Ok, so here goes… First off, I am bummed Noche left, but I am checking my fanboy status at the door. As a «friend of Tom», I was excited to try their new creation. Took the family here on a Friday night. The service is still great(lots of familiar faces of Noche). Atmosphere is great, good music, good drinks, etc… Let’s get to the«bad». We ordered raw oysters(in season), mahi, and the seafood fried platter. Oysters were fishy smelling and tasting. I am a bit of a connoisseur of raw oysters, but again, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Seafood platter was very bare, fried oysters were over cooked, crab cake looked like it was previously frozen, the fried shrimp wasn’t bad, average. Everything here was small and nothing special. Mahi with lobster mashed potatoes was ok, I would probably compare it to a dish from Applebee’s. Not a bad taste, but a frail piece of fish, and a boring rest of the dish. We also got a side of «bacon and shrimp Mac and cheese». This was the dish that put the nail in the coffin. It was like someone took noodles, velvita cheese, bacon bits, and TAIWANIMPORTEDPRECOOKEDSHRIMP and mixed it together. So in closing, we are really disappointed with this place, and probably won’t go back for a few months, if at all. I am hopeful that my review will help the business fix their issues and get back on track. I really want this restaurant/location to do well, because I live in the area… so tough love is necessary! If we come back, I will consider updating my review. Good luck.

Yes I know it’s a chain and I have been to the Buckhead location. I also understand that being a location they will have service issues to work out. That shouldn’t cause major issues with the food however. The food is mediocre and the prices are pretty steep for what you get. The pepper jack cheese grits would have held siding on to your house they were so thick and gooey. They gladly brought mashed potatoes as a replacement but they were not much better. The iron skillet«Cajun» salmon was tasty but forgettable. This is our second visit in the restaurant’s brief, one week existence. I think we will wait a while before we decide to try again. I want to make sure there are no excuses for service or food shortcomings.

Sad to see Noche go! We tried Coast last night, will most likely not be back. We called ahead to make reservations and let them know we were celebrating our anniversary. Upon arrival, we already were a little confused as to what kind of restaurant this was. The décor is all over the place and the lighting is bright and obnoxious. The bartender suggested it was more upscale than noche… while wearing a t-shirt and blue jean booty shorts? We let the hostess know we were their 8:30 reservation, and she told us to go pick our own table. Awkward. I honestly don’t know what her job is? How about a sign that says seat yourself. We chose outside, where we waited for several minutes… no menu, no water, no waitress. We decided to move to the bar, assuming that the bartender would be more prompt and attentive. Ordered drinks, the seafood platter, calamari and 12 oysters. Calamari came out… where it sat and stared at us because we had to track someone down for silverware. And then plates. Calamari was good… Oysters came out, and again they sat as we had to ask for horseradish… twice. The blue points were good… the waiter mentioned that the others were gulf. They were not, they were from Virginia… but at Gulf prices. Ok? Educate your staff please. And they were really bad, should have stuck with the blue points. The chilled seafood platter. The only thing that was worth eating was the shrimp. They really were tasty. Everything else tasted like it was just thawed or dumped out of a can. Not acceptable for a raw bar. The drinks… well I went with a vodka martini. It’s vodka so you can’t mess that up, right? Nope… the olives were hard. Yes, hard. That’s the only way to describe it. To end the evening, we weren’t at all wished a happy anniversary. Nothing was special about our experience there. Like I said, we most likely won’t be back. If we want seafood or oysters we’ll continue to go to Hugo’s where they gave us complimentary champagne for our anniversary last year. Sorry I cheated on you Hugo! Happy Anniversary to us!

We have been here several times and really enjoy the Kids Eat Free on Sundays because they actually mean it. Our kids love it! We enjoy going after church with friends and the food is awesome!!! We like trying and ordering several different items and sharing. Our favorites that we definitely get each time are the shrimp and grits and the bacon-wrapped dates… wow!

