Just an update: the equipment isn’t always available. Geri, the instructor and lifeguard(?) told me that the seniors paid for the equipment for the classes so they aren’t really suppose to be used by non class folks. Oh well. I started bringing my own noodle, no biggie.

As the other reviewers have noted, this is a no-frills establishment, but you can’t beat the price, and the pool is pretty great really. Also it’s only $ 3 a swim, or $ 75⁄6 months, and you can’t beat that price. Having moved to JC from Manhattan, I can tell you that this price is amazing, and it’s CLEANCLEANCLEAN! Did I mention it’s CLEAN? Totally worth it.

I like this pool. It’s no frills, but you can’t beat the price($ 3 each swim). If you are looking for fancy stream rooms and amenities, go elsewhere, but if you need to get a mile done and don’t have a pool at your gym, it’s a good option.

Basic year-round indoor lap pool. Even offers SCUBA classes. Parking appears to be street parking. I think it may be open only to JC residents. It’s near a baseball diamond and a children’s park, so there are a few options for other entertainment. I saw an ice rink in a neighboring building, but I guess that’s closed in mid-July…
