(see picture). We were going to ask if for next time the chicken not be cooked the same but when I spoke to someone they put me on hold for a moment and then asked me if the chicken was black because«[she] wouldn’t send out black chicken» and I explained the past incidents and the current chicken we had received. And her excuse was«Well I have to make sure the chicken is cooked inside too.» Seriously? A restaurant that has to burn food to make sure its cooked? That doesnt make sense since the other food was great.

order delivery a Pasta Taormina with Linguine for $ 11.95 with $ 1.00 delivery fee excluding tax and tips. Total of $ 14.93 Delievered on time. The food is good and hot when it got to my hand. They give decent amount of shrimps and tons of broccoli and garlic. It came with a bread. The way they put the bread is kind not good. They just placed the bread in the paper bag along with utensil, food with container, napkins, ketchup packs. Come on, why not put a bread in a separate paper bag or a container. I don’t feel save to eat the bread. the food itself tasty but very oily. Reading other people reviews about cleanliness of this restaurant making me doesn’t wanna order from this place anymore.

I used to enjoy ordering from this restaurant because the food was good but after this last experience with them I will have to think, at least 3 times, before ever beginning to dial their number again. I’ve ordered many things off their menu and decided that I wanted to give their buffalo wings a try. On their menu it says this: Buffalo Wings:(10)… 6.95 (20)… 11.95 I wasn’t having a party so the 40 and 60 options didn’t matter. The price for the 20 piece sounded like a great deal so my husband placed the order on the phone. All of a sudden all these questions popped up: «Breaded or No Breading?»(No Breading) «Bone in or Boneless?»(Bone In) «What Type of Sauce?»(Wait, what? Buffalo sauce, you know, hot sauce) We scratched our heads because none of these options are even mentioned in the menu, whatsoever, but we went along with the order. We also ordered a medium cheesesteak and my husband went to pick up the food. When he came back I asked how much it came out to. He goes«$ 28 something». Whoa wait, the total should have been around $ 21 and some change. So naturally I’m wondering what the hell happened. My husband called the restaurant and spoke to someone on the phone. They told him that what he ordered was something called«Atomic Wings» and that that’s a different price than the buffalo wings. NONE of this was mentioned on the phone when we placed the order. Not a single«hey this option costs more». Because silly me for thinking that buffalo wings are bone-in, non-breaded wings with actual buffalo sauce on them. My mom was fuming and decided to call the restaurant herself to get an answer as to why the hell none of this is mentioned on their menu. First thing out of the mouth of the person who picked up the phone was«Ugh, I thought we handled this already??». Wonderful start. My mom was then handed to, who she was told was, the manager who then proceeded to get irate on the phone with my mother about how what we ordered aren’t actually buffalo wings and if we want what we thought the price was for, that we should bring the food back and they exchange it. They never even explained what these«Actual Buffalo Wings» are. My mom pointed out that we had already eaten one of the wings so they said«oh well» and when my mom got pissed off, they hung up the phone on her. Just hung up. There’s a secret menu in this restaurant that apparently only the assholes who run it know about and they will upcharge you for anything they’d like. They even tried to charge me $ 3 dollars extra once when I asked them for a chicken parm sandwich with the chicken in a separate container. Just forget this place.

Just moved and now I’m closer to Buon Appetito than Delenio’s. I’ll be satisfied making this my new go-to spot. First of all, there are literally a million options on their menu: pastas, chicken dishes, hot subs, cold subs, salads, calzones, etc. Gosh. My bf and I ordered tortellini in vodka sauce and the chicken rollatini in Marsala sauce, and they made it to order. We were there on a Sunday night and could see them printing out Seamless orders one after another, so they were pretty busy. Good to see they were making things fresh. The food took about 15 mins. Both dishes were yummy! Not the best vodka sauce I’ve had, but still quite good. The tortellini was a good choice. The chicken was super juicy and had a ridiculous/amazing amount of gooey mozzarella stuffed inside. Seems like this’ll be a good spot for Sunday night Italian.
