Where are the managers? Feels like this place is being ran by a group of wild high school drop outs. For some reason there was no music in the dining room, but it was blasting in the kitchen and everyone back there was singing and having a jolly good time. Having said that, it came as no surprise that the medium rare steak we ordered looked like it had been sitting in the window longer than anything else we ordered. So we cut it open and sure enough, it had become a well done steak since the kitchen staff doesn’t know how to prepare food in the proper order. The children’s cheeseburger plate was so hot it burned a 7 year olds hands… The plate… For a cheeseburger. And ironically, the only person competent enough to clear our appetizer plates after we got our meals, was someone from the kitchen staff. Our waitress couldn’t be bothered with our dirty dishes, she was too busy«training» a new member of the wait staff(oh the irony). We had to wait 15 minutes to simply be able to ASK for a steak knife, then we waited another 5 minutes to get it. No wonder the parking lot was empty and we were one of the only guests dining there. Strange they were so slow, but struggled so hard to meet basic expectations. So I say again, where are the managers? They must be as incompetent as their employees. I suggest cleaning house! Applebee’s may not be a «great» place to eat, but it’s certainly better than this… BTW, picture is of empty cups that sit there for at least 30 – 45 minutes before the waitress finally decided to take them out of our way.

I arrived here before supper rush hour, and although there was only one waitress here, I was waited on promptly, and with a smile. The appetizer, spinach artichoke dip was great as always. I usually won’t order steak from anywhere but a known steak restaurant, but decided to try one here, so I ordered a small steak, it came promptly an was cooked as ordered seasoned well, great taste. Broccoli was tender not over cooked. Delicious meal. Desert was unnecessary but I ordered it any how, I’m a happy person for the evening now.

The following events happened Saturday, May 28, 2016: I arrived at this establishment roughly about 9:30pm with a party of 14. Called ahead to ensure they had space, which they surely did. We roughly seated about 9:40pm. Drink orders were taken at 10:04pm. That seemed kind of a long time to be unrecognized, but not an issue. Roughly about 10:23 pm, appetizers and meal orders were taken. I ordered from the 2 for $ 25 menu and multiple appetizers. It is 11:11 pm and they have yet to bring out even one appetizer. They offered us free chips and salsa about 40 minutes into the ordeal after complaining about not having ANYFOOD. They bring out one tray of chips and salsa for a table of 14! 11:17 and only checked on our drinks once! No food, but since our drinks are there, you know we sipped on them to try to pass time and the onslaught of hunger pains. They blame their lack of service on the rush that came in. Why are the«rush people» eating before us though? 11:25 and only roughly 25% of the appetizers have come to our table of 14. A true pet peeve of mine is ordering appetizers and those appetizers coming out at the same time as the entrees. Bigger pet peeve would be not getting fed at all. Speaking to the manager, she states she will either give us free dessert or more chips and salsa. 11:33 they tell us to just leave and don’t worry about the food. They will not charge us for the few appetizers they did bring to the table, and just zero out the tab. Fair enough. Thanks for nothing.

Horrible service. The waitress forgot everything. Never refilled our drinks. We had to ask another waiter for multiple things. It was after 11 and it felt like you were walking into a club at this place. So odd. Felt very dirty here. Food wasn’t good either.

Place was super empty and now we see why. Surrounding restaurant parking lots were full for a late a Thursday night. We sat at 8:15pm got a few appetizers had no silverware or napkins and my mother in law got coffee but did not get her spoon for 20 minutes. By 9:15 we got salads but still had no silverware. I asked for the manager she had this blank what do you want stare. I explained how long we had been waiting and she said she ok… I’ll get some. No apology or anything. I asked her«thats it?» and said yeah and walked away. Waited some more, the servers said they had to wash and roll still. We went to cancel the order which only made the Manger even more pissy. She took off the food but still charged us for the salads because they«were delivered to the table» even though we did not touch them because again we had no silverware. We also got charged for a few other things that never even came to the table. I was in disbelief and said how can you be so unconcerned this is very unprofessional. She said I had to leave. That I was making a scene. Mind you I have my entire family there for my mother in laws birthday we even had 3 small children all under 12. We asked for her name and she did not want to tell us. We asked again 2 more times she said her name was Kelbie. We went to leave and stopped at the bar to ask for sure her name because the business cards up front had a different name and she followed us and said now we were harassing her staff and that she would call the cops. I cannot believe that just happen. Not once did we raise our voices to her and not once did she ever apologize, and she had the nerve to threaten us. Believe me when I say I will be calling corporate. It is unbelievable this woman has a job in costumer service and to be a manager at that. I’ve worked in the food industry for many years in the past and thought I had seen it all but Wow. I have NEVER in my life experienced that kind of carelessness. What a humiliation. We went next door to Chili’s and the service was prompt and friendly.

If I could this review zero stars I would. Got a gift certificate so went here for dinner. We were the only two people in the entire restaurant and that is including the bar. Yet the service was horrible. Waiter didn’t even know what a club soda was. We ordered appetizers and they took twenty minutes to get. Then when we did get them they still didn’t take our order. Finally ordered the house steak. It took another over 20 minutes to get. The steak was over cooked. The vegetables were cold and the baked potato was crunchy. Ran out of water before dinner even came and never did get more. Horrible service and even worse food. Will never return. There are at least twenty restaurants in the immediate area so I expect this one will be gone soon enough. Obviously others feel the same way which is why it was empty.

Service is TERRIBLE! I took 15mins before I waitress came and took our DRINK order & while ordering drinks we ordered a spinach dip appetizer and our meals. Another 10min to bring out just the drinks and 20mins for appetizer. We ran out of chips very quickly since they only gave us like 10 chips on the plate and we asked for more which took forever to receive because she forgot. After of no food we decided to leave. I spoke with manager who was very nice and understanding and let him know what happened.

