Hudson Diner

Love the atmosphere, the environment and the food is great! Expect to find lunch specials, breakfast all day, and Colombia entrees! Recommend the Paisita!

This is my go to place for lunch. I order from grub hub and conveniently walk down and pick up my order on busy days. My favorite is the Sophi sweet heart sandwich on a hero (no other way to do it but with extra bread) mmm carbs

I went for a walk on Sip Ave during my lunch break today. I passed by this new spot and decided to check it out. Hudson Diner is new to the block, having opened up about three weeks ago.
When I walked in from the street, I was very surprised at how cute it was inside. It has a warm, welcoming feel. There is an old school counter with high chairs, but also dark-​wood tables where you can sit down and enjoy a bite or sip of coffee. It’s refreshing to have another option for eats in the area. Everything is made fresh and to order. From the look of the menu, they offer your classic diner fare but items like empanadas, chicharron, and arepas. I tried an empanada and it was SO good (the chimichurri sauce that came with it was one of the best I’ve had).
The signature sandwiches look good. I know my next order will be one of their specialty omelets (the Primavera or Mexican definitely)… Or maybe the California Veggie Wrap… No wait, maybe a shrimp burrito… There’s just so many options!
The lady behind the counter was super friendly, too, and it looks like there are already regular customers. The food comes out fast, too. And they deliver?! High ratings across the board for Hudson Diner. If you are on Sip, look for the red awning and the miniature chef statue in the window — that’s the place. Go here!
