This is not far from my job, and I find myself coming here a lot. First of all, they serve hot breakfast and lunch, Buffet style. It’s 3.25 per half pound for breakfast, and 4.25 for dinner. Apart from the buffet, they have several stations where food is made to order: pizza, sandwich, hot food, stir fry, Mexican, and grill. They also have a complete salad bar. The buffet is usually where I go to, and it’s always good. Common things you will see are: grilled chicken, porkchops, bbq chicken wings, and salmon. For the value, you can’t go wrong. I usually pay under 7 dollars and get a complete meal. They also have seating nearby. For a protip, if the line is long just go the back. There is another register there.

The Quick: a little pricey but a solid lunch spot in JC considering there aren’t that many options The Details: The salad bar was great with so many different options and grilled veggies. I like that you could add as much as you want, unlike a classic Chop’t or Just Salads. There are definitely better options in the world but for a quick yummy lunch I was very satisfied. Plus there are seats for after you pay that are overlooking the water which was very relaxing. The Damage: $ 11 and change for a salad and soda. Pricey for the area but normal compared to NYC lunches.

I have worked extensively the Market at Newport, coordinating a number of business-related events and am always happy with both their food and service — both are high quality. I am extremely impressed by Chef David Klar’s professionalism, expertise in culinary event planning and eye for detail — I know that my event will turn out great. I would highly recommend David and his staff to any company for their catering needs. Don’t hesitate to try them for your catering needs in the Newport area! In addition, I buy my own breakfast and lunch here a few times a week as well. There is a great variety of choices — everything from a salad bar, pasta bar, soup, sandwiches, and daily specials. Quality of the food is always consistent and the staff is courteous, professional and helpful.

over priced, they add a quarter or so on EVERY order, yesterday they added .75 cents and when I questioned it, ONLY after I asked for a receipt, he said it was a mistake. I wonder how many of these mistakes are actually made on daily basis. There is no use in complaining because no one does anything. The food is ok, IF the cook doesn’t mess up your order. Also, the same person that owns the market owns, a few other places in the building, so there is no use to going somewhere else. You just have to be careful or bring your own lunch.

Highest prices this side of Manhattan, in some cases a lot more than manhattan, and by far the most overpriced cafeteria in the garden state. manager was worse than the employees he didnt seems to care when i complained about the prices. My company already stopped using them for corporate events because of the prices. 7 dollars for a cup of yogurt. really. 10 dollars for a salad… when the cooks screw up your order, which is almost everytime, as soon as you say something about it everyone mysteriously forgets english. *UPDATE* well i havent been there in over 6 months because of the prices, so i decided to grab a quick soup and salad. With no drink just soup and salad it was over 15 dollars!!! over 5 dollars for a small soup! This place is nothing more than a cafeteria for the building and they charge these kinds of prices. time to start getting people from my building to complain, hopefully they go out of business soon and someone else opens with better prices. This place is becoming a ghost town since another place just opened up 300 feet away with better prices and way better service.

I have been here a few times and have gotten Indian food from here. The food is pretty decent for a market and the lines are short. The combo meals are 7.95… At least for the vegetarian one and good service. All in all not a bad place to get Indian food or breakfast!
