Hercules Fence

The price was good and I liked the salesman. However the crew that turned up to do the job did not speak any english. Unfortunately we couldn’t communicate and this lead to the fence being placed in slightly the wrong spot — and thereby losing about one foot of land alongside my home, and rendering that flower bed along that boundary unusable. Plus, the gate latch mechanism broke within one month of installation. They said we must have allowed it to slam but that was not the case. After some argument they sent out a repairman. When the weather warned up, it then became impossible to unlatch the gate. Even the postman complained that he could not get through the gate. We called for a repair — it took literally months for them to send someone out… let’s see if that will fix the problem…

This company was contracted to replace the wooden fencing in my condo complex this November. The quality of the work was astonishingly amateurish and in many areas downright sloppy. I posted a picture of a gate that was built crooked and face and cap boards that don’t even come close to matching at the corners. I asked the crew foreman to come look at some of the errors made on my fence, but he never showed. I would not hire this company to build a doghouse. My pets deserve better.

Very professional service, the contractors were on time. Neat, clean work. Veru good company overall.

Our new Hercules fence is fantastic. Their bid was extremely competitive, beating out Long and several other companies and the work was performed by a super hardworking, competent and friendly crew. The estimator was very informative and helped use decide on a style for our unusual lot, (small with many grades). He even let us move the pickets to a distance of 1.5″ rather than 2.5″ for the same price! We could not be happier