I will start by saying I was impressed by the food. I ordered salmon and it came out perfectly cooked and very tasty. We sat in the bar area to be able to watch a game on TV. The service was very poor. Our waitress/bartender seemed annoyed to have to take our order. She was not friendly and quit rude. Their drink promotion was 10 $ bottle of wine. I asked what kind it was. She said it was only Moscato, which i do not drink. We asked if there were others she said no. I ended up ordering a different wine by the glass. Within 15 minutes the table behind us with another waitress asked about the wine special. Apparently for them, they got to choose something other than moscato. I may go back one more time but if the service is that bad again I will never return.

This place sucked. I won a gift card and intended to just buy drinks at the bar. The margarita was pure margarita mix and even the beer tasted like the tank hadn’t been cleaned out in years. The restaurant itself was dirty and the bar had sticky parts. Don’t go here.

First time at Apple Bees EVER, went here with my sis on a Wednesday evening the place was DEAD. Good, i figured since no one was there we can get great quick service but was wrong. We got our booth and were seated and there was this guy sweeping literally by our feet. Smh. When i opened the silverware it was FILTHY&DIRTY! My sister checked her’s and it was disgusting as well! I ordered the Bourbon Steak and Shrimp with loaded mashed potatoes, VERYSMALL! My sister got the fried shrimp nothing wow about it looks like u can make it home. Food was good just wished that the entrée was a little bit bigger than what i received. Our server by the name of Frankie was VERYNICE, we had tipped her $ 10. But i don’t think we will ever eat here at Apple Bees again. This was my sis and i first time and was morally disgusted i think we will stick to eating at Chilis!

My wife and I dropped in on this place for dinner because 290 had horrible construction traffic and it was going to take forever to get home. Big mistake. This intersection has a bunch of restaurants to choose from, but we picked Applebee’s because it had been over 10 years since either of us had been to one. I ordered a pepper crusted steak and my wife had the chicken with portobello mushrooms. My steak was ok, but the tomato, spinach and other sides were soggy. My wife’s dish wasn’t any better. Her chicken was bland. The best part was her side potatoes. Our waitress never checked on us. As we finished our meal, we talked about ordering some shrimp to go. The meal left us unsatisfied. We were still hungry for something with flavor. I found a waiter and asked him to get our waitress so I can order some shrimp and get the check. As we waited for her to show up, a ROACH ran across the table! Wtf?! Ok– no shrimp! I just want my check so we can get out of here. About 8 minutes later, the waitress drops by.(Nice of her to grace us with her presence) I told her everything was fine except for the roach that ran across the table. I didn’t go into how bad the food was because we just wanted to leave ASAP. She didn’t apologize, she just made a weird face and went to get the check. I told my wife that I wanted to try and take a pic of the roach for Unilocal.I prepped my camera as she lifted the condiment tray. No roach. Oh well. Our waitress returned and let us know that the meal was comp’d for the inconvenience. That was very nice of her. As my wife and I stood up to leave, the roach came out from under my wife’s plate again. She screamed. I still had my phone’s camera on and snapped the pic below quickly. Perfect timing. It will be longer than 10 years before we go to another Applebee’s again.

The story you are about to read is true. The names have been changed to protect the(not so) innocent. The hubbs and I were in search of a burger. A burger at any old fast food restaurant would not do. We chose Applebee’s based off of the pictures on their website(mistake 1). We sat and began to discuss topics such as politics and the latest trends in doggy fashion when after quite some time our waiter, we shall call him«George», showed up. George appeared to be having a bad day as he was unable to muster up a smile. Well, we had not yet decided on which drinks we wanted so we requested a couple of waters until we could make up our minds(mistake 2). George then asked us if we were ready to order our food, which it just so happened that we were. According to the menu, there are two options when it comes to burgers: pink or no pink, but we decided to go forth with our orders anyway(mistake 3). I ordered The Classic, pink, add cheddar and bacon and the hubbster got The American Standard, no pink, as is. We then continued discussing our undying love for one another, among other things, while we waited… and waited… and waited. George finally showed up to check on none other than the folks at the table behind us. Hubbmeister flagged George down to place our actual drink order since we assumed they must be out of water. We both got the Long Island Iced Tea. Eventually we actually ended up with, in no particular order, two burgers and fries, two Long Islands and yes, two waters. Guess who’s burger was not pink? I’m not real sure why they even put that as an option on the menu these days, as it is nearly impossible to get a burger or steak any way but well done anymore(WTH?!). His burger was pretty tasty, mine was meh! We liked the long islands just fine. While the thought had crossed our minds to get dessert, we decided against it(smart move 1). The End.

About 10 minutes went by my father asked«what’s going on? What do you mean the kitchen is backed up?» And he explained to us how a party of 20 just came and the kitchen was backed up? Just confused why we couldn’t just already be seated… I counted myself. 6 empty tables + an empty bar. Then we were seated. Serve was alright, seemed like she didn’t want to be there but got the job done. My parents ordered the 2 for 25. Boneless wing for the appetizer and I was not sure what they ordered for their dinner. But the boneless wings could have used more sauce. Now I ordered a full racks of ribs with sides of mashed potatoes and corn. She said the corn taste sweet. Ribs were just not good. Why would you go to Applebee’s for ribs? Lol good question. Didn’t even finish half of my full rack. Now the corn. I guess they forgot to put the sweetness? It was corn with garlic and other seasoning but all the seasoning wasn’t even mixed in. Just laying on the bottom. Took a big bite and all I got was a chunk of garlic and seasoning… Never again will come back the food was not worth my money or my time… Well at least my food wasn’t!
