I ordered a shrimp parmesan sandwich, french fries, and a lemonade. Instead I received an Italian hero and the rest of my order was correct. I called the restaurant back hoping they could help me but instead the guy on the phone insisted that I ordered and Italian hero when I know I specifically ordered a shrimp parmesan sandwich. I will not be ordering from price of pizza anymore. They insisted there was nothing that they could do and that the kitchen was closing. I’ll be only eating the French Fries because I hate Italian subs.

I ordered dinner from seamless and the meal was so disgusting I couldn’t eat it. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak hero. I’m almost certain they used chicken francese. The lemon flavor combined with the hard American cheese and overwhelming amount of salt made the sandwich inedible. The mozzarella sticks were worse than the kind you could probably buy at Duane Reade. Waste of money. Disgusting.

Great local business, very good slices in a world of over priced wood fired, or crappy chain pie — Prince brings it with solid 80’s style pizza parlor pizza. Haven’t tried much more of the menu, but good fries and cane sugar soda too!

This is the best place for pizza. I always have a buffalo chicken one, so so delicious… I haven’t had such a yummy one all over the area. The staff are very friendly.

I seriously do not understand how this place has been in business for as long it has, given the terrible customer service and inconsistency in the product. This place is a poor excuse for a pizzeria and my only hope is that something better comes along and puts them in their place because there’s really just no excuse. As of tonight, they are losing customers who have been faithful to them for years despite everything they do incorrectly. My husband and I have been ordering the same pizza here for well over a year. It gets messed up at least fifty perfect of the time. They’re out of mushrooms frequently. How does a pizza place run out of mushrooms that often? Or the cook is different and you end up getting a totally different pizza. Or they fail to read the instructions you’ve typed in all caps, every single week for years. Or they forget your soda. Or all of the above. Tonight, they managed to send the wrong pizza again. We ordered the pie with no olives. It came covered in olives. My husband called to get it replaced with the correct pizza, and the girl argued with him about how the order was placed. Now granted, you can’t call and order your pizza with a credit card. You must use a website. But then, they fail to read the instructions YOUHAVETYPEDINALLCAPS. And they argue with you about it. She said she’s apply a credit to our account. He called back to verify the name of the person issuing the credit and amount. $ 2. Two measly dollars for a pizza we now can not eat because we abhor olives and if we pick them all off(which we shouldn’t have to do in the first place), it will pretty much destroy the pizza. So my husband walked the pizza down the street to get it exchanged, because if we had wanted them to do it, they informed me that«I would have to wait». Of course, they did not start the new, correct pizza and when my husband arrived, the girl claimed that we didn’t tell her to start a new one. They had also, by this point, managed to run out of mushrooms. Then she lectured him about how to place the order online. Again. She refused to admit that she had screwed up. AND, one of the guys who always sits around the place doing nothing started harassing my husband, telling the staff that«they should just go tell him to f*ck himself». WTF? How is that acceptable when we have spent money at your establishment? It’s really a shame, because the delivery guy is usually so sweet but I refuse to spend any more money at Prince. They have made it glaringly obvious that they could care less about their customers, quality, atmosphere, or anything else for that matter.

I order all the time from work and never had a problem. I was forced to order online since they wouldn’t take my credit card over the phone. I spoke to the girl over the phone and she insisted they read all the notes on the order all the while having an attitude. I placed my order and half my order came out incorrect and the notes where very clear. I called to complain and she once again answered the phone very nasty and claimed no manager was available. Who is running the store then? The food is amazing but online ordering is horrible and the girl who works there needs a new job or attitude adjustment.

Been getting delivery from PoP for the three years I’ve lived in JC. Five stars doesn’t quit encapsulate the appreciation I have for this place. Delivery drivers are ALWAYS the nicest, most genuine people you’ll come across, really refreshing to see. Pizza is always perfect. For me, it’s the best pie in JC. Can’t say enough nice things

I’ve been ordering from Prince of Pizza for years as it is a local pizza parlor by my university. I usually order the chicken Parmesan sandwich which is. However, I took the plunge and ordered the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo which was delicious. I do wish there was more shrimp but still tasty.

Good delivery time, ordered chicken parm hero which was pretty good. Garlic knots are not really knots but round, small bread with butter and garlic seasoning. It’s ok but not my liking. The hubby ordered penne a la vodka which was pretty good too. Mom ordered meat lasagna which I understand was amazing.

