I am happy to rate them no star at all, stupid parlor ever i visited. Ruthless massage with extra body pains when ended my massage. They keeps on talking in chinese which made me more uncomfortable.

it isn’t a luxury spa so don’t go expecting that… but it probably is one of the better massages i’ve gotten. they aren’t private rooms that has four walls. rather, it’s one large room but each massaging area is separated by partitions and curtains. don’t be alarmed when you hear the person next to you snoring or moaning… you’d peobably be doing the same! they don’t play around here. they walk on your back or get up on the table to apply as much pressure as they can. if you’re shy, then this isn’t for you. my butt cheeks were exposed the entire time so she could massage that too. we got an hour foot massage too last week and it did the job because our feet were no longer achey! this has become our go-​to spot! and no, this isn’t one of those «sketchy» places!
tip: bring cash if you mind them adding 8% tax on your credit card.

Came here a few years ago and it was wonderful. I finally gave in today and treated myself to a much needed massage. $ 50 for an hour and no complaints. You can’t be modest though… i swear the blanket is just there to keep you warm and not really cover you. I don’t mind though because the woman did an amazing job. This will be the onlt place that I go to.

This is the perfect no-​frills, high-​quality Tui-​na massage place. I get a lot of massages but had yet to try this place (even though it’s just a few blocks from my apartment). Anyways, I just went in and it was really an A+ massage. My masseuse was very strong and thorough; it was clear she’s been doing Qi-​gong/​tui-​na for a while. I highly recommend. I am now a loyal customer!

— Solid massage to get those annoying knots out, experience based on at least 6 visits so far
— The ladies do get on top of the table, do not be alarmed, this is to help them apply pressure
— The ladies do not speak perfect English, so try your best to explain, gesture and point if you have to

First time at any massage place in town and first one I came across walking down the street from my house. got right in (it was a Monday), nice hard massage (my therapist asked me if the pressure was good, or if she needed to adjust), ½ hour $ 28 sounds good to me. A hot towel at the end was the icing on the cake. Really couldn’t ask for more.

I’ve been here multiple times for 30 min & 1 hour massages. I’ve always been very happy with them. Prices and hours are unbeatable. If I had to nitpick, there was one massage therapist that didn’t understand me so it was difficult to give direction to her (Winter — Spring 2015). Everyone else I’ve had has been easy to communicate with. They are very friendly and accommodating and always use a hot towel at the end which is a nice relaxing way to finish the massage.

This is still my go-​to massage parlor.
Let’s see why:
1. Basement pricing — just over $ 50 for an hour.
2. I have always come here as a walk in and only had to wait once.
3. They’ve gone through a number of management/​ownership changes in the four plus years that I’ve been going here and aside from the strange man that worked there a couple of years ago I’ve been really pleased with the massages.
4. Sometimes they randomly add free hot stones!
5. I really think there’s something to the method they use — Tui Na: Traditional Chinese massage. Don’t expect deep tissue or to be able to communicate much (unless you speak Mandarin) about what’s going on with your body but they always are able to help me feel better. Open up that chi (

Came here with my girlfriend for an hour massage. I had the husband and he made me sore the next day (no homo). It’s pretty small so I recommend reserve. There are only 3 tables so I don’t know how busy they are but I think for an hour it was 50 bucks a person. I don;t usually get massages but my girlfriend said the price is right.
The décor could be better. Not saying the South Park dolls weren’t good enough but the TV was on in the back room and I heard it over the Asian mellow music.
Other than that the massage was ok. My back, legs, arms, hands, fingers, and neck were cracked a few times and I was chillin and bumming on my couch after it.

Average massage (though I did not have Ella).
Pros: ease of scheduling appointment/​walk-​ins accepted, reasonable pricing
Cons: some concern about hygiene (e.g., moving immediately from my feet to my face), poor temperature regulation (I was cold for most of my massage), spent a lot of time on my face not enough time in the areas of my body that are more prone to tension (neck, shoulders, lower back)
The good news is it’s pretty hard to mess up rubbing oil over my body for one hour. I would probably try another studio in Jersey City before coming back to this place.

A very authentic oriental style massage with reasonable price!
I like to get massage, and I just found this one around me in Jersey City Grove Street area. I called and asked if I could go in within an hour. When I got there, I got to start immediately. Ella is very professional and has very good massage skills! This is what I need after a long day work sitting at the desk!
Although the place is kind of small, it’s very clean and the service is great! I would suggest people to call before they go to avoid wait-​time since there is usually only Ella there.
They have a special promotion: 10 times to get 10% off going forward! It sounds pretty awesome! I will definitely go back! I’m glad to find a traditional massage place in Grove Street neighborhood!
