We got mozzarella stick and onion rings. Mozzarella sticks were great, but the onion rings were more like fried rings of dough. I think I was initially turned off of them when I opened the Styrofoam box they were in and noticed parts of the box had melted from the freshly friend rings being thrown in. The idea of melted foam chemicals in my food may have impacted this review.

If you’re hungry, don’t order from here. I was prepared for the 50 minute estimated preparation and delivery time, but 90 minutes was unacceptable. When I called to inquire about the delay the woman said, «It’s worth the wait. We’re popular.» The delivery guy called and made us come to the car. And the food was cold. I don’t know how this place can be «popular» when you don’t get your food or it’s cold and soggy. Don’t waste your money. There are lots of options in downtown Jersey City.

So many signs telling me to stay away, but I was just so curious. All of the current reviews warned against delivery, so we ordered for pick up via . We received the usual confirmation from but didn’t hear anything from the restaurant so we shot them a call. The lady who answered the phone didn’t introduce themselves as Atomic Wings rather a different name(it all makes sense now but I will explain that later) and we had to clarify that we had called the right place — apparently we had. We asked about our order and even before we could give her our order she just said it’d be ready in 45 minutes and hung up. We had a lot of trouble finding the restaurant and had to take to Google Maps to figure it out. Hint — there is no sign that says«Atomic Wings.» Nada. If it wasn’t for Unilocal we would have continued wandered around aimlessly. Apparently they share a location with Buon Appetito(that’s what the lady answered the phone as) which specializes in pizza. Cautiously we approached the counter that were stacked high with pizza boxes next to a heating case of pizzas and asked if they were atomic wings and the guy handed us our order. Hmmm. pizza and wings. Ok, sure whatever. Now to the food, first of all they had a great deal on wings! We ordered 30 wings total, half honey barbecue and half medium buffalo all coming out to $ 23. Along with each 15 wing order they gave us about ½ a cup of blue cheese and a laughable piece of celery that was sliced to create the illusion of multiple pieces. The wings were a decent size, not bad and fried well. I wasn’t a fan of the buffalo sauce, it was more buttery than spicy. The honey barbecue sauce was delicious and my favorite of the two. The blue cheese was pretty great too. To sum it up — cheap wings, hit and miss flavors, sketch location/restaurant. I’ll let you make the decision.

Not recommended, but not the worst in the area(ahem…Cluck-U on West Side…) I’m always on the hunt for good hot wings: crispy outside, tender meat, soaked in delicious, delicious sauce. Sadly, this is near impossible to find in Jersey City. I’ve ordered from this Atomic Wings twice; once for delivery to the office and a pickup order on Superbowl Sunday. The quality was consistent, but that’s NOT a good thing. The delivery order wasn’t anything too complex. Four orders of 10 pieces each: two boneless, two traditional. Each had a different sauce. Despite being just about a mile away from the office, delivery took about an hour and a half. The wings arrived lukewarm, soggy, and greasy. All of that could be overlooked(and expected) but where Atomic Wings failed so notably was their sauce: with over 8 to choose from and choices such as ‘Abusive’, ‘Nuclear’, and ‘Suicidal’ on the list, they managed to botch the heat. ‘Suicidal’, while not totally lacking in flavour, would be lucky to be called ‘mild’ at most bars or pubs. Ironically, the ‘Hot’ packed a bit more punch. Craving wings for the Superbowl, I gave them another go. Unsurprisingly, it took a good 15 minutes for them to process my Seamless order but they actually managed to get the order in, cooked, and bagged within 20 minutes of placing the order. Given the chaos of a half dozen delivery guys rushing in and out of the tiny storefront, that was pretty impressive. I went with a 10pc order of boneless Suicidal, figuring they just left something out of their sauce that first time around. Nope… still pretty tame. Paired with an order of soggy fries, it made for a greasy, unsatisfying meal. All things considered, though, their golden garlic sauce isn’t too bad.

Ordered here from Seamless and had the worst experience ever. Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had so far using Seamless. I ordered around 730 with an expected wait time of 30 – 45 minutes. Usually if an order is late the restaurant will call.(I received my order close to 9) I called twice(but I should have canceled my order). The first call was ten minutes before an hr after placing my order. She said it should around within 5 –10 minutes. Then abruptly hung up. 17 minutes later I called again. I was hungry and pissed off. This time she said«it’ll be there in a few minutes». So I waited again. I was looking at my window and ten minutes after the 2nd call, I saw the drivers car slowly pull up. He called said he was outside, as he sat his ass in his car. My mom went outside to get the order(I was watching everything from the window) He didn’t go up the stairs, he waited for my mom to go down the stairs as he swung(a little bit of a throw) the bag at my mom. No apology. Just not so good wings, with a weird after taste and a terrible experience. Also note I live less than a mile away. Don’t order from here. Just don’t.

DONOTORDERFROMHERE I ordered a meal from them via Grubhub expecting a pleasant experience but was left severely disappointed and disgusted. The order was almost 2 hours late and arrived stone cold and the pizza was molded with green spots under the dough!!! When I complained I was offered nothing but abuse from the manager. I asked them to send the driver back to collect the food and was met with more profanity. He didn’t want to help! Luckily Grubhub refunded the order but this place needs shut down