The cheesy garlic bread is bangin’! Overall good food but it is very small place and food isn’t ready on time.

Mediocre food with an attitude. Ordered pizza on phone and they said 20 mins. Arrived 20 mins later in the rain and they hadn’t even started yet. Not apology, just said they were busy and«it happens». If you are busy then say so over the phone. If it is going to take 40 mins says so. If you are not busy when you took the order, then later orderers shouldn’t be made before mine. Stood there another 5 mins before they even started making the pizza and waited a total of 20mins. They said they have been in business for 50 years as if that somehow makes it OK. I am guessing with the poor service they won’t be in business for another 50 years.

I would give them zero stars but that’s not an option. Food is a hit or miss. Today’s cook sucked. Not only did they get my order wrong, the pizza I received was burnt and the pasta was dry. When I called to have it corrected, i heard them yelling and complaining about it in the background. Unprofessional and rude staff. Will never order from there again.

Order: Plain pizza, 15 Wings &2L of Sprite Pizza: A bit soft and doughy, but not limp. The crust for the pizza is slightly thick and chewy. Good sauce and cheese consistency. Some of the cheese may stretch but won’t completely slide off the pizza. Very good overall pie, would recommend. Wings: I ordered them«Sweet & Spicy» however no real saucy flavoring. Tasted like generic fried wings. They were pretty good but would have liked more flavor kick to them without having to use dipping sauce. Arrived in 30 minutes on a Sunday evening. Other notes: I requested Sprite and got Pepsi, delivery guy informed me of this issue on delivery(ran out of Sprite). Not a cola person. :-/ This was very reasonably priced via their coupons section on Eat24. Would order again but maybe not with wings.

Horrible phone manners, 1hr 15 mins to diliver, food was cold and the sandwich was very small plus no napkins, forgot our sodas, the sauce to the wings was spilt all over the food. And we had to wait an hour for them to diliver the sodas.

7 months new to Jersey and the Journal Square area. Have tried several local pizza places, but, The Prince of Pizza is my favorite! Consistency with flavor, crust and toppings keep me coming back. I suggest pick-up, easy parking and it really is done in 15 minutes.

My co-workers and I found this on Grub Hub and decided to try this out. The pizza was decent and okay-priced. The sandwiches are not anything amazing. And the garlic knots are the worst… if a pizza joint can’t get garlic knots right then what’s the point of ordering anything from there? It was basically knots, just bread but no garlic, fail. The WORST part was the delivery guy. I work in a university and he asked our admin assistant to meet him at the street… If I’m not mistaken, the whole point of getting delivery is to have your food delivered to you… so when he eventually decides to do his job and deliver the food to my office he continues to harass our assistant and he told her«next time order from the bayonne location!» How about we don’t order from you at all? How about you notify Grub Hub the parameters of your delivery route? Not only that they forgot to give us our drinks with our lunch specials. Yep. This place sucks. My advice? Order from Romano’s or Vinnie’s, I dislike them so much I’m going to promote other pizza joints on their Unilocal page.

They just opened a new location in Bayonne, NJ& we have ordered food delivered multiple times to our office since they opened. The food is DELICIOUS& portions are ENORMOUS — example, a panini is about a foot long, salads are enormous, and food tastes really good. Prices are really reasonable(panini $ 7.50, 3 cheese calzones — lunch order $ 6.50, etc.). Only small issue is that deliveries from the Bayonne location takes a bit of time(@ 30 minutes from time you call in the order). Worth ordering from them for a hot, delicious lunch for a really reasonable price. No idea how the place looks inside, as I’ve never been in the store itself.

Never been inside the place but gotten pizza delivery from here a few times. The first time I got delivery from here, was by far the best. Got the vodka pizza and the sauce was delicious and had a ton of vodka and garlic flavor. The other times I ordered the same pizza, it wasn’t the same and lacked the flavor of the first one. In fact, the second time I almost wondered if they had even given me a vodka pizza so I ordered one again the next time and it was the same. You could kind of taste the vodka sauce but it was way too subtle. Since then, I haven’t bothered paying the extra money for the vodka pie. Their regular pizzas(pepperoni, mushroom, etc.) are pretty solid. Nothing amazing but pretty consistent. They get an extra star from me for their crust which I really like and also their delivery which is usually relatively fast. I think I ordered garlic knots once also which were not too memorable(clearly). They also have some other Italian dishes but I haven’t tried those.