Tapas restaurants are getting really popular all over the country and another great example is Noche. They actually have a few locations, but I’m focusing on the Johns Creek location for this review. They have ample seating when it comes to space, this a large restaurant with both outdoor and indoor seating. They have a full staff working to handle a big crowd if needed, so you shouldn’t expect to long of a wait when it come to service. This place is good for groups and families as well. If you’re lucky, they may have a live band playing when you visit. The food here is typical of what you would expect from most Spanish tapas bars, be prepared to order a few of them since portions wise they are small and even by definition tapas translates to pretty much that. The Noche Favorites menu(link below) has more entrees on it, so those can be shared as they are bigger in portion. They have a drinks and dessert menu as well, I didn’t get a chance to try those so can’t really comment there(link also below, let me know what you recommend!). Overall, compared to the other tapas bars in the city, this place isn’t as high end as they are. I would say its a bit more family oriented, which isn’t a bad thing. Give it a shot if you’re a fan of tapas or just want to try it, this would be a good starter place, before venturing out to the more exotic tapas bars. My Recommendations: –Noche Paella –Hummus and Pita Bread –Atlantic Salmon Ceviche Menu:

I love this place! They have small plates; therefore, I normally order three food items. The items that I like best are the chilled asparagus(I got mine grilled), mango BBQ salman and the queso dip. The house Fried chicken and mussels are nothing to write home about… I loved the chocolate cake with almond icecream, because it’s not to sweet!

We got to eat on the patio with our pooch which was awesome. I do wish they made the queso without jalapenos, but it was still pretty good. I was able to eat it without getting heartburn so hooray for that! Tried a couple of the tacos and they were tasty but nothing to write home about. They have drink and food specials depending on the night of the week.

Love this place. I am so glad that this little place opened up in our neck of the woods. We had a number of different tacos which included steak, veggie, fish and chicken. The service was very fast and the food came out piping hot. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a cute spot for a date night or with a group of friends.

Went to Noche with some friends and their family. I had been to several tapas restaurants before and heard some good things about Noche. I was definitely not disappointed. While enjoying my $ 3 mimosa, my hubby and I split 3 dishes. We ordered the trailer park on fire, the hamburguesa, and the Noches nachos. Everything was delicious! My favorite had to have been the hamburguesa though. I’m not a fan of avocados, but the avocado sauce on the mini-burger was amazing. The hamburguesa comes with some fried potatoes that you can dip into this creamy, spicy sauce. Just the right amount of goodness to keep you eating more.

Monday after work and taking the kids to their activities we stumbled onto Noche. What a great surprise, $ 2 Tacos! We had Chicken, BBQ, and Shrimp tacos. All were great, but that Shrimp taco was everything! The environment was kid friendly and family oriented. We even saw kids from school and swimming. This was a great treat, and we’ll be back another Monday for more tacos.

Wow. Fabulous food. Service was okay could have been better but maybe it was just our server. Had various trailer park tacos –ok sort of spicy we thought, shrimp and lobster taco– good, calamari– good, goat cheese fritter– nah we didn’t like, saluted spinch– ok, paella — very good, mini crab cakes — very good, spanish meatballs– good, sardines– love, had a mojito and sangria– all good. The apple bread pudding– absolutely delicious. Overall it’s a winner, we’d definitely go again but these r small plates hence the Tapas so you’ll spend more than u think Recommend and would definitely go back!!!

As a long time ITPer moving to the burbs, this Noche has saved my culinary life. The restaurant itself is on the corner of an unassuming strip development. Parking can be a challenge at times. The ambiance itself is not earth shattering, but is nice enough. The patio on a nice day rocks. The servers are friendly and attentive. When it is busy, it can get a little hectic(as most places). The food is great for a boutique Mexi-Merican establishment. Monday nights are hands down the best. $ 2 tacos? YES!(Except the lobster one…) Other items worth trying are the fried chicken(is substantial and tasty) or the Huevos Rancheros(a filling item too). The spinach is considerably bland and could use a splash of balsamic or something. Drinks can be strong and there is usually a drink special going on. Cheers! You cannot go wrong here and it is wonderful pillar of the neighborhood.

