I went to the pool this morning and had no issues… Which is an amazing thins to find at a FREE swimming pool.
They check bags and make you show ID upon entering. We walked over to a spot that we liked and sat down which is when we noticed that the pool was pleasantly (almost) empty. I went with my fiancé and although this is a family pool with a ton of kids running around they were all so well behaved and sweet.
As far as the bathrooms, they’re fine. Not amazing, not totally horrible but fine. There’s stalls as well as showers and changing rooms. Someone mentioned in another review that the floors were went but maybe that happens later in the day as more people come to the pool. We got there when it opened at 10am and everything was just fine.

Fine swimming pool for a hot day. Day I went the filter seemed to not be working so the water was. kinda hairy. I know… gross, but true. Otherwise a very basic pool, like others have said. No chairs so make sure to bring something to lay on if you need to. Bring as little as you need if you don’t plan to lock it up. Street parking was easy enough.

this is a great improvement from what it used to be when I was growing up however the staff in the front and in the office should be alittle more courteous and friendly. They don’t smile and are not very good at providing information in detail.
there were several women slipping and sliding almost falling and breaking their leg because the womens locker room is super slipper with a lot of water on the ground. they are not really doing their job but instead sitting around which is what I noticed.

This offers a basic lap pool and children’s pool. It’s free and open only to JC residents. Not much else to say — it’s basic.
