One word: HORRIBLE. me and my gf drove 35 mins to this bar because we saw the turn around on bar rescue and I can’t begin to describe the disappointment. First, there isn’t parking. Second, there’s no drink menus. Third the kitchen was closed and atmosphere wasn’t friendly. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone. Jon Taffer wasted his time!

We had yuca fries and a couple drinks here. The beer selection is minimal and when my wife asked for a margarita, the bartender suggested a whiskey drink instead. The yuca fries were pretty delicious and were the highlight. The bar tender was nice, but kept having loud, scratchy issues with the sound system. There was a pretty drunk guy wandering around the bar singing and dancing with himself– odd for 5PM. The bartender did have the fortitude to refuse him service.

Had high hopes for this place came out quite disappointed Food: Amazing! The best part of this place! Me and my lady had the mofongo… empanadas & tostones sliders and all where amazing and very cheap! The chef needs a promotion! Service: needs improvement walked in after 10 minutes sitting around we we’re finally greeted Drinks: the bartender that was working that evening made some nice tasting piña coladas but everything else was blah… i mean come on she didn’t even know how to make a margarita. definitely needs more training On another note they’re heat is not that good so be prepared to wear you’re coat while you’re in there! The place does definitely look nice inside that’s a plus

My fiancée and I recently discovered Tres Cuartos & it is truly a hidden gem. And it’s even sweeter that’s in our neighborhood! Went in one night for a late night drink & with the hope of listening to some classic salsa. To our surprise the DJ catered an eclectic genre of music. One to fit every generation and any age: throwback reggae from the 90’s, freestyle, classic salsa, merengue and even some radio contemporary beats. We danced & had a great time! The lighting, the art work, the people reminds me of old San Juan. And for a moment it feels like you are there. Another plus is the food-WOW!!! We were both blown away. It’s authentic Puerto Rican food in a cuisine/tapas type of presentation. My fiancée ordered Alcapurrias and they were cooked«perfectly.» I ordered the Abuelita’s beef empanadas– perfect score! Beef was seasoned just right and empanadas were fluffy and crispy. The sauce on the side was amazing– a cross between chimichurri sauce and a greenish dip. Lastly we ordered the sliders and again delicious! The food was a perfect score across the board. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he makes you feel right at home. Thumbs up for his hospitality, he even checked in on us throughout the night. Cheers to 2015 and discovering a great neighborhood bar/restaurant that is definitely worth the try! We will most definitely return!