Went to Noche last night hoping to cure my hankering for Spanish tapas. Was not really impressed, here is why : The +s: — local place to nosh on some small plates — somewhat good attempt at Spanish tapas. Not a ton of places in the immediate area to satisfy this need. — prices are decent. Our bill came out to 63+ tip. The –s: –Really salty food. Seriously stuff some bottles of water in your car for the ride home because you will walk out with cotton mouth. — food was unimaginative and to close to local favorites but just in small portions. When I think of tapas I think if things like chorizo corn dogs and bull tail shepherds pie. We are in atl and have access to some really exotic ingredients(thanks hartsfield Jackson airport). — had to ask for a swap on my plate between courses. This should be a given. Who wants to mix the Spanish potato sauce with shrimp and grits?. Ewe! Here is what we ordered : –Chacuterie and cheese plate: Serrano ham was fatty, the chorizo was really cold and seemed like it was just pulled out of the fridge. Cheeses were decent. –Spanish potatoes: really salty but we ate them because we were really hungry ‚ –olives(they didn’t have this on the menu so I had to ask) — meatballs: these were really wet in the inside, I actually had to look to make sure it was cooked because it had that consistency. They did have a good flavor though. — shrimp and cheese grits: these were actually really good … But this the last place I’d think about coming for a dish like this . — paella: mussels and shrimp were good and tasted fresh but this paella lacked any personality. It just tasted like these items were all cooked seperately and then mixed together. It didn’t have any fish in this, which is what I’d expect . Would I return? Prob not, this was a 10 mile drive from our house. If I was in the area and was hungry is probably when I’d think about it but I’d make sure I had a ton of water for afterwards. I will add that I am bit jaded by a recent trip to Barcelona. It’s hard to live up to anything like Spain. I’m still dreaming of the fresh ingredients and iberico Ham. Mmmmm Do what you want with this review. If you haven’t been to Spain and never tried tapas then you will be fine, but those accustomed to tapas. Caveat emptor.

Don’t go here expecting Spanish style tapas, on second thoughts don’t go here period. Went for dinner and tried three items here. 1. Spanish-Fried Potatoes — borderline OK, all we could taste was paprika powder. Had to coat each of the potato wedges in the pepper sauce to douse the strong canned-paprika taste. 2. House-Fried chicken — the chicken itself was fried well, but lacked any seasoning — no salt /pepper what so ever. Instant mashed potatoes for sides anyone? 3. Garlic Mushrooms — mushrooms were OK — expected something crispier. All in all Noche, three strikes and you’re out!

We really enjoyed our tapas. Every dish was delicious. We ordered the deviled eggs, grilled asparagus, noche house salad, carne asada, Catalan shrimp & spanish meatballs. For dessert, we had the cheesecake flan. Everything was excellent esp the carne asada. My least fav was the deviled eggs which were ok. We are def coming back.

First time trying the food here and it was delicious. The house salsa was spicy which I liked. Started out with a pitcher of sangria, it wasn’t the best sangria I had, but it was still good. We had the fried chicken and mashed potato. I didn’t care too much for the chicken because half of it was just fried skin but the mashed potato was creamy and flavorful. The paella had generous amount of seafood and the rice was nice and fluffy The mango salsa that comes with the empanadas had to be my favorite. The cheese cake flan was delicious it had a hint of lemon

I was very impressed with my visit to this Noche in Johns Creek. Met up with Tammi D. and friends for a happy hour here after work one night and the overall visit was a success. Wasn’t expecting too much from the tapas menu that night but I fell in love with the bacon wrapped dates. Every bite just melted in my mouth. The dates were cooked soft but it was the combination of sweet and salty that made you crave more. I’m pretty sure I ordered 2 plates of those that night. It was THAT good. My sangria was decent. It was white wine sangria and sweet enough that I asked for a second glass. This Noche is spacious and inviting. They have a HUGE outdoor patio area. Your view is the parking lot but on a sunny day, the view is the least of your worries. You’ll definitely enjoy their entire menu. Food was fresh and on time. Our server was extremely attentive and made sure that the others at our table enjoyed their first visit to the restaurant. I’m sure if I’m in the JC area again, I’ll return for future visits.

I recently visited and tried two plates. The grilled octopus and fried chicken. The grilled octopus was good and complimented by the potatoes, peppers and onions. The fried chicken is a boneless breast, served with chipotle mashed potatoes with ancho chili sauce. Both dishes were good however, I thought the portion size of the mashed potatoes was too large for the chicken breast. I plan to visit again to try other dishes; the Huevos Rancheros con Chorizo y Papas looks good!
